More than 20 religious leaders participated in a ceremony to "bless" a new Planned Parenthood clinic in Washington, D.C., calling the abortion facility a "sacred work." "In almost every message to our staff, I talk about our doing sacred work," Dr. Laura Meyers, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington, told DCist.com. "This confirms the sacredness of the work we do."
LifeNews.com, commenting that blessing an abortion clinic seems "antithetical to religious beliefs about the sanctity of life," noted the new abortion facility is located next to a popular charter elementary school, much to the outrage of pro-lifers and parents. The nearly $20 million, 27,000-square-foot facility, which officially opened in September, also serves as the administrative headquarters for Planned Parenthood of Metropolitan Washington.
The organizer of the event Tuesday was the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice, which says its mission is to bring "the moral force of religion to protect and advance reproductive health, choice, rights and justice through education, prophetic witness, pastoral presence and advocacy..."

Part of the "Obama Effect", is the Nation's significant increase in the acceptance of infacticide over the eight years of his presidency. Even to abortion's most staunch advocates, there was always some shame associated with the practice. However today, abortion is championed and paraded across the country and social-sphere. It is no secret that President Barack Obama is the most pro-abortion advocate to ever hold the nation's top executive office. Prior to the Presidency, when still in the Illinois State Senate, he had the most pro-abortion voting record, receiving a 100 percent score from the Illinois Planned Parenthood Council.
He has expanded abortions, and abortion acceptance, through Obamacare, appointing pro-abortion judges and officials, and stripping medical professionals of conscience rights, and forcing taxpayers to fund groups who provide abortions in other countries. On the memorial of Roe v Wade, President Obama praised the Supreme Court decision as having liberated women and pledged to "recommit" himself to ensuring that all women would have the opportunity to "fulfill their dreams." [of killing babies?!?] He made no mention, however of the 50 million unborn children who have been needlessly slaughtered since the Supreme Court's decision in 1973. What about those children's dreams?
Like Ahab and his vile wife Jezebel, Obama has emboldened a new generation of abortion supporting religious leaders. These pastors, elders, and prophets are not prophets of Jesus Christ, rather they are abortion supporting prophets of Baal (dread god of the Canaanites). They only masquerade as Christian, and rather than righteously standing against the behavior that leads to unwanted pregnancies, these pastors, religious leaders, and prophets advocate the offering unwanted babies up as a sacrifice on Baal's alter of convenience.

Actually, the one and really only deviance that polls show has not been accepted more is abortion.

If leftist democrats have no problem with killing babies in the womb, then they have no problem with killing anyone who disagrees with them.

I believe the author is talking about the people who pray for abortions to cease as they stand in front of one of the "killing houses." They are NOT protestors.

And it was the devout Catholic, Nasty Pelosi, who said abortion is the most sacred part of her Catholic faith.
These people are sick murderous savages. Not only do the support abortion, but they celebrate it. They proclaim killing an unborn child is some wonderful thing. The truth is the liberal progressive loves power above all else. And what more powerful act can one have than killing children, legally, AND forcing people to pay for it? There is nothing more powerful than taking the lives of the most innocent and vulnerable.
If the practice were in any way normal, they wouldn’t have to try so hard to normalize and even ‘sanctify’ it. Same for a whole host of perversions and depravity.
