YOU are the one advocating greater power for government.
We don’t need GOVERNMENT to protect us from the dangerous power of churches.
But let the pastor of some conservative church preach that Planed Parenthood is killing babies and they should try to prevent government funding and the IRS will suddenly become stalwart promoters of the Johnson Amendment.
I was referring to the churches in CA.
There are very expensive churches in CA who are running up bills of 100k/month and bringing in 20k.
The only way out is to sell them or bring in more people.
If they sell them, they will NEVER be able to buy them back.
Thus the real reason the Catholic Church is pushing illegals.
Its all about money.
I still say the bishops’ fanaticism about No Borders is more deeply ideological than that. They are Marxist Globalists, and believe the U.S. deserves to be conquered.
