I know this could be a Catholic Caucus, but I am leaving it open in hope that some non-Catholics may read it and watch the video with an open heart.
Monsignor Pope Ping!
However, there is nothing in the New Testament to indicate Mary is our “mother”. The Greek of the passage in question in John does not support the Roman Catholic claim that Jesus gave Mary to all of us.
As old as Msgr. Charles Pope is, I would think his mother would be dead. But I could be wrong.
My 84 yr old Mother and I are headed for Fatima on the 16th (after the crowds), then on to Lourds.
5 yrs ago she went with my wife and I to Israel.
Has anyone considered how the 1918-1920 “Spanish” Flu (H1N1) pandemic figures into any of this?
See how the vultures have already swooped in?
Even on a Catholic Caucus thread, anyone is allowed to read it and view any links in it. So why not caucus it?
I'm a fan of Reba McEntire. She is doing her part with her latest song and video, "Give Back To God"
For instance:
"In all Her appearances at Fatima, the Blessed Mother repeatedly emphasized the necessity of praying the Rosary daily, of wearing the Brown Scapular of Mount Carmel."
And this:
"At Fatima, the Blessed Virgin Mary told the three child seers that many souls go to hell because they have no one to pray or make sacrifices for them."
It is sad.
Wonderful! Enjoy your trip!
Wonderful article. Great that Msgr. Pope cited scripture as well. God Bless.

It is not demonic and has been approved by the Church.

Safe and wonderful travels. God Bless.
Have those posts that look like attack post removed.
Sadly, the Roman church has often been very, very wrong and at times, evil. It is human nature.
The supernatural, when not divine, is demonic. The arbiter is simply consistency with what God has declared in His word. Fatima is inconsistent.
As I posted before, it is a sad thing.
One of the statues specially blessed at Fatima and traveling the country is at my parish today. I was there this morning for part of the service for the school kids with the lecture. I’ll be going back to meditate and venerate later today.
What a blessing...to have your dear 84 YO mother able to make these wonderful trips, with you.
Blessings and safe travels!
