(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either satire or opinion. Or both.)

Let me guess, they'll start with Mohammad?

It wouldn’t be surprising.

I’d start with St. Martin of Wittenberg, who guided the church to consider its slouching towards corruption.

St. Harvey Milk would be my guess.

Sounds good. I would also add every non-Catholic, Christian martyr. Especially those martyred in the Middle East.

And again we see Roman Catholicism departing from the NT is establishing a separate set of believers. When in the NT those who believe in Christ are called saints.
1Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are at Ephesus and who are faithful in Christ Jesus Ephesians 1:1 NASB
1Paul and Timothy, bond-servants of Christ Jesus, To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, including the overseers and deacons Philippians 1:1 NASB
1Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, 2To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father. Colossians 1:1-2 NASB

Kind of makes one happy to know that Jesus is coming for us in 71 days to take us away from this evil.

If you think “saints” is an absolutely univocal term, in all languages, all places, and all centuries, then you must be one of those people who say that the Constitution calls for the government to give out “WELFARE.” After all, it’s mentioned in the Preamble and in the “general welfare clause.”

The ‘saints’ were predestined by God Himself.. before the foundation of this world, and the Creator never delegated that role to any man.

How’s that pope thing working out for you?
Isn’t it just peachy having only one head over the whole denomination?

Again a Romam Catholic priest ignores the meaning of the words in the New Testamemt. Not a total surprise.
