I think we will soon see. Look closely at the text used this year for the renewal of the promises, if it is the Christ or to the “magisterium of Bergoglio”!

John Henry Cardinal Newman once said, “To be deep in history is to cease to be Protestant.” Only the Catholic Church has the most powerful presence of the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
If a person is of good will, and truly seeking the truth from God and not from himself, God will not delude this person. If the person is not of good will and does not have true humility, this person will end up deluding himself now and for all eternity. No one goes to heaven by chance and no one goes to hell by chance. Do we truly mean and live the words of the Our Father: “THY will be done”, or do we live “MY will be done”, while saying all the right words?
God does not force anyone to spend eternity with him in heaven. In heaven there is room for one God, not two. If I command the truth, I cannot spend eternity with God. In hell everyone wants to command but only the strongest one ends up commanding all the rest, and his name is Satan. I prefer to spend eternity in a benevolent dictatorship than in a malevolent dictatorship.
Do not seek a perfect group or church. Jesus founded the Church with 12 sinners, the apostles, he did not found his Church with 12 perfect angels from heaven, or perfect men as I might be tempted to believe to be!

I totally agree with you. Often I wish that Satan and his very numerous followers would make more mistakes on this regard so it would be easier to see the truth and warn others.
But I also realize that also God allows it this way not only for our just punishment, but also so that no one chooses God only for his own personal selfish gain. Otherwise this would be like a man or woman staying with the wife or the husband as long as there is something in it for me. If we treat God this way, we cannot pretend to spend eternity with God.

I too, as you, will remain with Mary at the foot of the cross while the Body of Christ, the Church, is being crucified (CCC 677, ed. 1992, not ed. 2017!!!).

Having lived in the Southern Cone I do recall that the people there held the opinion that Spanish Jesuits (labeled, ‘always the last to learn’) brought Liberation Theology (a Marxism that had failed in Europe and was last to survive in Spain), to the region. They introduced so-called comunidades de base, or base communities, and eventually met strong resistance by indigenous Catholics who understood that the process would de-centralize the bishoprics and weaken the Church itself. For a time there was a real struggle for the hearts and minds of Catholics; no doubt one in which Bergoglio took part.

This is it, i’s a blip on the history of a 2000 year old church. Don’t worry, just continue on as intended. A lot of the posts against Francis are doing the Church harm rather than good.
I now spend more than 2 hours everyday before our Eucharistic Lord in church so as to prepare better for this “great tribulation” (Mt 24:21) in which we are the “generation” that Jesus referred to (Mt 24:34)!
