FULL TITLE: ABC Refuses to Apologize for Joy Behar Saying Mike Pence Has a Mental Illness Because Hes a Christian
It looks like ABC isnt going to apologize for The View co-host Joy Behars on-air mocking of Vice President Mike Pences Christian faith.
Many Christian viewers were offended by Behars remarks, and the TV network early on received 25,363 phone calls after the liberal comedian and commentator equated Pences faith with mental illness, Fox News reported.
Its one thing to talk to Jesus. Its another thing when Jesus talks to you, Behar said during the Feb. 13 episode of The View. Thats different, thats called mental illness.
Pence said he regretted that ABC would allow a forum to someone who would compare Christianity with mental illness.
When I heard that a program likened my Christianity to mental illness, I just couldnt be silent, Pence said in an interview with Fox News. It is simply wrong for ABC to have a television program that expresses that kind of religious intolerance.
It is a basic tenet of Christianity that Godin three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spiritspeaks to believers not only through the Bible but in their prayer lives and in ordinary circumstances.
Behars comment on The View aired the day before the Florida high school shooting, just after a clip from CBS Celebrity Big Brother featuring former White House staffer Omarosa Manigault Newman and her thoughts on Pence.

In the clip, Newman said that those hoping for President Donald Trumps impeachment should reconsider because of Pence.
I am Christian, I love Jesus, but he thinks Jesus tells him to say things, Newman said, referring to Pence.
Behar then equated Pences Christianity with mental illness, implying that the vice president hears voices in his head.
Joe Concha, media columnist for the Hill, said The View should come under ABC Entertainment, not ABC News, if the network is going to allow remarks such as Behars.
Its a pure opinion and infotainment program, and therefore should be under its entertainment division, Concha told Fox News.
Despite calls for her to apologize, Behar declined and said only that she was making a joke.
ABC did not respond to The Daily Signals request for comment.
Try to imagine the response if one of those nitwits had said Islam is a form of mental illness.
ABC is owned by Disney which also owns ESPN (anti-conservative and anti-Christian) and now wants Elsa to have a female love interest in Frozen 2
Boycott Disney.
Thank god there is nothing on ABC I want to watch. We need to boycott ABC’s sponsors. Anyone know who their biggest sponsor is?
Nothing surprising here from that beast and her stupid show. Screw ‘em
But, “Islam” is NOT a religion...it’s a political system
Serves them right for watching that crap. What'd they expect?
If ABC said that if he was a muzzie .....???
“Serves them right for watching that crap. What’d they expect?”
You have a point but how long would it take for ABC to apologize if she had insulted a muzzie?
Sweet! I think it’s great that the Dems feel comfortable enough to openly talk about their hatred of Christians and America...we just need to have the stones to call them on it come election season.
abc is firmly on the side of the left, which is atheistic, and which hates Christianity. Their goal is to eliminate Christianity and replace it with a filthy, throwback, disgusting, savage death cult.
Oprah just said today she would run for president if God tells her to.
Does Joy think Oprah has a mental illness?
I missed the Olympics because I won't watch NBC... no problem adding ABC to that list.
Dear Joyless:
Begone, thou scolding harridan!
There, I said it.

You're probably preaching "to the choir" here however, for the record, I couldn't agree more.
Liberal idiots such as Joy Behar do not tell jokes.
So when confronted, she said it was just a joke. Ya right.
Liberals idiots are serious about their intolerance of religious faith. Joy would never done about this. To her and her ilk, this is serious; their disdain for religion snd people of faith is well known.
They probably would apologize. The viewpoint of "The View" is basically to give the middle finger to Christians, conservatives and all right-thinking Americans. If they insulted a muzzie, they probably would instantly apologize because it would be out of character for the show and their target audience.
The stooge show Moe winks.
