Please don’t misrepresent my posts.

Why not?

You have misrepresented so much of Christianity!

...and no one church has a monopoly on truth or love.

Now you should KNOW just how much that hurts some of our rabid Catholics on FR.

Won’t it be a trip, to see the Catholics in Heaven, being required to sit next to Martin Luther for all eternity? I wouldn’t miss it for the world. 😀😄😆

You think THAT's bad!?!

How would you like to be a Mormon; and KNOW; from your churches teachings; that MOST of you will be on the same level of 'heaven' with Baptists and Catholics?

FOREVER!!!

HEAVEN-The Mormon church teaches there are three levels of heaven (three "degrees of glory"):
Celestial - for Mormons who have kept ALL of the laws and ordinances of their church.
Terrestrial - for religious people who aren't Mormons and for Mormons who have not met the requirements of the Church.   <------ BINGO!!
Telestial - where unbelievers go

HELL: A place of torment from which the worst of sinners are resurrected (if they repent) into the Telestial kingdom; only a limited number remain in hell forever, - the devil and the demons and apostates who consciously reject and work against Mormonism.

The first burnings at the stake were done by Protestants in Calvinst Geneva.

Pardon?

Protestants were in Geneva in 1520.

Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake in 1431.

Jan Hus was burned in 1415.

So you claim to be wrong but actually right.

Calvin and Leo X would both be proud of you.

I merely countered a list of bad popes with a list of exampls of my own.

Why did you feel a need to 'counter'?

The One True Church should have NEVER had any problems to begin with!

Saying; "They did it too!!" is a bit after the fact.

No; you can't.

Are homo weddings and Christian’s analogous?
The former needs more visits to proctologists.
While homo’s clothes are so pretty;
Their couplings are quite....
And the results only fit for a sarcophagus.

I will remove it. But, I would not call it intellectualizing. I do call it adhering to the letter of the law in violation of the spirit of the law. Or as Charlie Brown would say, “Good Grief!” My apologies, not to you, but to St. Augustine. So much for this being an intelligent website.

Not true. The Church is a human institution.

——since he is expressing beliefs that are opposite to Bible teachings?——
Bibical Teachings?
Since Catholics believe all sorts of extra bibical teaching, why can’t homosexuals have the same sanctification in marriage as a man and women?

The Church is a human institution.
= = =

Maybe not.

Ecclesia, the called-out ones, translated as Church sometimes.

That is not a human institution.

But, the Catholic “Church”, or the many Denominations ... yeah, they are human institutions.

You miss the point entirely. But, since my posts in this thread were removed simply because I had a Latin quotation of St. Augustine in the tagline, I don’t expect you to be able to follow my train of thought. To be censored for quoting St. Augustine? It’s like the First Amendment applies everywhere except at Free Republic.
