I found it interesting that during Shavout, the Book of Ruth was read - https://blog.israelbiblicalstudies.com/holy-land-studies/read-ruth-pentecost/

It seems to foreshadow the inclusion of Gentiles, as is the case of the church.

Joining in prayer, left that other site, for the Peace of Jerusalem.

The Book of Ruth is very appropriate for Shavuot,m as the command to allow widows to glean the fields is right here in Leviticus 23! :-)
