Prayed for The Father to put His loving hands on the situation and give your daughter ease - and healing if it is in His plan. Also asked him to give you the wisdom and strength to ask help - not just of Him but of your fellows because it gives others an opportunity to provide good works...may He provide many blessings in your hard times.

Heavenly Father, Your Word says we have not because we ask not so, right now, we boldly but humbly come before Your throne of grace and ask you to heal firebrand's daughter and bring peace and comfort to both of them. Make Your presence real to them. They are not going through this situation alone. You are with them. Jesus is with them. The Holy Spirit is with them. Be whatever they need You to be. We ask this in the name of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen and shalom.

I am at the hospital now and she is too ill for me to take care of, so I am petrified about what I will do if they release her. Thank you to the person who suggested a rehab home.
Boulder City Hospital is tiny and I doubt that they have much social service staff, if any. Las Vegas itself I’m sure has lots. That’s what I need.
Will talk to the doctor as soon as possible and update you all. You are my family and I am so grateful.

Further update: My daughter has been getting stronger, with the good care of Boulder City Hospital. It turns out, though, that what happens when you are released from a hospital varies state by state, and Nevada has no legal obligation to help you if you are unable to help yourself. Or it is at least much more difficult to prove that you need the help than it is in California, NY, NJ, Virginia, etc.
All I was given was a list of Clarke County services, all back in Las Vegas, which Julia has left because of the vibe there. It is much quieter here, and in fact a cabbie told me Boulder City is considered the safest city in America. But Vegas has the services, because it needs them.
Just keep praying if you have the desire to. I am stymied and don’t know what I will do if they release her today (Saturday). I can’t take care of her myself, if she would even consent to move back to my apartment.

I think they are OK but we are not there. My cousin was a social worker executive there for many years and I’m sure she would help with that if we were there.
