Excuse me if I offend, but I am clueless as to why anyone wants to be Catholic or stay Catholic. Catholicism is corrupt. Someone, please educate me.
Well. You could have saved yourself alot of time by just posting that you are an apologist for the Catholic church because that is what your post means.
“Excuse me if I offend, but I am clueless as to why anyone wants to be Catholic or stay Catholic. Catholicism is corrupt. Someone, please educate me.”
Yes, Dave.
Here is the lesson:
You are a bigot.
The Catholic church is effectively an anti-white, racist organization.

These leftie idiots never apologize.
I’m not grasping at anything. . .I’m not familiar with your catholic lingo. IMHO this man needs to be replaced as well as some preachers out there.
Call me a bigot if you want, and I don't care, but the truth is the truth.
And especially considering these remarks were made about the only President to ever attend the Pro Life March.
OK, you are a bigot and a liar.
In fact, I think Time named Martin Luther the Person of the Millennium - the most consequential person of the last 1,000 years...wow. Have you read how Martin Luther had to flee for his life in fear of the Church?
These are facts, not beliefs.
It is one thing to stand by your church and admit that it has short comings, issues, problems and corruption - after all it is run by mere mortals, but another to pretend it is perfect.
Hey, Protestant churches aren't perfect and I don't have that expectation because mere mortals aren't perfect. But that doesn't mean I quit being a Protestant because those denominations have issues and problems.
I do respect you being a Catholic, but don't pretend it is perfect, because it is not - far from it.
Whoopee!
Time also named Hussein Obama Person of the Year twice and just last last year named Greta Thunberg Person of the Year.
You may not like him but you can't deny his influence to this very day. Protestant churches just recognized the 500th anniversary of the Reformation a few years ago, with many having special services and some have started an annual tradition.
Luther was good for the Catholic church, too. He helped rid it of some of the corruption - such as paying for indulgences.
Martin Luther, I'm sure has a special place in heaven
I've never denied Luther's evil influence on Christendom.
