12,000 from the tribe of Joseph
12,000 from the tribe of Manasseh

One might ask since Joseph had 2 sons, Ephraim and Manasseh, and Manasseh is listed having 12,000, just who is included in the 12,000 of Joseph in Revelation 7 if it is not Ephraim?

Just an observation.

There are those here who consider themselves to be very astute regarding God's word, but this will challenge them to such depths that they will be unable to even aknowledge the existance of the thread. Amillenialism is a theology built upon unbelief, rather than belief. As such, things that cannot be answered by their doctrine must be viewed as spiritual 'traps' to be avoided.

Amen!

It is the rejection of the fact that God is not done with the Jew.

Paul calls those who believe that 'wise in their own conceit' (Rom.11:25)

Joseph takes the place of the name of Ephraim.

Thus, the tribe that came from Joseph (Ephraim) returns to him because of Ephraim's sin (Hosea 4:17)

  Hbr 10:8   Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and [offering] for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure [therein]; which are offered by the law;

  Hbr 10:9   Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.

You make the word of God of no account..
