Within the margin of error, as these early polls of Republican frontrunners always are. Interestingly,
while Sarahcuda’s favorable rating among Republicans remains dramatically higher than either Mitt’s or Huck’s (partly due to the fact that she’s much better known), she can’t put any daylight between herself and them as a choice for the nomination. And then there’s this:

(CNN) — Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee has a warning for Sarah Palin: Don't abandon the Republican Party. The former presidential candidate and potential future White House rival of Palin's said Tuesday he's concerned about speculation the Alaska governor may leave the GOP to become an independent. I
hope she remains — let me be real clear — a part of the Republican Party," Huckabee told FOX News. "I'm a little concerned when I hear her say that she may sort of branch out and go third party or go independent. That would be a big mistake because we need...

Here is video of Gov. Mike Huckabee on with Greta Van Susteren last night talking about the Op-Ed Gov. Sarah Palin wrote in the Washington Post yesterday about Obama's "Cap and Trade" Bill. Palin blasted the bill as a destroyer of America's economy and a huge tax increase on the American people.
Toward the end of the video, Huckabee says he hopes Palin will stay in the Republican Party and help rebuild it rather than going "third party" or "independent." . . . . (Watch Video)

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Former Arkansas Gov. and Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee says Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin's decision to resign is surprising — but he refuses to criticize her. In
Oklahoma City on Sunday Huckabee said Palin is still a strong candidate for the White House in 2012. Huckabee is also considered one of the contenders for the Republican presidential nomination in 2012. Huckabee says he was "very surprised" by Palin's decision but that it could turn out to be the best move for her. Huckabee also said he was stunned by South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford's sex scandal...

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, considered one of the leading GOP contenders in the 2012 presidential sweepstakes, said Sunday that Sarah Palin remains a strong candidate for the White House despite her stepping down as Alaska’s governor at the end of this month. But
another possible presidential contender, South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, likely doomed his chances because of his romantic escapades. Huckabee, who came in second during Oklahoma’s 2008 GOP presidential primary, said Palin’s decision to resign with 18 months left in her term is unusual. "She has had a very different kind of approach in direction and I’m...

Here is video in two parts of Karl Rove and Mike Huckabee on Fox News Sunday, July 5, 2009, reacting to Gov. Sarah Palin's Resignation as Alaska Governor. They were also joined by Alaska Lt. Gov. Parnell, who will become Governor when Palin leaves office on July 26. Rove
believes Palin has hurt herself with the resignation, and Huckabee thinks it is a very risky move. Huckabee believes she has now opened herself to the attack that if she can't handle the political attacks as Governor and stick it out, how could she handle the Presidency? . . . ....

Huckabee has tough talk for Palin

Politico ^

Mike Huckabee, himself once an object of significant media attention, has always chafed a bit at Sarah Palin's rise. And
in two different bytes on "Fox News Sunday" today he didn't mince words about her decision to resign. "In a primary this is going to be an issue she'll have to face. Will she be able to withstand the pressure?" he asked. And, referring to the ethics inquiries Palin faces, Huckabee said of his own time as a GOP governor in an overwhelmingly Democratic state:"If that had been the case for me, I would've quit in my first month. If...

Signaling wider dissensions in the Republican ranks, former Arkansas governor and presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is slamming the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) for endorsing Gov. Charlie Crist over another, more conservative Republican in Florida’s open Senate race. Huckabee
announced his official support for former state House Speaker Marco Rubio (R) in a video Tuesday. He follows Sen. Jim DeMint, R-S.C., in support of Rubio, a popular Cuban-American conservative from South Florida. “I’m disgusted that they would take a position in a hotly contested race when you have a quality candidate like Marco Rubio, who was the youngest Speaker in...

Mike Huckabee Blasts False Notion That Common Ground Exists in Abortion Debate
|

Life News ^
| 6/22/09 | Steven Ertelt
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- In an interview with Jon Stewart of the "Daily Show" on Comedy Central last week, former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee blasted the false notion that common ground exists in the abortion debate. The
notion that there is common ground on killing children and hurting women has been repeatedly taken to task by pro-life advocates. Huckabee said that abortion advocates don't want to give an inch in the abortion debate by accepting even modest limits on abortion such as parental notification, which would allow parents to know when their daughters are considering the life-altering decision. Stewart talked...
