For all of you guys and gals who like to read books about WWII or submarines, let me tell you about my cousin Steven M. Wilson. He has written two books, the first is the "Voyage of the Gray Wolves", the second book is "Between the Hunter and the Hunted".
No, I haven't read them yet but am waiting for them to arrive. From what everyone has told me that has read them, they are really good.
Just read the reviews at Amazon. It's probably out of print but you can buy a used copy that will be well worth the price .
They are just stories and very well researced and written. You may find information about the at Amazon.com.
Being bored after 28 years of body/paint work,I like to build things from scratch. In the last few years,I have been doing research on how to build a sub.I just want to see what is down there.Mainly lakes and such.
That should be an interesting hobby.
I have just finished reading my cousins books they are pretty good. Would definitely appeal more to men than women, but are still good.
The breathing situation I havnt quite figured out.The internet is just amazing as to what info you can on the subject.I was planning on making it a multi-use vehicle. One for my curiosity, and one for the possible recovery of sunken boats,in many north countries, snowmobiles that have fallen through, etc.More or less, tag them with a balloon, and use a surface vehicle for recovery.A large pontoon barge, modified of course.Just thoughts for now. If and when i build it,I want to make sure there are no flaws!I have NO plans for real deep water.50-60 ft is fine with me.
