are acknowledged, affirmed and commemorated.
| Our Mission:
The FReeper Foxhole is dedicated to Veterans of our Nation's military forces and to others who are affected in their relationships with Veterans.
In the FReeper Foxhole, Veterans or their family members should feel free to address their specific circumstances or whatever issues concern them in an atmosphere of peace, understanding, brotherhood and support.
The FReeper Foxhole hopes to share with it's readers an open forum where we can learn about and discuss military history, military news and other topics of concern or interest to our readers be they Veteran's, Current Duty or anyone interested in what we have to offer.
If the Foxhole makes someone appreciate, even a little, what others have sacrificed for us, then it has accomplished one of it's missions.
We hope the Foxhole in some small way helps us to remember and honor those who came before us.
Memorial Day 2008
Cool. It’s a shame we missed you but you were barely here long enough. This project is in high gear and no one can take any time off.
R/C Ping for Y’all, article about the A-10 that flew in the TopGun R/C competition this year.
In best Arnie Johnson voice “Veerryyy interesting”
Hubby says, “Thanks for the heads up.”
It must be nice to have a few bucks that you don’t need>
I wish I was in that spot:-)
I hear ya. The Hobbit Lass keeps us broke.
Bittygirl applies some ceiling finish before it goes in.
Family projects are the best PE !
Great posts !
you going to finish the exterior of that tear drop with polished aluminum for an airstream look or just paint ?
The sides are red oak and will be varnished.
For the outer roof, I haven’t quite decided yet. Either aluminum or a vinyl used for tonneau covers.
Wow! It is really taking shape now, the wood looks beautiful.
Lookin good there PE. Hopefully the September debut will be a success
Red oak varnished finish gets my vote ! Good job !
All fun !
Family projects rock! I don’t know what I’d do without my “crew”! :-)
It’s coming together quickly. Only doors and the galley left for major assemblies.
There’s a Scout campout in Sept. Don’t know the final date yet, but I’m hoping we’re the talk of the campground.
Might get mom, or dad and two kids. If we all go, it’ll be girls in the tear and guys in the tent.
Still gonna be fun !
Stay safe !
Gosh I just love that!!! Isn't that the most awesome thing? :-D
I spent 2 weeks in Alabama with my oldest daughter (she's 32 now) and the grandkids. The first week I was keeping the grandkids while daughter and s-i-l had an "adult" mini-vacation. Wouldn't ya know it, the 10 year old granddaughter came in to sit on the bed with me and talk at night. It was so cool. Just little girl chitchat. "What was life like when you were my age?" "What was my mom like when she was a girl?" "Black and white TV?!?!?! How could you see things?!?!?"
Aren't those nighttime talks wonderful? Whether it's dates, teenage social things, little girl things, I don't care what the topic I just love those times. :-)
I miss seeing you too. I think of you more than you probably expect. It was so wonderful to see that photo of Hobbit Lass. I've cared for her and prayed for her through things and it was nice to see her so beautiful at a special time in her life. My life has changed so much in the last 3 years. I would never have anticipated these changes as they are but it's wonderful and fulfilling. I wouldn't have thought of myself doing without my cyber-friends for such long periods of time. Now, I have home-town friends that I see almost every day and that too is wonderful in a totally All-American way. Life is good but I still love the opportunities to see all the old friends here. HUGS!!!
That would be fun!!! Dunno if I could be free to fly off for such things anymore but I loved moots!!!
Golly! Ya’ll are gonna be able to take that little trailer for a moot soon. Hmmmmm......
door foxhole is always open! Y'all come!
