No Ifs, ands, or buts: Govt. says it didn't implant device in reputed Mobster

Associated Press
6/16/99 AP

WORCESTER, Mass. -- Reputed mobster Vincent "Gigi Portalla" Marino for years claimed that surgery to remove a bullet from his buttocks also included an unwelcome addition: a federal tracking device.

After a judge issued an order to reveal the truth, the region's top federal law enforcement official said Tuesday that agents never went that far.

"We can confirm that the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration did not implant a tracking device in defendant Vincent M. `Gigi Portalla' Marino's buttocks," U.S. Attorney Donald Stern said in a statement. "But we cannot speak, however, for any extraterrestrial beings. I hope that this will finally put the matter behind us."

Marino had claimed that he was once asked by a DEA agent to sign a form so the government could remove the device from his body.

On Monday, U.S. District Judge Nathaniel Gorton said the situation "sounds like some DEA agent trying to be funny," but he granted Marino's request to force the government to tell him the truth.

Defense lawyer Robert Sheketoff said Stern's statement probably met the requirements of the judge's order, but he was still skeptical.

"The bottom line is if the government did this, I'd be surprised if they admitted it," he said. "I'm not saying they did. I have no way of knowing." He suggested Marino should get an MRI (magnetic resonance imaging) scan.

Gorton's order came during a hearing in preparation for a racketeering trial scheduled to start in the fall. Marino and six other defendants are accused of waging a murderous battle to seize control of the New England Mafia. Marino is in prison awaiting trial.

In 1996, Marino was caught in a hail of gunfire at a club in Revere. He was shot in the buttocks.

For education and enlightenment purposes only.

This would seem to be of interest to some here.

Does anybody know the results of any MRI scan of Timothy McVeigh's buttock where he said the military had implanted a computer/tracking chip?

cross-ref to "Microchip Implants are Here", by Chuck Baldwin, found at Lucianne.com site today. This is old news - but the day when you and I are required to get it is not far away....

ALSO read the "'Tag Your Child' Plans Attacked"article from The Guardian (U.K) that can be reached through WorldNetDaily.com....the technology has been here - for years, as I've researched the matter for years, personally.

Jon Daugherty of World Net Daily begins: "Researchers say the technology is currently available to implant biometric devices in human beings, which can be monitored by government satellites and utilized by private industry. In fact, some developers are currently attempting to bring the technology to the public and private sector. Though not yet generally available to the public, sub-skin implants have been underway for nearly a year." (MY note: it's been going on ferociously for at least the past 8 years).

In a latter instance, The London Times reported in October of l988, '...Film stars and the children of millionaires are among people...who have been approached and fitted with the chips (called the"Sky Eye") in secret tests'..'Critics, however, are worried about the increased support such devices are receiving because of the inherent risk to individual privacy. They contend that several governments, including the US, possess the ability to monitor such devices and, as a consequence, the people who have them --even though they may not be wanted for a crime, listed as a missing person, or considered dangerous in any way.." Visit World Net Daily for the conclusion of the article. Remember: the best defense is a good offense. Keep up to date with these articles, friends, and reprint them here for our knowledge... thanks...because this method of people-control WILL be instituted, first voluntarily, then mandatory.. the only question is when.

Why should anyone belive the government when they won't even give a straight answer.

If this weren't a Clinton appointee, I'd be laughing. However, Parse-O-Matic: ON

Translation option 1: The DEA didn't implant it, the doctor did.

Translation option 2: The implant is in the lower back or upper thigh, not in the buttocks per se.

Translation option 3: Doctor Pulver, the surgeon on duty, placed the device in Mr. Marino's Butox, not his buttocks.

I had a chip planted in my buttock, in case of emergency. It's a Cool Ranch Dorito, and I pray to God I never have to use it.

Very interesting post…congratulations on your never-ending quest to be the leader of the 'kook patrol' on this forum. I used to believe in more conspiracy theories than Oliver Stone until you set me straight.

I'm surprised that you are capable of doing this yourself without the assistance of your old 'tag-team' partner, Quidnunc. Does he still coach you from the wings or are finally confident enough to try this on your own?

d,

Just for that: BTTT!

I never realized quidnunc had such a FR-wide rep. He sure was entertaining...in a much better way than quidam.

The chips are here. My Husky has one smack between his shoulder blades for identification. The only problem is, every time I use the remote to change the TV channel he pisses the floor. Just kidding. Although I do wish they would develop one with a mute option for my wife.

The chip technology is there and our pets have been the guinea pigs. What is next our kids? Us?

We have to get to the BOTTOM of this. Sorry, couldn't pass up the pun.

Implant in your butt bump.

Any personal tales you all can tell re: implant chip? The more (truthful, factual) knowledge that is disseminated, the better. Certainly the Pres, wife and Chelsea have 'em - it only makes sense....plus many others. This is not the mark of the beast - but the chip implants WILL be the method employed once the 'mark' is made mandatory in order to buy, sell or exist. Info, anyone?
