The Clinton administration's secret Ron Brown death chronology is marked "Confidential" for good reason -- as you are about to learn. The 15 page secret file catalogues reports form the crash site as information became known and was transmitted to the Commerce Department. These pages reveal a contemporaneous record at sharp variance with the official version of events on several key points.
The confidential Ron Brown crash file was relased two weeks ago exclusively to NewsMax.com by Judicial Watch, the only legal entity still investigating Brown's role in the Clinton administration's fundraising scandal. Since our initial reports, no other media outlet has dared pursue this story.
Judge for yourself whether these documents are as important as NewsMax.com thinks they are. Here are just a few highlights:
Three separate Croatian sources report that Brown's plane crashed into the Adriatic Sea -- page 2.
U.S. and Croatian officials say wreckage had been located in the water and that Naval Search and Rescue Operations had commenced -- page 3.

This airplane was previously toting the Worst Lady's fat butt around. There is absolutely no chance that this 737 did not have both black boxes. It would be the only 737 in the world without boxes.
What always bothered me, too, was the gal that survived only to die later on the way to the hospital. She walked out of the crash site, but her family was told not to view the body and to have a closed casket ceremony. The coroners who saw her body said there would have been no reason for a closed-casket. Maybe her parents would like a little more information. Any follow-up with them?
I spotted some information on the woman pilot who died in Colombia and was a "stealth" casualty as far as the press and the Clinton Administration were concerned. Glad to see that "outed" although I missed most of the interview.

Documents Reveal Two May Have Survived Initial Impact of Ron Brown Plane Crash
Confidential Commerce Department documents obtained by Judicial Watch and shared exclusively with Inside Cover reveal that two people aboard Commerce Secretary Ron Brown's death plane may have survived its initial impact into a Croatian mountainside three years ago.
Within days of Brown's April 3, 1996 death, it was known that one passenger, Tech. Sgt. Shelly Kelly, was still alive when rescuers first reached the crash site. Kelly is said to have died while enroute to a Dubrovnik hospital some 11 hours after Brown's plane went down.
But news that another passenger may have been spotted alive could have startling implications. Questions raised by four senior military doctors in 1997 suggest that Brown himself may not have died from injuries sustained in the crash - opening the possibility that the Clinton cabinet official could have been the mystery survivor.
The document, labeled "A Chronology of Events as Logged by Personnel at Embassy Zagreb in Connection with Secretary Brown's Plane Crash," was prepared for then-Secretary of State Warren Christopher. The log offers a minute by minute history of information from the crash site as it became known.
At 8:25pm local time, Wednesday April 3, the first fatalities were recovered, according to the log:
"Croatian President Tudjman announced on television that the plane had crashed on St. John's Mountain and the search and rescue operations had so far found two bodies."
The log notes that another four bodies had been located in the next 25 minutes. The first report of survivors came at 8:58pm:
"Commerce Dept. has heard from Advance Ira Sokowitz in Sarajevo that two individuals have been recovered alive from the crash. No confirmation at this time."
Croatian rescuers reached the site while Tech. Sgt. Kelly was still alive, but U.S. personnel did not arrive for another seven hours, nearly an hour after she expired. Her cause of death has alternately been attributed in published reports to a broken neck and blood loss from a severed leg artery.
Before Judicial Watch released the confidential log to Inside Cover, there had been no suggestion from any official source that Kelly was not the only survivor.
Complicating the question of whether others besides Kelly had survived the crash is this notation, made the next day, Thursday, 1:40pm:
"After the investigation is completed, the bodies will be removed to a temporary morgue at Dubrovnik Airport....There is ongoing concern over discrepancy. The manifest shows 35 names and they only have 33 bodies. It is unclear whether this includes woman removed who died on the way to the hospital."
Even if Sgt. Kelly's remains were left out of the count, adding her name to the list makes only 34. Who was the 35th? And why wasn't this body included among those counted at the crash site?
When Secretary Brown's body arrived at Dover Air Force Base on April 6, it was examined by members of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. Navy Chief of Forensic Photography Kathleen Janoski first noticed what she said looked like a bullet hole on top of Brown's skull. Three senior pathologists also observed the gunshot-like wound and recommended that Brown's body be autopsied. All four were overruled by their superiors.
The cause of Brown's head wound has never been determined. Some have speculated that Brown was shot at the crash site by local looters, who would have had run of the scene for four hours while European and American search and rescue teams looked for plane wreckage at sea. Unholstered weapons were later recovered amidst the crash debris.
Could the missing 35th body have been Ron Brown's?
The Clinton Justice Department refused to open a probe into Brown's death, despite pleas from then-Congressional Black Caucus chairwoman Maxine Waters, NAACP cheif Kweisi Mfume and Rainbow Coalition leader Jesse Jackson.
Brown's daughter Tracey complained in 1998 that the Air Force probe into her father's death was woefully inadequate. "The investigation into my father's plane crash - the Air Force wrapped up in six weeks," Brown said, after noting that the TWA 800 crash probe remained open two years later. Still, she remains convinced that her father died as a result of injuries sustained when his plane went down.
Ms. Brown's concern about a rushed investigation is borne out by the Commerce Department's secret chronology. At 1:40pm Thursday, the day after the crash, this notation appears:
"Identification will take up to 24 hours. Departure of remains for U.S. forecast at earliest Saturday evening."
But unidentified officials in Washington wanted the bodies of Brown and the others returned ASAP. At 3:25am Saturday the log notes:
"Mark Post called to apprise that Washington now wants a 12:45 pm departure."
Five hours later, the log reports:
"Washington adamant on 5 pm arrival at Dover."
On Wednesday, less than an hour after the report of two survivors, secrecy seems to have become a priority. At 9:40 pm the log reports:
"Poloff Hovenier called to relay strong request from [Deputy Secretary of State] Strobe Talbott that HRT TV team in Dubrovnik not film at crash site. DCM called State Protocol Chief Misetic who said he was already trying to get in touch with the team to stop it."
The log also raises new questions about official denials that Brown's CT-43 plane was equipped with a black box. A notation made at 9:50 am Thursday, buried amidst a host of otherwise mundane scheduling details, suggests otherwise:
"Chief of protocol Misetic called. President Tudjman will chair a GOC commemoration ceremony this evening at 2030. He would like Ambassador Galbraith to join. Expects Prime Minister Matesa to fly back this afternoon. Ambassador could accompany. The flight data recorder has been recovered. Reports from GOC medical personnel at site said that bodies have not been destroyed."
Judicial Watch, a Washington based public interest law firm, is currently the only legal entity investigating Commerce Secretary Brown's role in the Clinton administration's fund-raising scandal and related matters.

I've seen the passenger list from this flight, but I'd be interested to see the lists from the previous group of flights to see if there were any frequent fliers who were smart enough to have declined to make this particular trip.
Some have speculated that Brown was shot at the crash site by local looters,
When this story broke many moons ago, FR thought was that "rescuers" had determined R Brown was still alive and popped him in the head.
Now we read that "local looters" killed R Brown who had survived the crash.
Boy, this BS only took them how many years to spin?
Local looters would most likely not carry a .45.
That would be Shelly Kelly. The story on her has been a mess from the beginning. It has been reported that:
a) she was found not only alive but moving about the crash site
b) she died of a broken neck aboard a plane en route to the hospital
c) she died en route from bleeding from a severed femoral artery
How could she move around on St. John's Mountain if her neck was broken? If her neck wasn't broken in the crash, when did it get broken, and how? How could she move around with severe arterial bleeding?
The Dept. of Commerce information further complicates the picture:

4:00 PM -- Planes crashes
9:00 PM -- Croatian personnel arrive at crash site
3:00 AM -- Shelly Kelly dies en route to hospital
4:00 AM -- U.S. personnel arrive at crash site
Considering the time and injury information together, here are some of the conclusions one could draw:
1. Kelly remained alive and mobile at the crash site, unassisted, for 5 hours, despite a broken neck/severe arterial bleeding/both.
2. After surviving serious injuries alone and remaining mobile for 5 hours (while exposed to "stormy" weather, remember), Kelly remains alive for another 6 hours, with assistance, and then dies from a broken neck/severe arterial bleeding/both before reaching the hospital.
3. No official U.S. ground personnel witnessed Kelly's condition prior to her evacuation and death.
4. Kelly was debriefed, then murderdd, en route to the hospital.
How could she move around with severe arterial bleeding?
How could she survive for more than a few minutes with a severed femoral artery?
I remember distinctly that someone, on FR, who represented themselves as a Boeing engineer, posted or linked the actual paperwork showing that a black box had, in fact, been installed on this plane. Does anyone else remember this?
This would corroborate [and explain] the rumor of the plane's hull being inexplicably 'clean' after it had crash-landed on land; rather, that it--in fact--had actually had an unscheduled stop in the ocean.

Once she was alone in the back of that gurney with no other witnesses...not long.
Really. If you were a looter, would you climb around on a mountain, in failing light, after the "storm of the decade", to scrabble through a crash site full of dead and mangled bodies? And if you did and found two people alive, would you still have a look around? There are easier ways.

And would looters leave their guns at the crash site? If they hadn't brought their own, they surely would have taken what was there.
Did no one report a surprising number of bulls on the mountain that night?

The AFIP officer who took the photograph of Ron Brown's x-rays and bullet wound (Kathleen Janowski) said she believes Sgt. Kelly died of a broken neck, that she wasn't moving around at the crash site, and that the femoral artery rumor was probably started because someone got confused about the embalming process, or something.
At any rate, it is true that she was alive for quite awhile, even if her neck was already broken, then died en route to the hospital.
The big question is: who was the other survivor, and if they want to say they were mistaken, and there was only one survivor, how the heck did they mistake one for two?
The severed artery 'event' reportedly occurred in the ambulance on the way to the hospital. Nicholas Guarino in his "Wall Street Underground" report about the crash from several years ago stated she was murdered by special forces riding along with her.
This is just a stellar example of what drives me nuts about the Vince Foster/Ron Brown orthodoxies in the press. There are numerous discrepancies in both cases that absolutely jump off the pages at me, yet I'm some kind of nut for pointing them out. There is absolutely NO WAY that someone could survive more than an hour with a severed femoral artery - yet the press simply reports the cause of death and slimes anyone who questions the disconnect between the cause of death and the fact that the victim survived as long as she did. We've become the new heretics.

You see, calling us Right Wingers is a lie. We are not. We are Radicals. And what are they? Heretics. We are anyone who resents and resists reality painted for us by the Establishment; and the more wizened of us have climbed out of the box, the Dem vs. Pubbie paradigm. If a plane were to crash on land, whether in dry or wet weather, its hull would be dirty. Brown's plane was said not to indicate that type of crash; that is, that it had crashed in water not on land. See?
While Guarino's report was terrific, and he unquestionably had inside sources, I heard the rumor of the plane crashing in water elsewhere--but didn't know which to buy, Guarino's version or the other. But in reading this posted article, it 'seems' to confirm the plane had in fact crashed in water.

And moved to the mountain, or was never on the mountain? Aren't there pictures of crash site?
I find it hard to believe that in the course of, say six or so hours, Croatia could have mustered the equipment to salvage the wrecked airliner from the water and transport it to its mountaintop resting place. And in stormy weather to boot. That would be one heck of an operation.
I do not have either a link or a url for it. A hardcopy was given to me about two or so years ago. Its formal title is: "MURDER IN THE FIRST DEGREE: An Interim Report on the Death of Commerce Secretary Ron Brown and 34 Other United States Citizens," by Nicholas Guarino of the Wall Street Underground. It is 38 pages long and dated 5/14/96. There is an address provided: 1129 East Cliff Road, Burnsville, Minnesota 55337.
While I don't have a url for it, that's not to say it isn't on the net; I just have no idea whether it is.
As LSJohn says, how do we know it was ever on a mountaintop? Recollect it was this same media who told us the crash occurred in the midst of the worst storm in a decade, only later to be proven by weather reports to be a full-blown lie. So: who's to say it didn't go down in shallow water? After all, from this post it indicates there were quite possibly two survivors, so something prevented it from being a complete disaster. Maybe the pilot was attempting to ease it on up to the beach from the water.
And no, the Guarino Report has no pictures.

Thanks to the internet, information is available from a variety of
media sources around the world that brings to light profound truths
that would otherwise be completely repressed. One example of this is
the case to be made that TWA Flight #800 was shot down by a missile,
either by terrorists or by friendly fire from a U.S. naval vessel.
Another example of the revelatory power of the internet, which is
yet to gain widespread attention in the major media, is evidence that
the Clinton administration is responsible for, wittingly or not,
extensive Chinese economic espionage in Washington and, in association
with this, the death/murder of Commerce Secretary Ron Brown.
Ron Brown was killed in what the world was told was an
"accidental" plane crash in Croatia on April 3rd of this year. The
circumstances surrounding the plane crash were, to say the least,
suspicious. Something that struck me as somewhat unbelievable at the
time was that the military plane the U.S. Commerce Secretary had gone
down in lacked the all-important "Black Box" to determine precisely
what caused the plane to crash. That same plane had carried Hillary
and Chelsea Clinton and Defense Secretary William Perry just the week
before and all planes that carry U.S. government officials are
required to have a Black Box. Thus, it is difficult, if not
impossible, to believe the plane that went down in Croatia killing
Commerce Secretary Ron Brown did not have a Black Box. Thus, there is
strong evidence suggesting a cover-up of the fatal plane crash. Ron
Brown's plane my have been brought down intentionally.
Why, however, would anyone target U.S. Commerce Secretary Ron
Brown in such an elaborate way? In the wake of one of the newest
Clinton scandals, the answer appears to be coming to light.
Going into the election, controversy emerged surrounding the
"Lippo Group", an Indonesian conglomerate that had been making huge
and likely illegal contributions to the Clintons. It turns out that
the Lippo Group was likely a front for China:
In what appears to have been a classic espionage operation
launched days after Clinton was elected in November 1992,
China Resources purchased at a discount a 15% share in the
Hong Kong Chinese Bank, which is owned by the Lippo Group, the
Indonesian conglomerate with close ties to Clinton.
Eight months later, after the Lippo Group had demonstrated
it had direct access to the Oval Office and was able to
influence American foreign policy, China Resources increased
its shareholding in the bank to 50%. This time, the Chinese
paid a 50% premium and gave Lippo a profit of about £12m. A
key figure in the affair is John Huang, a former Taiwanese air
force officer. Born in China, he joined the Hong Kong Chinese
Bank and in the mid-1980s moved to Little Rock, Arkansas,
helping to establish Lippo's operations in Arkansas and
getting to know Bill and Hillary Clinton well.
Now what's really remarkable is John Huang's connection to
Commerce Secretary Ron Brown:
In January 1994, on the personal instructions of Ron Brown,
the commerce secretary, Huang was given top-secret security
clearance without background checks by the FBI or the state
department's Office of Security- a strict requirement for
somebody born in a foreign country.
This gave him access to vital American intelligence. Six
months later, he was given a post in the commerce department
and went with Brown on a trade mission to Peking.
In the commerce department, Huang had access to much of the
intelligence delivered daily to the department by the CIA that
relates to economic and trade secrets gathered around the
world. He also received weekly intelligence briefings from
the CIA.
The implication of this information should be clear. Ron Brown
was integrally involved with helping a program of Chinese espionage in
Washington in order to line the coffers of the Clinton administration.
Clearly his knowledge on this score, which increasingly looked like it
might be devulged do to the growing possibility of Ron Brown's
indictment on other charges of corrupt activity, made the Commerce
Secretary a marked man. Consequently, he had to be silenced in a
manner that would appear to be "accidental"- especially since another
"Vince Foster"-style suicide would be too suspicious. Thus, the April
plane crash that took his life.

Chinese trade coup staggers US spy chiefs
PRESIDENT Bill Clinton may have been the victim of a massive Chinese
espionage operation intended to gather top-secret information on
American trade and economic policy, according to intelligence
officials and Republican sources.
The CIA and Congress have launched investigations into what appears to
have been a stunning intelligence coup by China. In a four-year
operation, Chinese agents were able to take advantage of lax security
procedures and a pattern of corruption in the Clinton administration
to get routine access for their friends and associates to the highest
levels of the administration, including the Oval Office.
In return, China was able to lobby for the retention of most favoured
nation status, worth billions of dollars a year to Peking, and have
advanced knowledge of America's negotiating positions in trade and
economic talks as well as access to trade deals subsidised by America.
"It's bad," said one intelligence source. "The Chinese have clearly
pulled off the kind of coup we would have loved to have done."
The operation will be the focus of an investigation by the House
oversight committee, expected when Congress resumes in January. A
dossier prepared for the committee details "People's Republic of China
Intelligence Penetration" of the Clinton administration.
The investigation is certain to destroy any vestige of "bipartisan co-
operation" that some Republicans and Democrats hoped to see in
Clinton's second term. Some Republicans believe that the evidence is
so damaging that senior administration officials are certain to be
indicted.
Fears of a Chinese intelligence scam stem from an investigation into
the millions of dollars the Democrats received in illegal campaign
contributions over the past four years. The Clinton administration
gave high-level access to donors to lobby officials and paid them off
with generous subsidised trade deals.
Until now, this has been regarded as an example of corruption in the
Clinton administration. Now it is suspected much more was involved and
that the First Bureau of the military intelligence department in
China, responsible for gathering intelligence abroad, was the big
winner.
Investigators are focusing on the Chinese Resources Bank, based in
Hong Kong and officially the commercial arm of China's ministry of
foreign trade and economic co-operation. However, according to western
intelligence sources, the bank is a front for Chinese intelligence.
"A vice-president of the China Resources Holding Company in Hong Kong
is traditionally a military case officer," said Nicholas Eftimiades, a
China specialist with the Defence Intelligence Agency. "This officer
coordinates the collection activities of other intelligence personnel
operating under [China Resources] cover."

HILLARY CLINTON was at the centre of a tightening net of scandal at
the White House last night even as she planned to launch a crusade of
self-redemption. A report in Washington claimed America's First Lady
had orchestrated an appointment at the Commerce Department for John
Huang, the controversial figure subsequently forced to resign his post
as a senior Democratic fundraiser.
Mr Huang's role at the government department remains shrouded in
mystery amid continuing Republican allegations that the former
executive of the Indonesian Lippo Group was part of a concerted effort
to influence trade policy in return for dubious contributions from
Asia to the Clinton campaign.
The White House said there was "no indication" that Mrs Clinton had
any hand in the appointment of Mr Huang as deputy assistant secretary
for international economic policy in 1994, but a department aide told
The Washington Times that the banker was not hired by Ron Brown, the
Commerce Secretary who died in a plane crash near the Croatian city of

"He was not Ron Brown's guy, and his presence caused intense
conflict," said the source. "Huang was carrying water for the White

"By the time Brown and Huang went to China in July 1994, there was
$5.5 billion (£3.3 billion) in deals ready to be signed," said a
Republican investigator. "Never in the history of America's trade
relations with China has so much been put together so fast."
In the commerce department, Huang had access to much of the
intelligence delivered daily to the department by the CIA that relates
to economic and trade secrets gathered around the world. He also
received weekly intelligence briefings from the CIA.
Shortly before joining the administration, Huang was given a $900,000
pay-off by the Lippo Group. However, he continued to keep in close
touch with Mochtar Riady, his former boss at the Lippo Group.
Huang was also busy as a fundraiser for the Democrats, generating $5m
in the past 12 months, including a $450,000 donation from Lippo. Some
of those donations were illegal and in the past month the Democrats
have returned $500,000.
In the past two years Huang has visited the White House about 70 times
and had several meetings with Clinton unprecedented access for a
relatively low-level official.
Riady himself made six trips to Washington in Clinton's first term and
met the president several times on each visit. In September 1995 Riady
and Huang met Clinton and pressed for the retention of China's most
favoured nation status.
At the least, the result of this lobbying appears to have been
sweetheart deals for Lippo involving billions of dollars, some of
which were under written by the US Export-Import Bank. At the same
time, Clinton softened his stance against Indonesia's labour practices
that had been attacked by Amnesty International.
"What you seem to have here is a classic intelligence operation that
took advantage of every opportunity presented," said one Republican
source. "For a relatively modest investment, a foreign government
gains access to the president, to lucrative trade deals and has a
direct influence on our foreign policy. Who could ask for more?"
The White House is worried. Officials privately are pointing the
finger at Brown, who was killed in an air crash earlier this year.
"It's clear that Brown was running an illegal operation," said one.
"But how do you vilify a dead man who's a hero to the Democratic
party?"

A Personal UPDATE Article
"From Over the Transom: Murder in the First Degree?"
On August 6, 1996, 16 officers were punished with official reprimands
and other non-criminal punishment incident to the death of Commerce
Secretary Ron Brown and 34 other Americans in the airplane crash near
Dubrovnik, Croatia.
The following article was excerpted from a private letter from
Nicholas A. Guarino, former TV Host of Commodities Week, former
Arkansas businessman, and editor of Wall Street Underground.
We submit it for your own evaluation.
Events at Cilipi Airport, Dubrovnik, Croatia, on the afternoon of
April 3, 1996:
2:10 Captain Amir Schic lands a twin-engine corporate jet carrying the
Croatian Prime Minister and the American Ambassador.
It is one of five planes to land routinely on Runway 12 in the hour
preceding the scheduled 3:00 arrival of IFOR-21, the Boeing T-43A,1
carrying Ron Brown and his entourage of American deal-makers.
2:15 Businessmen begin to straggle into the lobby, a few carrying
umbrellas to ward off the very light to moderate rain. They're early
because they're anxious to greet the 35 Americans who at this moment
are taking off from Tuzla, Bosnia, 130 miles to the northeast. It is
only a 45-minute flight. For those passengers it would usher in
eternity.
2:30: In the radio shack of the Cilipi Airport, Maintenance Chief Niko
Jerkuic, 46, nervously fiddled with the dials of his NonDirectional
Radio (NDR) beacon, the only instrument he has to guide approaching
planes.
In a couple of hours he will be a rich man, the two American
operatives told him, if he can quietly send IFOR-21 into Sveti Ivan
(St. John's Hill), one of the highest mountains in the area at 2400
feet. Jerkuic will simply shut his beacon down_at the same moment
that a decoy beacon is turned on by an American operative sitting near
the base of Sveti Ivan. This is an old trick dating back to pirate
days.
There are some broken clouds at 400 feet; the main cloud is at 2,000
feet. Sveti Ivan rises almost 400 feet into the overcast.
2:48 Captain Schic climbs to the control tower to give IFOR-21 a
friendly radio greeting and assurance that all is well. He describes
the Cilipi weather: visibility 8 kilometers (5 miles), winds still at
14 mph, all flights arriving normally.
Flying at about 10,000 feet and 40+ miles away, Co-captains Ashley J.
Davis, 35, and Tim Shafer, 33, thank Schic for his words of welcome.
These conditions are later described by Newsweek and others as "the
worst storm in years" with "visibility just 100 yards." This was
refuted by Aviation Week and the Air Force Accident Investigation.2
2:50 IFOR-21 reports in to Cilipi routinely. It is the last time their
voice is heard.
2:52 The main regional radar station loses IFOR-21 from its screen.
2:52 Jerkuic shuts down his NDR beacon; the decoy powers up.
2:54 At Kolocep Island, IFOR-21 is on course as it passes over
Cilipi's first beacon, 11.8 miles from the airport, and locks on to
the second and final beam that is being transmitted from Sveti Ivan.
This changes the plane's actual heading from 119¯ to 109¯, straight
into Sveti Ivan. The Cilipi control tower doesn't know the plane is
now off course: it has no radar.
2:56 The U.S. Air Force AWACS plane keeping track of air traffic in
the Bosnian conflict area loses track of IFOR-21 just after it passes
over Dubrovnik. Since it is less than a mile off course at this point,
no one on the AWACS notes anything wrong.
2:58 Aboard the plane, the klaxon of its ground-proximity warning
device suddenly blares, but the two or three seconds of warning arefar
too little. The plane crashes into the rocky hillside and explodes.
The tail section remains intact, but the rest of IFOR-21 and its
occupants are scattered over the hill. All 35 people aboard are dead
except for stewardess Shelly Kelly, who, riding in the tail, sustained
only minor cuts and bruises. So far.
3:18 U.S. authorities are notified that IFOR-21 is down, location
completely unknown. There will be 11 1/2 hours of confusion before
arriving at the scene.
4:00 In the Republic of South Africa, news reports say that an attempt
has been made on the life of Ron Brown's law partner, Tommy Boggs, by
unknown assailants in a staged car accident in Capetown. Later, Boggs
will refuse to discuss it.
Later that afternoon, Niko Jerkuic goes home to collect his reward. It
is to come three days later: a bullet through the chest, just shortly
before he is scheduled to be grilled by the U.S. Air Force accident
investigation team. A hit squad wraps his hand around the gun and
departs.
Like many of the White-water dead, Jerkuic is immediately labelled a
suicide even though there's no evidence. A chest wound is a rather
rare cause. The quick official reason given for bachelor Jerkuic's
death is despondence over romantic troubles. Neighbors and friends
deny this and agree that he was not depressed. Like many of his
friends who had survived the years of the Bosnian war, he was excited
that life was finally getting better.
7:20 Four hours and 20 minutes after the crash the first Croatian
Special Forces search party arrives on the scene and finds only Ms.
Kelly surviving. They call for a helicopter to evacuate her to the
hospital. When it arrives, she is able to get aboard without
assistance from the medics.
But Kelly never completes the short hop. She dies en route. According
to multiple reports given to journalist/editor Joe L. Jordan, an
autopsy later reveals a neat three-inch incision over her main femoral
artery. It also shows that the incision came at least three hours
after all her other cuts and bruises.
Further necropsies will not happen. Clinton has ordered the cremation
of all victims. It is hard to perform autopsies on ashes.
-Confusion or Coverup?-
None of the explanations advanced explain the impossibility of how two
experienced pilots, on a 45-minute flight, could follow an NDR beam
(accurate to within two feet at the landing point) and crash 1.6 miles
off course.
The official Air Force explanation is that the pilots set the compass
10¯ off course. That is unlikely. Pilots routinely set the compass
right before takeoff. If this explanation were correct, they would not
have been on course when they passed the first beacon, 11.8 miles from
the airport. Furthermore, they were flying on the NDR signal, not the
compass.
Another view is that a nasty crosswind "blew" the plane sideways. Not
credible: this would require a wind 90¯ off from the actual wind.
Blown off course 1.6 miles?
Most of the press and officialdom have blamed poor visibility to some
extent. To do this, they have to take the ferocity of the rainstorm
later that afternoon and evening and move it back in time to the crash
hour. Records show the weather from 2:54 to 2:58 PM was well within
the normal limits for the landing.3 And NDR beacons never get blown
off course.
Pilot fatigue and strain? Not likely on a 45-minute flight.
Equipment malfunction on a rickety old plane? IFOR-21 was the number
two plane in the White House fleet: in essence, Air Force Two. It had
carried Hillary and Chelsea Clinton and Defense Secretary William
Perry just the week before. Everything about the flight was checked
out and rehearsed a week in advance.
None of the "official" explanations hold water. All of them ignore the
fact that IFOR-21 did not simply stray off the path at the last
moment. It went straight as an arrow to its doom the moment it left
the Kolocep Island beacon and picked up the Cilipi beacon.
The problem had to be the Cilipi beacon which was shut down at the
right moment and a decoy beacon at Sveti Ivan turned on. Couldn't the
air traffic controller shed some light on things? Certainly. But now
he, too, has "committed suicide!"
The chief investigator for Pratt & Whitney happened to be at the Paris
Air Show on April 3. Since Pratt & Whitney always sends an
investigator when a plane powered by their engines has a mishap, the
man called his boss in America and was to be sent to the site.
As he was packing, however, his boss called back and said, "Don't go.
There's not going to be a safety investigation."
The Air Force had, for the first time in its history, canceled the
safety investigation of a crash on friendly soil. There would be a
token legal investigation to enable the assignment of blame and then
they'd go home.
-Where are the Black Boxes?-
Within hours of the crash, the Croatian Ministry of Transport
announced that they had the black boxes. One and half days after the
crash, Croatian TV (plus Russian and French TV) announced that the FDR
(flight data recorder) and the CVR (cockpit voice recorder) were
safely in the hands of U.S. Marines. The U.S. European Command in
Stuttgart, Germany, also stated that a black box was on board.
Later, the Pentagon brass stoutly disputed all this, stating that
there were no black boxes aboard. It is difficult to imagine that
America's #2 VIP plane had no black box. Veteran Air Force mechanics
claim that they never have seen a T-43A without a black box.
-Why Hit Ron Brown?-
Ron Brown was, by all accounts, just a charming fellow working very
hard to promote U.S. business. Why would anyone want to kill him? And
who would have the resources to do it by bringing down a large White
House airplane?
The answer, in brief, is that Ron Brown was going to prison and had
threatened to bring Bill Clinton down with him. He was up to his neck
in numerous major scandals: Whitewater, the Denver airport mess, Mena,
the Keating Five, Lillian Madsen and her Haitian prostitutes, etc.
Twenty-two Congressmen wrote Clinton in February of 1995 demanding
that he fire Brown. At the time of his murder, Brown was under
investigation by: a special prosecutor in the Justice Department; the
FDIC; the Congressional Reform and Oversight Committee; the FBI; the
Energy Department; the Senate Judiciary Committee; and even his own
Commerce Department Inspector General.
Involved in over a dozen major scandals, Brown was, among other
things, Clinton's point man to bring Iranian Muslims and their
weaponry into the Bosnia war. That broke the U.S.-endorsed arms
embargo. The money for the arms was most likely from Commerce and
Agriculture-slush fund money channeled to U.S. manufacturers, thence
to U.S. friendly nations and firms overseas, thence to Iran.
The arms included heli-copter gun-ships, stinger missiles,4 land
mines, anti-aircraft guns, anti-tank weapons, grenade launchers, and
other quality weaponry.
The last nail in Brown's coffin was pounded four days before the
crash. The FBI and the IRS subpoenaed as many as 20 witnesses for a
serious new grand jury probe of Brown in Washington.5 The February 8,
1996 Washington Post reported that Brown had retained top legal gun
Reid Weingarten, a former high official in the Justice Department, as
his criminal attorney. You don't pay his prices ($750 an hour) unless
you know a criminal indictment is coming and you're probably going to
jail.
Janet Reno appointed Daniel Pearson as Brown's special prosecutor.6
When she gave him blanket permission to investigate anything, Brown
angrily demanded that Clinton force her to withdraw Pearson. But Reno
couldn't do that; she had been backed into a corner by Representative
William F. Clinger, Jr., who is chairman of the House Government
Reform and Oversight Committee, and who had possession of
incriminating documents on Brown.
According to confidants who insist on anonymity, when Clinton
indicatedhe couldn't comply, Brown went ballistic. His fatal mistake
was telling Clinton that he wasn't going to take the rap. He was going
to finger Bill and Hillary instead.
From that point on, Brown was a dead man walking. Like Vincent Foster
before him, Brown knew too much. More than any man in Washington, he
knew where all the money went for the payoffs, bribes, scams, money
laundering, cover-ups, participation fees, hush money and side
deals_all the way from one-man operations to vast multinational trade
treaty deals.
The phoney suicide fake-out used on Foster could not be repeated, of
course. But an airplane "whack" is always viewed as an accident. This
was not the rag-tag "Arkansas Mafia" that followed Clinton to
Washington. This was the muscle squad of the establishment.
Is it possible that 34 innocent Americans were murdered to silence
Commerce Secretary Ron Brown? Was this another in a series of cover-
ups spanning 13 years and involving our current President?

-The ValuJet Crash Another Attempted Hit?-
Chuck Hays, CIA contract operative, was supposed to be on the ValuJet
that crashed in May. He was the one who broke the news that Vince
Foster had received $2.73 million from Switzerland just before his
death. It was put into a U.S. slush fund bank account that he
controlled, but it was designated as a "U.S. Treasury Escrow Account."
After his death, the number of the account was found in his wallet.
Hays was a key source to Jim Norman, former senior editor of Forbes,
who wrote disclosures in Media Bypass.
Hays's name was on the ValuJet manifest, but he was unable to catch
the flight. Lucky.

I also think that the future of Mr. Chertoff’s employment on the committee and the vain of further questions on the matter, will indicate Mr. D’Amato’s true intentions as head of the Senate Committee investigating Whitewater.
I searched the literature on the Lippo Group and found many interesting ties to: Jackson Stevens, Bill Clinton, Rose Law Firm, Worthen Bank, Ron Brown’s China trip, loss of Arkansas public retirement funds, Swiss Bank Corporation, Hong Kong bank, the Bevill, Bresler & Schulman securities brokerage company, Entergy Corporation (parent of Arkansas Power and Light), continued human rights violations in the People’s Republic of China (all tentacles of the web).
After finding all this information I recalled a poster on this group discussing Chertoff’s background in prosecuting RICO cases. It is now clear why he was selected to be the Republican’s Chief Counsel...there is an organized conspiracy (probably criminal) that is so complex that it is difficult to understand. The scope of the conspiracy adds to the difficulty in tying it all together.
In 1977 Jackson Stephens brokered a deal to sell a bank owned by Bert Lance to Mochtar Riady, an Indonesian financier. Riady was a member of Indonesia’s elite ethnic Chinese business circle. When the deal fell through (the Lance bank was bought by the Saudi Ghaith Pharaon of the BCCI) Stephens arranged for Riday to buy into the Worthen Bank and Trust of Little Rock. This happend in 1984. Riady appointed his son James as president of the bank. The deal was brokered by C. Joseph Giroir II, the former chairman of the Rose Law Firm - the man who hired Hillary Rodham Clinton. Mr. Giroir now runs the Arkansas International Development Corp. and continues to make major international deals for the Riadys and Indonesia multi billionaire Liem Sioe Liong.
What happened next was a series of shady deals and investments and under-collateralized loans that put the solvency of the bank at risk. It also risked public Arkansas retirement funds. Apparently, Worthen managed public pension funds and invested them in high-risk short-term loans called repos . . . to the tune of $10 to $20 million at a time. In other words, this bank had an arrangement with the state government of Bill Clinton to manage the investment of Arkansas state pension funds. These risky investments were made through a New Jersy firm call Bevill, Bresler & Schulman.
An elected Republican state audior had warned the state that these repos were risk, but her warnings went unheaded (Kind of sounds like the phrase “it’s Lasaters deal” only in this case it’s Stephens deal). During 1985, the bank handled $342 million of state pension money. Then it happened. When Worthen placed its biggest repo ever, $52 million, that's the day that the investment firm (Bevill, Bresler & Schulman) went bust. Had this loss of public funds become common public knowledge, it would have shaken Clintons governorship.
Jack Stephens dashed back to Little Rock in the wee hours of the morning and wrote out a check for $32 million to cover part of the loss. He got the bank’s investors to spring for the other $20 million and later recouped those losses from an insurance policy issued to cover bank officer misconduct. New common stock was issued and Mochtar Riady purchased much of it. This bail-out of the state funds may have saved Clinton’s career. It also put him in a position of owing Stephens and Riady . . . BIG TIME.
Stephens' son Warren eventually took over the bank...the same bank that provide much support to Clinton’s 1990 gubernatorial campagain. The Riadys got out of the bank around 1989 or 1990 but have stayed in close contact They even left the former president of the Lippo Bank in Los Angeles to work in the Clintion administration. John Huang is deputy assistant secretary for international economic policy at the COMMERCE DEPARTMENT.
Remember the statement “It is what partners can offer in personal contacts and business connections? Well, those contacts paid dividends for Stephens and Riady in 1994.
President Clinton said in support of Ron Brown that his leadership had resulted in “expanded opportunities for American business in this country and abroad?” Well, it appears that some of those businesses have ties to Stephens and Riady. An interoffice memo found in the files at Entergy Corporation mentions a meeting that an Entergy employee had with a Commerce Department deputy assistant Secretary in June of 1994. This was 3 or 4 months before the trade mission to China actually occurred.
Entergy is the parent company of the Arkansas Power and Light Company of Little Rock, a staunch supporter of Bill Clinton. It appears that the skids were greased. And guess who the chief Washington lobbyist was for Entergy. His name is Beryl Anthony. You may know him better as the man who married the (sister of the late VINCENT FOSTER, Sheila Foster Anthony).
It's curious to note that then State Department spokesman Mike McCurry said on August 29, 1994 that the administation had witnessed “no significant improvements” in the human rights situation in China since President Clinton renewed MFN status. He continued by saying that the rights abuses “represent a continuation of exactly those Chinese practices that we have objected to in the past. But was Mr. Clinton going to let these “abuses” stop a good deal for a few of the good ‘ol’ boys from Arkansas? No way. He simply separated the issues of MFN and rights abuses.
So how did Entergy make out on the trade mission? Well - on August 30, 1994, Entergy announced a $1 billion venture with - you guessed it - Lippo Group - to manage and expand Lippo’s power plant in northern China. On September 1, 1994, Entergy announced that it got a contract to help build two 660 megawatt generating stations in Guangzhou. In November 1994, Entergy was on Brown’s flight to Indonesia. They came home with more contracts to help build power plants in Indonesia.
I hope you've been able to follow this tangled web and can see why I think the RICO statutes may come into play. The banks were pilfered to get Clinton in the White House and now he is paying off his debts by making billion dollar deals. He can do this because the government is full of his Arkansas partners in the ENTERPRISE. Getting back to the Lippo Group - They are partners in a joint venture with the SWISS BANK Corporation that makes up the largest capitalized securities brokerage in Indonisia.

2. Ron Brown--who at various times has been under investigation by
the Commerce Department Inspector General, the FDIC, the Justice
Dept., the House Government Reform and Oversight Committee, and the
Senate Judiciary Committee--was only two weeks away from being
indicted with respect to a bribe paid by Oklahoma company Dynamic
Energy Resources. "I am too old to go to jail," Brown loudly
proclaimed. "If I go down, I'll take everyone else down with me."
Brown assumed the threat would force Democratic bigwigs to rally
around him, to make sure that the charges he faced were buried in an
appropriate fashion. But Brown miscalculated. His own words buried
him instead.
3. Brown was flying in the same equipment that had ferreted Hillary
Clinton around Bosnia the week before. The aircraft had taken no
intervening flights
4. The plane was a 43A, not a T-43A as reported. "T" stands for
trainer, but in this case the extra control stick for the instructor
had been removed.
5. Brown's plane was one of two planes in the fleet not equipped with
a Black Box. It was, however, already wired for a Black Box, and the
latter could have been purchased and put in place for the occasion for
a mere $80,000 or so. (The wildly varying costs estimates-- in one
case $6 million was cited--are speculative noise.) It is against Air
Force regulations to transport government officials of diplomatic
status or higher without a Black Box. Clearly, someone wasn't doing
his job.
6. Landing visibility was good. This was reported by two pilots who
landed immediately ahead of Brown's flight. One of these pilots has
had more than 8000 hours flying experience. The statements by Lt.
General Howell Estes--carried on CNN and elsewhere--about visibility
problems and terrible conditions of wind, rain, and fog, are either
simply erroneous or constitute sheer disinformation. ("The Pentagon
finally told that old fart to shut up," one source says.) Similar
statements such as those by Don Phillips in the *Washington Post* that
"the plane was fighting . . . poor visibility when it slammed into a
mountain" (A28, April 12, 1996) also seem to be part of a active
disinformation campaign.
7. "If you are even a quarter mile off course, the tower begins
screaming at you," says a pilot who has flown into that airport. To
be off more than two miles is impossible without having generated a
great deal of control tower radio traffic. What do the tapes show
with respect to Brown's flight?
8. The control tower tape is missing. While very suspicious, this
could simply represent an attempt by someone to secure crucial
evidence. However, there is a backup cylinder which keeps a backup
copy of all traffic for up to three months. This backup cylinder is
also missing. "The missing backup cylinder shows that this was a
professional job," says a source highly connected in the intelligence
community.
9. The maintenance chief for navigation systems at the airport, Niko
Junic, is said to have subsequently committed "suicide" at home, on
the Saturday after Wednesday's crash of Brown's plane. Junic is said
to have shot himself in the chest, an unusual choice of techniques.
His medical records show him to be a very stable, reliable individual.
10. Brown's plane made its approach to the airport from Tusla in the
northeast. But part of the plane ended up on the mountainside about
10 miles southeast of Dubrovnik, while another part ended up in the

11. CIA trawlers have recovered part of the wreckage in the water.
This, along with the wreckage on the hillside, not only shows
unmistakable evidence of an explosive blast, but the type of detonator
("descending detonator") that set it off. The downing of the plane
was no accident: it was a deliberate act of sabotage.
12. When President Clinton appeared on camera to announce the
disappearance and death of Ron Brown, his nose and eyes showed
unmistakable signs of recent significant cocaine usage. Did the
President need a lot of lines to get courage to face the public? Or
was this just one more example of the type of hubris that lead to
Brown's demise?
13. Like Brown himself, those responsible for his death have
apparently miscalculated. Two of the most powerful organizations in
the U.S. government have now decided that enough is enough, and they
aren't going to let the cover-up of the Brown assassination continue.

I have read a number of guarino's reports and it is my general impression that he is a little too speculative. Depends I guess on the quality of his inside sources which he claims but I'm not convinced.
Going from hazy memory, it seems he has been ahead of the curve a couple of times, but he's made so many assertions that turned out wrong or remain unsubstantiated... I'm open but skeptical
I seem to remember the wife of one of the pilots of one of the Presidential-level AF1-2-3-etc aircraft on either Rush, or one of the TV call-in shows, making unkind remarks about members of the Clinton Admin's behavior--something less than a month before this "tragedy;" her husband MAY have been the pilot of this aircraft. (memories dim, probably not--yet. . . )
I've never read any other reports by Guarino. What else has he written, and on what?
As far as his report on the Ron Brown plane crash, nothing I recollect in it has not as yet not panned out with this perhaps exception of the plane crashing in water rather than on land. As far as the remainder of what's in it, he was definitely ahead of the curve.
I mis-stated. I have not read his reports, I have read several multi-page "intelligence" pieces which he sends out in packages designed to solicit subscription to his investment newsletter. Think I remember he said Clinton would be out of office by Aug.'98 -- don't remember other specifics.

Re: "Black Box" (they're really survival orange) on Air Force version of a Boeing 737---Military aircraft do not generally carry a civilian flight data recorder of the type one would expect to find on a Delta, Northwest or other airliner. They do, however, carry an ELT (emergency locator transmitter)to aid in locating a downed aircraft. Even though the 737 on Secretary Brown's ill-fated flight belonged to a SAM (Special Air Mission) squadron, the type of unit that ferries VIPs and dignitaries, I nonetheless believe the above is accurate.
This is a trick that would make David Copperfield jealous. I bought a video tape from Christopher Ruddy about the Ron Brown crash, showing gruesome pictures of the crash site on a mountain with Brown's body inside the plane. While the pictures were shown, it was narrated by an interview of the military forensics doctor who was sent to inspect the crash. I forget his name, but he was later demoted for protesting that no autopsy was performed on Brown because of the apparent bullet hole in his head. So how did they move the plane wreckage from the ocean onto the side of the mountain? And what purpose would that serve?
Most importantly, if the tape was falsified, can I get my money back?
There was a report that AF mechanics were "stunned" to learn that there were no black boxes.
You see, calling us Right Wingers is a lie. We are not. We are Radicals. And what are they? Heretics. We are anyone who resents and resists reality painted for us by the Establishment; and the more wizened of us have climbed out of the box, the Dem vs. Pubbie paradigm. But it really has nothing to do with politics, in the end; it is all about the truth.
Though I never thought of myself as a right winger, I am still getting up to speed, and I see no alternative but to agree with your classification of myself. The truth is what they are scared of. If that makes me a Radical, so be it.
There are a lot of unreported tidbits to the RB crash that merit further exploration. Here on the west coast, if you had watched ABC nightly news that April 3rd, you would have seen Peter Jennings go to a correspondent in Dubrovnik, on the north side of the bay over which the plane traveled enroute to the airport and the mountain. The correspondent (name forgotten but if anyone knows please tell me) interviewed 2 restaurateurs thru an interpreter. They recounted the plane passing over lower than normal, and the one man said he told his friend "He doesn't look like he's going to make it." He said they saw a flash, then a second flash, after which (hand gesture here showing plane rocking wings back and forth) the plane became unstable." The US correspondent then said something like "well, investigators will probably be looking at lightning as a probable cause." Now I saw that along with quite a few of my coworkers. However when we saw the opposite spin after a few days, I asked one of my local independent video guys how I could get a transcript. He gave me the number for Burrelles and I ordered the transcript for $20 but when it arrived, that segment was completely missing. I asked Burrelles if there was a different one for the Western edition and they either didn't know or didn't care. Then I called ABC if they could check it for me. They said it wasn't on the tape. Smelling a rat, my video friend gave me the name of a local video gal who makes her living taping nightly news of all networks every night. I told her what I was looking for and she said it would be $50 and she'd get right on it. When she didn't call back in a few days I called her. She sounded very nervous and evasive, saying only that she couldn't find it and hung up on me. All my friends who'd seen the news that evening could hardly believe what happened but there you have it. I'd be curious to know if anyone in the eastern zones saw the same broadcast that we did.
