Adams Update: Teamster Head John Morris and Local115 (who beat Adams) Has Been Taken Over by JHoffa

Crime/Corruption Breaking News Announcement Keywords: ADAMS, JOHN MORRIS, TEAMSTERS
Source: Self
Author: TAdams8591
Posted on 11/15/1999 17:56:28 PST by TAdams8591

Law Enforcement along with Hoffa officials went into the union building at local 115 to physically take control. Outside the building signs read, "No Admittance" and "Shut down".

Inside officials found what can only be described as a bunker-like mentality. They discovered a stockpiling of weapons including: shotguns, 20 stun guns, cases and cases of pepperspray, Camouflage uniforms and army boots for hundreds, 30 bunkbeds, a kitchen set up to feed 160 people and a trailor that was converted for surveillance operations.

Apparently, Mr. Morris has been concerned about an imminent take over since the Adams incident. He has now been stripped of all power in the Teamsters union!!!

Law Enforcement, Teamsters and the Media are all now currently outside Local 115 Headqurters. Morris and his people have threatened to storm the facility. Mr.Morris is also planning to make a speech to his union supporters.

A neighbor described the activity at the site of local 115 throughout the day as, "complete chaos."

In the face of all the evidence against John Morris including the video of the Adams beating, why didn't the Independent Review Board (IRB, who has jurisdiction in such matters, refuse to remove John Morris and instead protect him?

Please e-mail the WSJ and thank them for their support in the Adams matter and also their support for the DNC-Teamster scandal, the trial of which is occurring as we speak at editors@interactive.wsj.com

They had this stuff in a Union office? Holy Smoke, these guys are 'brown shirts.' Sounds like they were ready to rumble. Hillary's storm troopers, maybe?

So John Morris and his thugs went to the mattresses.

None, none, NONE of this will be covered by the lamestream media.

None

That's just another crime to add to the long list.

Several questions:

1. are you an Adams of "the Adams incident?

2. who is this WJS we are supposed to e-mail, and what is the e-mail address?

3. Could you please describe the Adams beating for the Freepers & Lurkers who don't yet know.

To: passionfruit

1.Yes.

2.The Wall Street Journal; they were one of the first ones to really give their plight serious coverage.

3.The really quick version; The Adams, a brother and sister, were demonstrating against Bill Clinton when he came to visit Philedelphia last year. A large, rowdy, and violent group of Teamsters wearing "We Support the Clintons" tee-shirts assaulted them, knocked them to the ground, held them there, and beat them. Don Adams had to be hospitalized. The police more or less stood by, and the authorities tried to prosecute the victims instead of the perpetrators.

The major observed, "going up against the Teamsters is not a wise career move".

Almost too unbelievable, but with Morris, nothing should surprise us.

Just another important constituency of the selfish, non-altruistic, non-compassionate, unpatriotic, undemocratic, special-interest-oriented, thuggish, armed, wacko, R.I.C.O. Democratic Party. No wonder the D.A. in Philly treated these thugs with kid's gloves.

The Wall Street Journal is to be commended for covering this. I always thought of that paper as an investment daily type of publication. Never had any money to invest, so I haven't had much use for it. I'll pay closer attention to them now.

Someone earlier in a reply wanted to know if the ATF was there yet. I have an idea. Why don't we notify Janet Reno that the kooks held up in the building are "cultists". That ought to do the trick.

What I wouldn't have given to be the man to kick the door in!

And for you, Johnny Morris: my lawyer, Larry Klayman, has some questions to ask you under oath.

I wonder if these guys were at Waco. Perhaps they were getting ready for Y2K, note the cammies. Maybe when the military refused to take the order from the cic, Mr. Morris and his boys were ready to put those orders into effect. Talk about paramilitary thugs.

Thank you Mr. Hoffa for returning some honor to the Teamsters. Maybe now they can go back to being the Knights of the Road again.

I just tried to call Fox News using the number on the web page to notify them of this. They don't seem to have human beings to answer the phone, and the voice mail box is full.

I would like to ask Freepers to please call your news affiliates to clue them in to this story. One angle that is interesting is the difference in the Justice Department's handling of a case such as this when the culpret is friendly to Clinton, compared to the handling of the Seventh Day Adventists minding their own business at Mount Carmel Church. REMEMBER WACO!

Them Hokies are whoopin' towards a national championship. We could hear the fireworks from the house. No broken glass but there was some damage after homecoming. Too cold now I guess. If we beat Temple and BC and Florida State loses to Florida, we are #1 in the nation. And we win the Sugar Bowl to be national champs.

You know you are good when you beat teams by 30 points and the defense scores more than the offense. When we get to the Sugar Bowl, maybe you folks could come down and celebrate in Blacksburg.

Marylander, help yourself to a slice of pride. You were one of the early supporters when they used the law to come after Don. Coming up to Philly to protest (in 14-degree weather!) their treatment of Don may not have seemed like much, but it helped to establish the critical mass of support and activism that ultimately helped to get Don acquitted and led up to today's victory.

All that's needed for tyranny is for good people to remain silent. You spoke up when most were silent. Thank you.

NOTICE

November 14, 1999

TO: THE OFFICERS AND MEMBERS OF LOCAL 115 PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA

Based upon credible evidence presented by members of Local 115, it appears that democratic procedures within Local 115 are being violated, that the officers and representatives of Local 115 are failing to assure the performance of collective bargaining agreements and are derelict in their duties as bargaining representatives for the membership of Local 115, that financial malpractice has been committed by the officers of Local 115, and that the Local Union has not been run in compliance with the IBT Constitution or the Local Union Bylaws, all to the detriment of the membership of Local 115.

More particularly, this evidence shows that officers and staff are threatening members with loss of employment for themselves and family members, assaulting members, colluding with employers to terminate and suspend from employment members, utilizing persons with criminal records to intimidate members, retaliating against members who are attempting to exercise their free speech and association rights under federal law and the International Constitution, using Union resources to create a climate of fear and intimidation, engaging in surveillance of members, misusing the assets of the Local and the various affiliated funds, using Union dues money to purchase weapons, operating the Local in violation of democratic rights, operating the Local for the personal benefit of John Morris and his family members, coercing members into making cash contributions to Morris’ personal benefit, dissipating the assets of the Local to advance Morris’ personal “war” against unstated and unknown “enemies,” operating the Local in violation of the Local Bylaws and the International Constitution, operating the Local in a corrupt fashion, not operating the Local and the affiliated benefit funds to benefit the membership, and that the deterioration of the Local, the threats and erratic behavior of John Morris have dramatically escalated requiring immediate action to protect the membership.

The evidence reflects the following:

1. John Morris has been the Secretary-Treasurer and Principal Executive Officer of Local 115 since 1955 and since that time no member has dared to have his or her name placed in nomination to run against Morris or any other member of his Executive Board at the elections which are required by federal law to be held every three years. This pattern of no opposition continued at the most recent nominations meeting of October 1, l998, even though it was reported that certain Local 115 members desired to run as opposition candidates. Morris has personally selected every officer on the Local Union Executive Board. None have been voted on by the membership of Local 115 in a secret ballot election. Similarly, Morris has personally selected the Union Trustees on the Benefit Funds as well as the staff of the Union and all stewards. Members are routinely not provided with copies of their collective bargaining agreements or the Local’s Bylaws unless Morris personally approves.

2. Local 115 has a well-documented record of violence and intimidation under the leadership of John Morris. For example, the NLRB has an outstanding contempt order against the Local and Joshua “Jocko” Johnson, a Local 115 Business Agent. The October, 1998 demonstration sponsored by Local 115 and lead by Morris resulted in the beating of a protester (Don Adams) by members of Local 115, some of whom have already plead guilty. The case received nation-wide publicity. Morris hires certain staff members and appoints stewards and “volunteer organizers” who have criminal records and reputations for violence and intimidation, including currently Joshua “Jocko” Johnson, William “Billie” Anderson, William “Cookie” Walker, Marc Nardone and Michael Breslin. Morris had authorized Local funds to be used to convert a portion of the basement to a boxing training gym for use by his group of former boxers, including Jocko Johnson, Cookie Walker, and Mike Cooper.

3. Business Agent Jocko Johnson recently assaulted member Brian Kada at the Union office in full view of Morris, who not only did nothing to stop the violence or reprimand Johnson, but Morris himself then assaulted Kada. At Local 115 membership meetings, Jocko Johnson directs members when to applaud or otherwise respond. This system of intimidation has resulted in a situation where members will not ask questions at the meetings, let alone make critical comments or otherwise exercise their membership rights. Kada was too intimidated and fearful of his job to file a complaint. Morris personally assaulted Local President Jim Smith and his own daughter Nancy Morris at the Local’s offices. William Anderson faces Independent Review Board as well as state criminal charges for assaulting Local 115 Recording Secretary Jerry McNamara. Morris arranged for Anderson’s legal representation and at the criminal hearing on November 12, 1999, Local 115 Trustee Ken Woodring and Pennsylvania Conference employee Dan McGinley were present to assist Anderson, rather than McNamara.

4. Morris directed Local Union funds to be used to purchase 2 shotguns, 20 stun guns and a supply of pepper spray. Morris is known to carry a handgun at the Local’s offices for which he does not have a permit. These purchases were in preparation for what Morris describes as the “war.” He has caused Local 115 to convert the offices of former Local 513, which merged with Local 115, into a barracks with sleeping quarters for approximately 30, a fully equipped kitchen and a mess hall to accommodate 160 at one time. At his direction, Local 115 has purchased uniforms for over 100 members, purchased combat fatigues, boots, socks, gloves and hats. These items are stored in cargo containers purchased by the Local which are located on property rented by the Local. Morris has caused the Local to purchase 4 additional cars and 2 campers to be used when the “war” comes. The Local has also purchased five buses at a cost of over $200,000 for the same purpose. The Local’s political action fund purchased five tractors and five trailers. The estimated cost of each tractor is $100,000. These vehicles are stored on property rented by the Local.

5. Morris has maintained a system at various Companies whereby only persons who have demonstrated their personal loyalty to him are hired. The individuals receive two Morris business cards, one for the steward and the other for the Company in order to be employed. Those persons, if they remain loyal to Morris, gain employment for their relatives and friends in the same manner. This degree of control over hiring also extends to terminations. At the most recent membership meeting on October 24, 1999 Morris warned that he would hold the sponsors responsible for the actions of the others.

6. Twelve Members employed at Kurtz-Hastings were terminated from employment on one day at the instigation of the Local and Morris because they or their relatives were suspected of unspecified disloyal acts against Morris, which consisted of alleged contacts with other officers of the Local. These members and their relatives were ordered to appear at the Local offices in the evening where they were accused of disloyalty, had their jobs and those of their relatives threatened by Morris and other officers and staff, viciously abused for hours at a time and in some instances physically threatened by Morris and others in attendance. The members described Morris as “out of control.”

7. Similar terminations are occurring at Drexel University and at the University of Pennsylvania, as are the threats and abuse of members. Members are ordered by Morris to stay away from other members who are suspected of being disloyal with the clear implication that their employment and that of their relatives are at risk. In all of these cases, the Union officers, business agents and stewards are not acting to protect the members or their jobs or to properly represent them under the contractual grievance procedure. The Union agents have been attempting to gain information to substantiate terminations and identify what other members they are associating with. These actions are designed to intimidate other members and force them “back in line.”

8. Morris announced at the October 24, 1999 membership meeting that he was removing Jim Smith and Jerry McNamara as officers of the Local, an action that violates the Local Bylaws, the International Constitution as well as federal law. Morris had earlier caused McNamara’s employer Kurz-Hastings to deny him reemployment and his vacation time.

9. Morris caused the Legal Fund to hire a retired Philadelphia police officer whom he bragged at a membership meeting was a wiretap expert and directed him to engage in surveillance of Jim Smith’s home and activities, as well as that of others. Morris and other agents of the Local directed other members to spy on fellow members. Morris directed members to take the Local’s video camera to the high school reunion of its former attorney to record which members talked to him and to intimidate them.

10. Although Local 115’s jurisdiction is limited to Philadelphia, the surrounding Counties of Buck, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery, South Jersey and New Castle County, Delaware, Morris caused Local 115 to purchase a building in Harrisburg in September of 1998 for $125,000, which was then converted into more “barracks” at Local 115 expense for when the “war” comes.

11. Morris recently purchased a building located behind the Local because he stated that in the event the Local was in Trusteeship, he would burn the Local down and operate the Local from this building. He has also referred to this building as a sniper or sharpshooter’s nest. The building is not occupied or otherwise being used. Shredding of Local Union records has also been reported.

12. Although Morris’s total salary from all Union entities for calendar 1998 was $184,423.50, he has had a practice for years of having Local 115 members, while on the clock with their Employer, repairing at no charge Morris’ cars and even painting a car for his grandson. He also had members perform extensive renovations and repairs on his house, including the one behind the Local, and that of his daughter while the members were for the most part being paid by their Employer.

13. The stewards each year are required to collect cash from the members to give to Morris as a Christmas gift which amounts to thousands of dollars. The stewards are instructed to keep a record of those not contributing and to deprive them of overtime opportunities.

14. The Local Union has been paying the premiums on a million dollar insurance policy for Morris which is in reality a deferred compensation plan covering only him. In 1981, he proposed that the Local pay the premiums in exchange for his waiving his 1981 salary increase. The Executive Board approved the plan, but he then paid himself the raise retroactively. Over the years, the Health and Welfare Plan has been amended in order to cover medical conditions applying to him or other members of his family. These improvements were often made retroactive. Morris caused his daughter Nancy to be hired as a clerical employee of the Legal Fund. He directed that the Fund send her to a ten-week course in labor relations with all expenses paid at Harvard. Her duties at the Fund, before and after this trip, do not relate to this course.

15. With approximately 2700 members and approximately 65 contracts, Local 115’s financial stability cannot sustain the misguided and unreasonable expenditures outlined above. These expenditures do not benefit the membership of Local 115 and are made only to satisfy the personal whims of John Morris.

16. The pattern of erratic behavior coupled with the atmosphere of coercion and intimidation that has driven off the experienced staff cannot continue. Most importantly, the members are being targeted for harassment, threats, and attacks of violence and loss of employment by the officers and staff that are duty bound to protect them. That conduct is continuing and may worsen given the condition of John Morris. The atmosphere of fear among the members preventing them from exercising their rights requires that a Trusteeship be imposed immediately.

Accordingly, based upon the evidence submitted to me, I am, pursuant to my authority under Article VI, Section 5(a) of the IBT Constitution, imposing an emergency trusteeship over the affairs of Local 115, effective Monday, November 15, 1999. I have appointed Brother Edward Keyser as Temporary Trustee. Pursuant to the procedures set forth in Article VI, Section 5 of the International Constitution, the members of Local 115 will soon be receiving a notice of hearing to determine whether the temporary trusteeship should be continued or dissolved. Separate notice of that hearing shall be posted by the Temporary Trustee.

A copy of this Notice shall be posted immediately in the Local Union headquarters and in such other places as will ensure that the members of Local 115 are informed of the imposition of the Trusteeship.

James P. Hoffa

General President

I was kidding earlier in this thread about similarities to Waco. After reading the notice, it's much more serious than it first appeared.

The extra vehicles and buildings do indicate that Morris is in fact a cult like figure expecting a doomsday event.

Just watched the news reports on 17 (WB) and 29 (Fox). They said Morris is being charged with corruption, based on some information from informants inside Local 115. Neither broadcast mentioned the October 2nd incident, although 17 did have some file footage of Morris from that night.

I think a little blast from the past is in order:

Moldea to Freepers Who Accuse Anonymously: "Identify Yourselves!"

To: Elle Bee

Hey, Gene, remember our last encounter--my reply to your accusations against me--back when you were still just passing as "Elle Bee"?

You, more than anyone I know, illustrate the reason why people should be forced to give their real names, particularly when they are accusing others anonymously.

Let's recall the moment: July 9, 1999 at 5:51:34 PDT:

To Elle Bee:

Take a pill, Gene.

As your June 12 spammed posts (06:37:22, 06:39:18, 06:39:29, 06:41:46 and 06:41:53, as well as 10:02:04 and 10:09:40 and 11:07:35 and 11:12:14) indicated, you don't have any idea what you're talking about, especially when it comes to me.

By the way, it is Gene, isn't it, aka "Elle Bee," harsh critic of President Clinton and loyal supporter of Bob Barr, Gary Aldrich, Michael Ledeen, and union democracy?

In fact, aren't you the notorious Gene Giacumbo, the disgraced former vice president of the Eastern Conference of Teamsters?

It is no wonder that you are reluctant to use your real name in cyberspace and choose to hide behind a handle in which some could mistake you for a woman. (Your June 12 post and repost to me at 10:02:04 and 10:09:40 indicated that you enjoy playing off this deception.) But you certainly didn't fool me.

My God, fella, you should've thought twice before entering a debate about hyprocrisy! You simply have no business here! You are the poster boy of hypocrisy in the union-reform movement!

But since you are here, Gene, let me give your Freeper buddies a little information about their beloved "Elle Bee," who portrays himself as just another defender of truth and justice:

The December 15, 1991, edition of The New York Times quoted Giacumbo, upon his election as a Teamsters vice president on the union reform ticket, saying what every newly-elected reformer should have said: "There are still kickbacks. There's still corruption. But we're becoming the hallmark, the standard every other union is going to measure itself by."

But, then, on November 19, 1995, The Record of Bergan County, New Jersey, reported: "Gene Giacumbo, a Teamsters vice president and a former official of a Springfield local, has been suspended from office and had his union membership lifted for six months after being found guilty of financial malpractice."

Hey, Elle Bee, is this "the hallmark, the standard every other union is going to measure itself by?"

Before you trash other people with your false facts, you should examine your own sorry record.

Posted on 09/29/1999 02:00:24 PDT by moldea

---------------

from the same post:
My name is Dan E. Moldea. I have been an independent crime reporter for the past twenty-five years, concentrating, for the most part, on investigations of traditional organized-crime groups. I have written for numerous publications, and I am the author of seven nonfiction crime books.

---------------

How curious! Is it possible that Dan Moldea totally missed the fact that John Morris is a whacked-out organized crime loon? Oh, well - I suppose he must have been busy that year. Right on, Elle Bee, and keep up the good work! ;-)

O.K. I just read Jimmy Hoffa's notice, and I'm confused. Are we talking about "Teamsters" or "Mobsters". Sounds like the brutal beating of the Adams' was just the tip of the iceberg.

Teri, if you are still reading, I am outraged about the beating that you and Don took, but it looks like some good will come from it. Life for Teamsters in Philly is becoming better and safer and fairer. Too bad that none of the Teamsters that saw the beating didn't step in to protect you. Looks like they were conditioned to cower.

When asked about his response to the situation, he said "I will get an attorney and fight this as long as it takes."

They also reported that trustees will be blocking the entrance to the local throughout the night!

Also, please read Hoffa's notice to Local 115. It mantions Don!!!

Channel 10, NBC had the most extensive coverage. Apparently, the union also had combat helmets. They showed the camouflage suits, army boots, stun guns and pepperspray. When asked about the paramilitary equipment, Morris said they buy clothing -- suits, boots and knit hats (believe me those helmuts did not look like knit hats) to keep union members warm while they were on the picket line.

A National Teamster called Morris "crazy" for stock piling the weapons.

2 Shotguns, 20 stun guns, and CASES of pepper spray? Was this guy planning something for Y2K, the Republican National Convention, or what?! Further, are OTHER radical Left-Wing paramilitary organizations (ie, Teamsters, Black Panthers, SLA, FALN, PETA) stockpiling weapons in other cities? How large of a riot could this armed group make if they struck at a Convention or New Years Party?

Wear leather. Thick leather. Wear ski goggles or work eye protection...whenever we protest or attend any "controversial" gathering. The Left has tipped their hand, and we would be fools to disregard the warning.

But through the perserverence of you, Don and the dedicated Freepers who devoted their time and energy to this matter, a great thing has now been done. Corruption has lost. Truth has won. Through your actions, you have brought down a corrupt system that has been in place for years.

Everyone involved in this should consider running for political office. There's a heck of a lot of corruption in Washington DC.

Combined with the way Project Megiddo is being covered by the press, yes...it does indeed appear as though Left-Wing Brownshirts could be planning to set Right-Wingers up for a modern-day Reichstag event. When the riots hit, the press will show the white men in army camo, with Kevlar helmuts...the tag lines will all refer to Right-Wing militia radicals. Pretty scary stuff. Hoffa was unable to act sooner partially because of union by-laws and also the Federal Government refused to support any action Hoffa might take against Morris. But with evidence of the stockpile, Hoffa had a good enough reason to take over 115.

I have been trying to get te GOP to take notice ...The American middle class worker will back them if they just show a little compassion. I have read that the pension funds have been used for things other that pensions? Why don't we start there. These blue colar workers are the heart and soul of America. They have families to feed and house payments..yet our government ha let them down with bogus trade agreements like NAFTA and GATT. Please review these issues, these agreements should have never happened..at least not the way that they are being used.

I wonder how many other Teamster facilities around the country are similarly provisioned ???

I always believed NAFTA and GATT were bad. I was a Customs Inspector when NAFTA was enacted. I saw first hand what it cost the Treasury in revenue, and I saw the jobs head south. I don't think we can change that now, but here's something we can do.

China is the biggst importer of goods to the U. S. We have AGAIN given them most favored nation status. This is a slap in the face to Americans, and to the countries that truly deserve that favor. That's not good enough for China though. They want NO duty imposed, as opposed to low duties they currently enjoy with MFN. So what they are doing, is trans-shipping their goods through NAFTA countries, so that MADE IN (insert NAFTA country here) labels are attached, then shipped to the USA duty free.

Freepers can raise Cain with Congress, and call and write, and don't ever let them forget that China must never receive MFN status, as long as they are communist, stealing nuclear secrets.....

Any help here? Would Teamsters and other unions back this effort with their cards, letters, votes and campaign contributions?

I actually heard rumors that they were preparing for the RNC! Because Morris threatened violence at the RNC this past August, Don and I sent a letter to Governor Ridge, Mayor Rendell, Jim Nicholson and Morris' attornies asking them to make an agreement that there would be no violence at the RNC. I think in light of the findings at Local 115, our proposal for an agreement was more than necessary. What the heck would have occurred if Hoffa had not seized 115?

Incidentally, we think it a good idea if all the unions in Philadelphia agree not to disrupt the RNC period, with violence or any other intimidating actions!!

Morris recently purchased a building behind the headquarters so that if the national Teamsters took over the local, "he would burn the Local down and operate the Local from this building. He also referred to this building as a sniper's or sharpshooter's nest,'' the national Teamsters' statement said.[from Fox News Wire article]

What kind of a maniac are we dealing with here? This guy's a throwback to the ape-like Brownshirts that ravaged Germany in the 30's,with a good dose of Prohibition mobster tossed into the mix. He's got to be put behind bars pronto--before someone gets seriously hurt.

There must be news cameras down at that site shooting the Philadelphia Teamster seige. The lamestream media cannot possibly avoid featuring this wild and crazy story, if only for the sheer horror and insanity of Johnny Morris and his Local from Hell.

For those who want to read J Hoffa's Notice of Trusteeship for LU 115, it's now been posted at the TeamsterNet bulletin board, RIGHT HERE...

Here's an excerpt (charge #2)...

Coming up to Philly to protest (in 14-degree weather!) their treatment of Don may ...

It was 14 degrees and windy too, but citizens of all kinds stopped to ask what happened to Don. Their nearly universal reaction was, "They can't do that to him." Well, for a long time it looked like they could do that to him. But the cold-hearted cutthroat politicians didn't count on you resisting intimidation by clinging to the Constitution. Now, after a long struggle, you have prevailed. The Clintonist thugs are exposed and the citizens are proved right, "They can't do that to him."

You guys have helped uncover a real nest of snakes.

If this leftist goon was preparing his troops for war, there are probably others. The camoflage uniforms imply an attack by "right-wing extremists" -- it's hard to imagine what other use cammies would have in the city.

Given Clinton, a possible scenario might involve some provocative executive decree, followed by staged violence, followed by a multiple agency / military crackdown "to stop the hatred". I wouldn't rule out leftist bioterrorism either, to produce the necessary public revulsion against conservatives.

Of course, the "war" may be limited to Morris and his thugs, but somehow I doubt it.

We need to find out ASAP...

Morris has been losing his marbles for some time now. He appeals to the low element and his crack the knee cap attitude had the higher ups in the union very worried. This mess that Morris started in Philadelphia did not go unnoticed by union bosses throughout the states. The time was right for Morris to be dumped. The Teamsters had its website crashed with everyone venting over the Philly beating. I understand many wrote the legislators and called for people not to use anything relating to Teamsters. You have no idea how this beating of people affected many in the union. They hated what happened.

I noticed that post, too, bvw. And I still wonder if it was a facetious comment, since it's well-known that Morris supplied beer to the union "counter-demonstrators" who attacked Don and Teri. Quite a recommendation, isn't it? Morris uses union funds to reward and promote drunkeness...

According to a baliff at thelocal courthouse, drunkeness is still the most common "factor" of violent crimes and most trips to the criminal courts.

It was when I was younger and more drinking that I would pick on the biggest and toughest looking person to seek some redress or other with ...

Johnie Morris knows the role of drinking in a organization of violent thugs.

This is winter combat gear.

WOW!!! Catching up on FreeRepublic and seeing this marvelous news!

* More particularly, this evidence shows that officers and staff are threatening members with loss of employment for themselves and family members, assaulting members, colluding with employers to terminate and suspend from employment members, utilizing persons with criminal records to intimidate members, retaliating against members who are attempting to exercise their free speech and association rights under federal law and the International Constitution, using Union resources to create a climate of fear and intimidation, engaging in surveillance of members, misusing the assets of the Local and the various affiliated funds, using Union dues money to purchase weapons, operating the Local in violation of democratic rights, operating the Local for the personal benefit of John Morris and his family members, coercing members into making cash contributions to Morris’ personal benefit, dissipating the assets of the Local to advance Morris’ personal “war” against unstated and unknown “enemies,” operating the Local in violation of the Local Bylaws and the International Constitution, operating the Local in a corrupt fashion, not operating the Local and the affiliated benefit funds to benefit the membership, and that the deterioration of the Local, the threats and erratic behavior of John Morris have dramatically escalated requiring immediate action to protect the membership.

Whew!!! That’s quite a list. Nice little evil racketeering enterprise they got there.

* 2. Morris had authorized Local funds to be used to convert a portion of the basement to a boxing training gym for use by his group of former boxers, including Jocko Johnson, Cookie Walker, and Mike Cooper

Trained thugs/ringers. No wonder why I support the 2nd Amendment!

* Morris personally assaulted Local President Jim Smith and his own daughter Nancy Morris at the Local’s offices.

What a nice family man. Too bad he wasn’t the father of the Menendez brothers.

And so much more to parse and dissect. Thanks for the update Teri and Elle Bee.
