Albanians want UN police to kill their 'Serbian' dog
PRISTINA, Yugoslavia, Nov 21 (AFP) - A group of Kosovo Albanians
want a dog adopted as a mascot by United Nations police to be put
down because it is Serbian, UN sources in Kosovo said Sunday.
Members of the UN police force here adopted the stray bitch, who
is expecting a litter, at the beginning of September. They named the
animal UNMIK, the acronym for the UN Mission in Kosovo.
A group of ethnic Albanians came two-and-a-half weeks ago to
tell the UN police they had to kill the animal because the dog was
Serbian, US officer Sam Holton, who looks after UNMIK, said.
Soldiers told the Albanians they would not comply with the
request, but Holton said they were worried for the aninmal's
safety.
The father of UNMIK's puppies is a black dog belonging to
British soldiers called KFOR, named after the international
peacekeeping force in Kosovo, Holton said.
Revenge attacks on Serbs have been commonplace in Kosovo, since
the majority ethnic Albanian population returned after fleeing
Belgrade's repression.
And WE want to leave THESE people in charge?

Wanna see the Clinton Cultists get upset? Don't talk to them about rights, or freedom, or Serbian women and children having their heads blown off. Don't bother telling them that the KLA are terrorists or drug runners. Just refer them to this.
When you talk to them about murder and rape of innocent (Christian) people, well...stuff happens. But when you tell them that the KLA can hate a dog for its "politics"...hey, even liberals have a limit. :-)

I agree - this is one to send to the press as a filler, preferably with a cute doggy pic to go with it - it will horrify the people where murders of innocent civilians failed. This story is astounding! A Serbian dog is now on the hit list??? If this story makes the press it will speak volumes to even the dimmest reader. I am surprised that a special UN 'multi-ethnic' committee has not been formed to discuss inoffensive names for the puppies (if they are not slaughtered by the hardline Albanians first). Amazing!!!
