I called Rush today to discuss the possibility that violence similar to that which is occurring at the WTO convention, may also happen at the Republican National Convention this July.
While I was able to state my major point, Rush had hung up and proceeded to mention our escapade with the Teamsters Octber 2, 1998 (without knowing who I was). He got the details incorrect and I was unable to immediately correct him as I was no longer on line nor was I able to identify myself to him.
I was able to contact his program again shortly thereafter to correct the details. F. Lee Levin was also listeneing and contacted Rush regarding the details of our story and also the latest development with John Morris and Local 115. THANK YOU F. LEE LEVIN!!! Rush spent several minutes on the story and also discussed it again after the commercial break and explained our fear about violence at the upcoming Republican convention very precisely. HE ALSO MENTIONED US BY NAME which was kind of him.
Rush also gave freepers a plug and I am so glad because you all have been so supportive, though I too wish he would have said FreeRepublic.
Don and I have sent a letter to the mayor of Philadelphia -- Ed Rendell, the Governor of Pennsylvania--Tom Ridge, Jim Nicholson and John Morris' Attorney requesting that they sign an agreement pledging no violence at the convention. We are going to amend the agreement requesting the participation in the agreement of all local unions.
Of course we have yet to hear a peep from any of them and the letter was sent over a month ago.

I was up on my roof-under-construction pounding nails while listening to Rush today. I turned him on late and did not hear your call.
But I perked up when I heard him talking about You and Don and Morris in Philly. I distinctly heard him say "Oh, was that HER?" when he realized that he had had you on the line earlier.
I explained to my helper what your case was all about and how the corrupt DA had indicted YOU and DON originally instead of the Teamsters. I told him about the long road you have had to walk these last months.
One mind at a time, folks...
I also called him back and got through and corrected him, explaining who I was. He had hung up before I had the opportunity to tell him who I was or respond to his comments to my comments!!! Mark Levin's e-mail was a big help. Mark straightened him out on all the details!!! I am certain he would not have given the story the time that he did without Mark's input!!!! THANK YOU AGAIN, MARK!!!

Great work, Don! And I am so glad to hear that the honorable Mr. Levin (who is a man with integrity) saw that the record was set straight, and that the honorable Mr. Limbaugh obliged him.
I am so glad for you! Way to go! And, ya know, Rush has a pretty big heart. He may be a pompous ol fart as part of his sctick, but underneath it all, he is a good human being who loves this nation, his wife and says so and holds his parents (deceased father and living mom) up with respect and affection. He is a good role model to have around...and is there anyone better in today's psycho environment of spin and lies to lay out the truth than Rush? I think not. He is the right man for the times. ( Besides-he is a real pain in the arse to Hillary and Bill, which gives me immense glee. HarHar)
Sometimes I wish I could tell Rush how much I enjoy his commentary and insight. He not only confirms or enhances the information I am hungry for, but he also makes me laugh. How I love his humor.
I think he kinda likes our home here on FR. He knows we are mostly intelligent, fiercely patriotic Americans who care deeply about the scandalous fall from grace our nation seems to be embroiled in...and he says our web site outloud every now and then.
I appreciate this because he gives us a chance to gain new insights from new folks as we grow.
Rush Limbaugh is quite a positive phenomenon, like a rock in blowing sand, and I am so glad he talked of your experience Terry-but I am not surprised. Rush is like that. God Bless him and you too!

I heard it too. I wish you were able to stay on. Rush gave some good air to the Teamster's atrocity, as well as the local official coverup. Some eyes might have been opened today.
Why on earth would the GOP choose a liberal bastion for their convention? I guess "birthplace of the country"....

Teri: I actually heard you as I was driving to do some errands. I immediately recognized your voice & was yelling "YES YES YES" to the radio. I was disappointed that Rush didn't let you stay on the line but I was thrilled to hear him bring up the "demonstrators beaten by the Teamsters in Philadelphia. Then I had to turn off the radio as I had arrived at my destination."
I am very disappointed that I missed the call from F. Lee Levine giving the correct details. It is shame that you got on just before a commercial break and he had to limit your time.

Good goin', there, lady! I'm a VERY regular Rush listener; catch his show every day....but wouldn't ya know it, today I was on an airplane returning from a biz trip, so I missed the whole show. I would have LOVED to hear you on with The Man, and good to hear how he responded (although I'm not surprised :) ). It's also refreshing to see a thread here at FR about Rush that's positive rather than the tired, nonsensical "Rush-bashing" I've seen so much of (and have railed against ad nauseum). God bless ya.

What is Esperanto?
Esperanto is a planned (constructed) language intended for use between people who speak different native
languages.
Who constructed Esperanto?
Esperanto was developed during the period 1877-1885 by L.L. Zamenhof of Warsaw, Poland (then Russia).
Zamenhof, who grew up in a polyglot society, was convinced that a common language would be necessary to
