Fascism, A History

Politics/Elections Opinion Keywords: THE THIRD WAY
Source: Penguin Books
Published: 1995 Author: Roger Eatwell

"Arthur Moeller van den Bruck's seminal book The Third Reich (1923) was initially and more accurately entitled The Third Way." Page 126 Penguin paperback edition.

This book is a serious history of the idealogical origins and development of Fascism, through and post WWII. It contains numerous references to Fascism as The Third Way, neither capitalist nor communist, but for prosperity through communal goals under government control. Bill Clinton, Tony Blair and the Euro Bureaucrats are currently loudly promoting "The Third Way" as the global government directed path to universal peace and prosperity. It is an eery echo of the vision of Benito Mussolini and Adolph Hitler; National Socialism (Fascism). Apparently these wanna-be New Reichmeisters are unaware that their buzz phrase, The Third Way, was first used by the First Fascists.

Good post!

I've said for quite a while that American Liberals are Fascists. Read more here.

National Socialism (Fascism)

Nazi-ism and Fascism are not the same things. The US goverment, and the major-political parties that "manage" it are probably not nazis, but they are certainly Fascists. Fascism is the partnership of large corporate interests with government. One of it's goals is to concentrate power and wealth in the hands of the favored few, those who will sell their souls to the corporate plutocracy.

I don't think you can conclude that at all. I think they learned their lessons at the feet of a past-master.

Fred, give it a rest. This is a discussion forum, not an advertising medium for you, however noble the cause. I have seen your ad 100 times so far. Enough is enough.

It always amazes me when people clap and cheer when the gov stries to nationalize any corp. Tobacco, Microsoft,(goal), or any business. it is straight out of the National socialist play book. Hitler did a pretty effective job of confiscating private business for the Reich. That must be Bill and Hill's wet dream.

Then don't pay it any mind.

It is not appropriate, whether I pay it any mind or not. Simple. Case closed.
