Jim, If by chance Gore is elected. I think we should organize a massive protest in Washington DC on 20 January 2001. (A March for Justice II)

Lots of Sore/Loserman signs at the Austin Bush Rally today! Anymouse and France4BushinAustin had them. Someone, not a Freeper that I know of, arrived with an armful and passed them out to eager Bushies. It was wonderful to see.

Good afternoon!!!

Just returned from the DALLAS, TEXAS RALLY!!!

EXCELLENT.

Sore/Loserman was a hit. A FREEPER generously prepared stacks and stacks of high-quality Sore/Loserman signs to be shared with rally attendees.

THANK YOU to the person that brought the signs.

Many tourists and passerbys stopped to join us. A couple from Ohio were delighted they got to participate. It was great. Thank you!!!!

Finally, Mr. Robinson, THANK YOU SIR for having the vision to bring about FreeRepublic.com so that we may join together in one voice. BLESSINGS to you and yours.

I was at the biggest of the pro-life rallies in Washington, maybe the biggest rally ever in the capital. There were about 500,000 people according to credible estimates. I saw myself that the whole stadium parking lot (I think the Redskins) was full of out-of-town buses. Speakers included Cardinal O'Connor.

In the major press the next day they ran one short article on a back page, giving the attendance as 50,000, and showing no pictures. They did show a picture of about ten pro-aborts at a counter-protest.

So, will large, silent crowds impress them? No.

"Sore/Loserman" is sweeping the nation....

Just got back from the Dallas demonstration. A nice woman from Oklahoma came down to Dallas with a bunch of Sore Loserman signs. They worked well. The dems could not believe that we had them and the passerbys loved them.

But I have a question. When you follow this link to cafepress from the top of this page, you can see the product selection. But if you go to the main cafepress page, and go to the soreloserman products page, you see different products, and higher prices.

Do you get a part of the proceeds from both pages?

Fellow Freepers,

With Mr. Robinson’s kind permission I extend this offer to you.  Notify me by Freepmail, and I will send you a clear decal with the Sore Loserman graphic.  It notes that it is the work of Registered.

These are static cling decals.  They will stick to the insides of car windows and lots of other places.  I will gladly send you one free of charge.  I consider it my patriotic duty.

On my honor (as a Girl Scout!), I will not share any mailing information with anyone.  Period.  I will also send some to Mr. Robinson, who can add them to the items in the Free Republic store.

I have been wearing my Free Republic jacket everywhere.  It is great for this time of year (hint, hint!).

First and foremost, thank you for this forum and thank God for FreeRepublic. I am glad I found this site, there is more information in the threads found here than newspaper and television combined. Great laughs too.

I have bee driving around greater Orlando with two 8 1/2 by 11 inch "Sore Looserman" signs in the back window of my car. It never fails that when I am stopped at a light, the people behind me either have a good laugh or look really P'od. Mnay thumbs up and a few middle fingers. I don't care I just smile and either wave or give them the big "W".

Thanks again.

They tell me the original creator of the Sore Loserman concept is our very own Registered, the Jewel of Free Republic.

However, the leg work and publicity belongs to many dozens of unsung Freepers -- our 'infantry' -- and you are very right to extend congratulations to them as well. I've always been of the opinion that the Generals get the medals, but it is the Foot Soldier that wins the war. Congrats to all!

CPL BAUM came up with the slogan originally and Registered, gifted artist that he is, made the version everyone is downloading and copying. CPL BAUM and his two children were outside the White House today protesting with the DC Chapter. We had over 60 people at the White House today. SORE LOSERMAN 2000 and THE PALM BEACH POKEY were big hits with everyone.

Ya made the local news here in Raleigh, NC.

About 40-50 of us marched outside the NC GOP headquarters on Hillsborough street today and quite a few had the Sore/Loserman signs. WNCN, the NBC affiliate picked it up and had the sign on the 6 o'clock news. As soon as it's posted on their web site, I'll link to it.

BTW, we were supposed to be a counterprotest to the libs4Gore. But there was wedding going on at their planned site, so they went home, snif snif.

We moved down the street a few blocks and caught all the local media. Freepers Rule!!

In Dallas, we had people off the street, during our anti-Gore protest, ask us where they could get a copy of 'Sore-Loserman'. We had made a bunch of copies and we gave them one with the stipulation that they carry it up high as they walk off with it. What a hoot!!

We also had Gore people give us a thumbs up thinking that we were holding a 'Gore-Lieberman' sign. Only to frown at us when they realized they'd been snookered. We about busted a gut on that one.

I was one who was involved with at least one incarnation of the development of the Sore/Loserman 2000 graphic. It was kind of a group project in a thread last Monday.

My version (without the teardrop) is also available as a T-shirt, sweatshirt, coffee mug, mouse pad, etc. at CafePress/Resistance

I made 1 poster size "Sore Loserman" for myself to attend the Portland Oregon Rally. It went over real big there, but wwhat went over even better were the 50 5"X 8" signs I printed out, glued to light cardboard and stapled to "tongue depressers".
Small and easy for for little kids, easy to stick on dog collars, strollers, hats, or jacket pockets, etc.
People loved em, I could have given away 50 more easily.

There's a few versions running around that were created Monday as part of a quick group project. I've seen MASSExodus' and Registered's version in all the news photo's. This is the first time I saw my version in an AP news photo.

The photo at the top of the thread shows MASSExodus's version. Other pics I've seen show Registered's version. All were created within an hour or so of each other, so the multiple versions running around is understandable. I also sent mine out to a large mail list.

Way to go guys! The idea is definitely catching on. Maybe we should start putting these up as signs just like the Bush/Cheney signs before the election. More people would see them and the idea would catch on even stronger.

There was lots of media on hand for the rally at the Federal Building in Los Angeles...and a ton of Freepers too!!!

Yes! For the first two hours, the Bush folks (Freepers most) outnumbered the Gore people by over 4 to 1. We lined nearly an entire block and held three of four corners at the main intersection.

No doubt the main Gore organizer had to get on her cell phone and call out for support. But even when their "reinforcements" showed up we still had them outnumbered 2 to 1.

(I heard one Gore supporter say they would have to count themselves twice for their press release).

The cars driving by were as expected. The people supporting Gore flipped us the bird. The people who support Bush were hanging out the windows, honking their hornes and giving us a big thumbs up - or the three fingers to make a W.

And those Bush supporters driving by. I think they appreciated seeing us all there. Some must have been thinking, its about time I saw someone protesting that I agree with.

It was really quite a showing. Go FR. Go Bush!

Here's the URL to the original thread on Monday morning where we put this thing together. For some reason the thread has been deleted:

http://www.freerepublic.com/forum/a3a100c8250f3.htm.

I think if you resurrect that thread (if it is possible) you will see how this thing came about. CPL Baum posted a tiny version of this on a white background. I quickly came back with a 640x480 jpg of it on a blue background. Simultaenously MASSExodus was working on one with a teardrop and Registered took it from there.

To: Jim Robinson, Registered, ALL FREEPERS

I want to extend my thanks to Jim Robinson, and his son for giving me faith in the last 1-1/2 years. I lurked for awhile and then joined. My heart has been broken, unbroken time and time again...but in the times of most despair, I have come here to regain the spirit of our country. And it has worked EVERY TIME...

I have learned on this site how to pray again. I have learned that whining and complaining does NOTHING. I have learned that what I think DOES MATTER...and that we ARE MAKING A DIFFERENCE. We are being heard. Loud and clear, all through America.

To all of you, thank you for giving me back my backbone and integrity and spirit. I am a different person than I was 2 years ago, and I owe it all to my fellow FReepers...I love you all, and have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

And while we are thinking of Thanksgiving, we will be able to say a special blessing: "Thank you, dear Lord, for giving us President George W. Bush, Amen."

Sore/Loserman signs were in abundance in our Kansas City Rally today. We outnumbered the libs by about 20 to 1 here.

I made several signs, each with Bush Country at the top and Sore/Loser at bottom with various slogans in center. Gave several away to non freepers who loved them.

Also have both in the back window of my truck and have noticed numerous people behind me lately suddenly overcome with hysterical laughter--

This is truly inspiring; a heartfelt thanks to all who were instrumental in making this happen.

I cannot remember the source, but I recall a quote that goes something like:
"In every revolution, there is one man with a vision..." Well, sometimes it's more than one... but the vision was certainly there.

Let the election raiders see these peaceful protests now; some of them may see it for what it truly is: a foreshadowing of what will come later if they continue on that path.

If anyone knows of websites, particularly message boards, where active-duty military types regularly visit, please post a link to the Sore/Loserman image. I did, much to the delight of an officer in the U.S. Navy stationed on Guam! It is very gratifying to be thanked by someone in uniform; especially when it is *they* who deserve the thanks. In any regard, it might be fun to see a big "Sore/Loserman" banner being held by a bunch of grinning sailors aboard a warship. What a message that would send. Think the captain would allow it?

A photo from Friday Night at the Seminole County Supervisor of Election Office in Sanford, Florida. We had heard there was a pro-Gore protest put together by the AFL-CIO. When we arrived the protesters were all gone. Apparently the union goons slithered back under their rocks.

Anyway we did get to display our hastily printed Sore Loserman signs, and even passed out a few extras to some nice Republicans that were there.

And, Sore-Loserman appeared on the front page of the editorial section of the Sunday Atlanta Juoral-Constitution. I only wish the man holding the sign had been the one, the only, JimRob.

FReeepers should mention, through channels of course, that special invitations to the Bush Inaugural Ball should be tendered to two fine Americans who gave their all to set the record straight, get the story out, and help justice prevail -- Jim Robinson and his patient wife, who has let him share so much of himself with us. If they are there for that event, then all of us are there, also.

I was carrying a huge "Sore Loserman" sign at the Austin freep for President-elect Bush on Saturday (11AM to 6PM) and Sunday 11AM to 1:30PM.) Numerous networks and photographers focused on the sign, which thanks to Registered had a freerepublic.com tag on if the the World to see.

Many people inquired about where to get the "Sore Loserman" graphic and I told them to go to freerepublic.com and download it.

The sign got a thumbs up, honk and smile from just about everyone who saw it. It even got a few reporters to loosen up and interview me (plugged Free Republic every chance I got.)

Don't let the press lie, there were thousands of Pro-Bush supporters encircling the Texas Governor's Mansion block for 5 hours in the cold rain. Impromptu Bush supporters were also circling the block in cars throughout the day.

The ~50 liberals showed up late at 2PM and were gone by 3PM. They were so out-numbered, out-shouted and out-classed they barely got a photo-opt before skedaddling for the darker parts of Austin.

Jim, I don't want to get too mushy, but I know of no other entity that has been as influential on the turn of events in our nation as FR. I hope you realize the role you have played in energizing conservatives, confounding liberals, and moving God's hands while evil is stymied.

You have every right to be proud of the impact you have made through your efforts. It is awesome to contemplate how bad things might have gone for us the last eight years had it not been for FreeRepublic. THank you, kind sir.

They get distorted. But if you want I can transfer it to illustrator file by about monday 1-2PM.

That way anyone can blow them up to any size they want without any distortion.

They have copy of illustrator at Kinkos, just tell them what size you want and they will resize it for you, if you don't know the app.

width = 15.8"
height= 8.6"

Hope it works well.

If you want it bigger just set up your document to new size and strech the file evenly.
Leave a 1/4 of an inch from the edge for printers default
I'm sure the people at KINKOs will know what to do

Have Fun

The energy in this long thread is amazing.......... the enthusiasm and jubiliation actually brought tears to me eyes; it is a tremendously uplifting read.

A quote:

"It is the common fate of the indolent to see their rights become a prey to the active. The condition upon which God hath given liberty to man is eternal vigilance; which condition if he break, servitude is at once the consequence of his crime and the punishment of his guilt." -- John Philpot Curran: Speech upon the Right of Election (1790)

For too long this quote has seemed to be true for many conservatives ..........

NOW HOWEVER ...... WE HAVE CAUGHT FIRE ......A ROARING FIRE IS BLAZING.......

Praise God.

Jim, I am a military member stationed near Washington D.C. Sorry, can't divulge more, but support among military for Bush is outstanding, even within minorities. I am outraged that Florida and the Dem's have decided to ignore the absentee ballots from our military overseas due to "technicalities". Seems like b-shit to me! Anyway, would like to know if you have a link to a .tif or high-res .jpg file in order to create a bumper sticker of the "Sore Loserman 2000" sign. I would like very much to get my hands on several of these to pass along to my fellow patriots. Thanks for all your help.

Actually, Instead of having a massive rally in Washington on Inauguration day, it would be smarter to have one on the day the Electoral College meets: it will discourage Bush Electors from switching their votes, and would encourage Gore Electors to think twice about supporting the least popular president the U.S. has ever had. Besides - don't you think the Democrats aren't already planning their own demonstrations that day "On the Mall"?

Thanks! BTW, today's Des Moines Register has a nice color photo, credited to Charles Arbogast of AP, captioned

Opinion in Florida: Brenda Olthoff of Chicago, a supporter of George W. Bush, demonstrates in Palm Beach, Fla., Friday.
The lovely Ms. Olthoff is holding a Sore/Loserman 2000 poster, with the caption "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH" in large red letters. Since it's an AP photo, I'm sure that it's spread worldwide. This is a wonderful thing to see; the greater the tide of ridicule and derision for Gore and Lieberman the better.

I live in a heavily Jewish area in Los Angeles. Outside of a local supermarket I saw two old Hacidic Jewish men with the hats and the curls on the sideburns, sitting on a bench and looking at a newspaper with a picture of the "Sore Loserman" sign. They were speaking in yiddish and saying "sore loserman ha, ha, ha." Laughing quite hysterically. Apparently even some Jews find Gore and Lieberman to be crybabys.

Today, about 30 people gathered on main street in front of the court house and 10 in front of the Post Office in protest of the DemoRats. Local news covered us and got a kick out of the Sore-Loserman signs which I printed off of FreeRepublic. They were the hit of the rally!

Seeing the Hammer & `sick`le reminds me of "Warning Signs" by Joe Caruba {I think that's the right name}, an article on www.pipebombnews.com

Did you know Alwhore's sponsor Armand Hammer was actually named by his commie father {close pal to Stalin & Company} after the symbol of the communist party? Their real name was Heimer.

For those who are not familiar with your other work (such as the AWESOME Keyes posters), why not post a link so that they can see you are not just a one-trick pony?

Or, if you are to humble, someone else can do it, instead.

I noticed that Sore/Loserman is on the front page of the Washington Post. Did they get permission to do that or is that covered as fair use ? Can this be part of a counterlaw suit ?

Honestly, it's probably fair use. In any event, before you can enforce a copyright claim, it must be registered.

I am very happy to see FR involved in this. "Sore/Loserman" was a stroke of genius that will be remembered a long time.

Hopefully Gore will fight this out to the bitter end, ending his political career in brutal and permanent fashion for the good of the world.

For any protest, you should send a press release a few days in advance of the protest to the AP Daybook editor. I sent out a release for the Students Against Sore Loser protest in front of the White House and due it being in the daybook, we had every major media outlet there in full force. It did help however, the Fla. Supreme Court had ruled 30 minutes prior, so we fell into the oodle-loop of breaking news. Here in DC the AP Daybook editors number is:: (202) 776-9400 and their fax is: (202) 736-9699. The daybook is a service the AP provides to alert news outlets as to what is going on that day. Your best best is to call your AP Bureau and get their fax number! Send the fax and follow up with a call to make sure they got it. They will post it in the daybook and walla -- you may have a huge press turnout.

Hi Jim - I do the website for the Republican National Committee's donor groups and thought you'd like to know that I posted a link to FreeRepublic.com and where to go to download and print the large-format Sore Loserman posters on our sustaining members site. (folks who give $25 or more). We thought our members would be interested! (I've got one in my office window here in liberal Democrat Alexandria, Va.):-)

To check out the site, go to www.RNCFC.org and click on the link at the top for the sustaining members site (no password required for this one).

By the way, we're still raising money to cover the costs of RNC's participation in the apparently endless spate of recount related lawsuits, in particular the issue of the military vote.

Click on the banner or here to find out more.

With news reports suggesting that more than 400 convicted felons were not purged from the voter rolls in Palm Beach and voted, it strikes me as the ultimate injustice that, if you carry a gun in defense of your country, the Democrats don't want you to vote, but if you carry a gun to the 7-11, then that's just fine. As Margaret Thatcher once said, "It's a funny old world....."

All the best,
Kathryn Coombs

The website www.bushcountry.org actually gives away free Bush Country Bumper Stickers. They ask for a nominal charge in order to cut down on their postage and web site cost. You can buy in bulk too at very reasonable prices. You can tell they are not interested in making a buck, but in getting the word out. Good luck!

I am a 'collector buff' on old items, any type of item and may I suggest that All get a couple of these and put them in your attic for you kids, they will be worth something one of these days. To me however, they are worth a million dollars now. Couldn't make a better statement.

To: Registered, Jim Robinson & All

I want to thank Jim for the forum and Registered for the graphics.

I attended a local Republican function this evening and had printed a number of Registered's beautiful graphics on labels.

I was the hit of the party.

I'm so happy I didn't just do them for the 3 of us that were attending together. I ran out of them with in 15 minutes - I didn't print enough!!!!

On one hand I am disturbed that no one knew where they were coming from - but I'm real happy that I let a lot of folks know about FreeRepublic.com.

I want everyone to know about FR - and I'm really disappointed that I am the only one from Delaware - I'm trying to get others to be here!!!!!
