Folks, we are not through when GWB wins. In fact, we're just continuing with the ongoing the battle against the liberals and socialism. And FR.com business cards are one of the best vehicles to inform more of the public. I've had my own FreeRepublic.com business cards for years. In fact, since Nov. 1998. And business cards are so inexpensive.
Just go to your favorite printer and a box of 1000 should cost only $20 or so (that's movie and popcorn money, everyone of us can spare that).
On my next box of 1000 FR.com cards, I'm having them printed up as follows, with three key urls just below FR.com, to help bring folks up to date - real quick:

I use a two sided business card.

The front promotes my business and the back has "***FREE TICKET***" on it

Below that it says in smaller letters.

"It's not good for anything, but its free"

I give them out at home shows and fairs. Everybody gets a kick out of it, and hardly anyone throws them away.

I'm wondering if I'm the only one still doing this ...... my husband and I are each keeping a red marker handy so we can mark each and every bill we get hold of. And he's out of town this week at a convention where he will be passing the idea on to hundreds and hundreds of others. It's a business convention but the members tend to be conservative.

So far all my paper bills, all my utility bills, my documents at work, The town water tower, Bill boards, newspaper boxes and the rear window of my camper shell......In the last two weeks I've made the best of taggers look like amatures and if Gore'bochov steals this election I'll put one on his Butt if I get the chance !!

Better idea than the one I had - was going to print out our address on slips of paper to give out at the rallys in SD. So many people want info on the next rally and don't know where to get it. I like the business card idea better and will do that in the future.

Do you have some kind of linkable format to use to print cards on a PC or to put on a floppy to take to the printer.

I am assuming you have a design for the cards different than what you posted up at the top, but maybe that is the design?

Also, is it possible to make those links clickable? Ok ok, that was kind of silly

I found a way to advertise "Freerepublic.com" as well. I had envelope self-stick labels printed. They say, "Tired of managed news and media lies" FREEREPUBLIC.COM There's an American Flag enblem just to the left of the text. They were very inexpensive.

As you know, I get through to C-Span - - ALL THE TIME. Of course.

Folks, it costs only two or three bucks for a call to C-Span - and doing so will help combat the liberal press and liberal networks!

Folks, I was absolutely determined to get through to C-Span and over the past two years I've gotten on C-Span 8 times in later months of 1999 and 14 to 15 times in 2000 (and three times so far this year).

Let me take a guess a what all of these calls cost me - - probably $2 each.....or so, thus - - forty eight dollars or so. Now all of that was less then my Nov., 2000 contribution to FR.com of $50 and that $50 was $50 that I could not really afford...so I did the unconservative thing and put that $50 on my credit card. What I'm getting at is that if I can donate $50 to FR.com....surely you folks who are reading this, who can afford to donate any amount to FR...Please Do So.

Good idea, but you might want to be careful who you give them to, would't want some of the disrupters to get a hold of them....... they would surely give FR a bad name,

My advice to combatting media bias is to a) think critically b) read, watch and listen to a diverse amount of news sources c) absolutely use freerepublic.com d) watch fox everytime you can. e) apply the concept Ronald Reagan borrowed from the late Soviet Union: "Trust, But Verify."
