If you go back to Arkansas, and you look at the Secretary of State's office, anybody that's ever run for office in recorded history, you can find out who their major campaign contributors are since day one, except for one person: Bill Clinton's records at the Secretary of State's office disappeared."

Yes, he said this to an aide when they were discussing the need for more money to fight AIDS. They were already spending over $4.5 Billion annually at the time and he got upset over the request for more. This was about 10 years old but I recall the quote from the newspaper.
