Greetings to all this Holiday Season.
I am working in conjunction with a number of other Republican groups and individuals both locally and nationally, to establish a GOP action and e-lert organization.
This would be grass-roots, run by the members, and work in conjunction with local long time GOP activists and conservative leaders and luminaries.
We have already networked with a number of former office holders, club leaders (CRA, etc..)at events, Christams parties, etc. and have been both reading and posting info from/with area, state and National groups.
We are in the south SF Bay Area, in the 'Silicon Valley' region and the PRIMARY purpouse of this group will be, in conjunction with info postings and outreach, to assist, and help newly elected President George W. Bush in whatever way possible as we enter this new administration.
Our primary idea is that we finally once again have, by whatever margin, the majority as a party in the US House of Representatives, the US Senate, We have (of course) the Executive branch, plus the majority in the natoinal Governorships and the US Supreme Court on an idealogical basis... and we MUST do all we can to stay informed, inform as many other like-minded individuals and groups as possible and then ACT when needed to counter against the expected barrage of Democrat/Liberal attacks, mis-truths, media blitzes and general high powered, union-backed mis-information machine assaults on our new President with our OWN, well thought out and well stated counters and also pre-emptive strikes.
We can ONLY do this with involvemnet and input from as many intetrested and concerned Republicans as possible!...
This will, we hope, both keep people informed, active, and work toward furhter building a LARGER GOP majority in 2002 and retaing the White House in 2004.
The election is finally over, no the "ground war" begins.

Greetings to all of you this Holiday Season! Please keep us updated here of activities that we can get involved in to help President Bush. Sorry to be so picky but please do a spell-check on your posts before you post them here.
To me, the number one issue is reforming the voting system. If everyone has to re-register and show a picture I.D., that will take a big chunk out of the Democrats, especially here in CA.
I second your motion, General. It is especially important here in Florida that only citizens be allowed to vote and that legally registered voters vote only once!
Thank Janet El Renio Personally for this debacle!
When she was US attorney in Miami, SHE emptied Krome detention center and SHIPPED all those Cubanos to BOTH LEFT COASTS, at taxpayer expense, what else, and, they vote the Latino way=EARLY & OFTEN & preferrably, IF YOU ARE DEDD, you get to vote inumerable times...
Amen...I don't know what your interest level is in making this thing happen, but I am hoping to get some individuals together to actually make it happen. There seems to be a lot of desire to make electoral reforms happen but there doesn't seem to be any leadership. If its out there and I just haven't found it yet please, anyone, point me in that direction so I can help out.
I was on some kind of e-mail alert list during the campaign (E-Champions or something like that). Is that going to continue?
First thing you can do is start voting Republican. What electoral reforms are you talking about? Electoral college reforms? I would only support possibly dividing California. Regarding voting reform, I, too, need guidance as to what can be done. Of course we have to write the Republicans in Congress and urge them to take action. Maybe we should get some posts going which outline who people should be writing to and what we are asking for.
I agree, and I agree! (spell-check and let us know how we can help!) The spell-check thing is minor, but I am a teacher and my students learn that they have to check their work because they are much more likely to be taken seriously and as having integrity if they have "done their homework," and this includes how they choose to present themselves through the written word.
As for helping GWB, I agree with what the above authors have said, but then no indication is given as to how we are to help! We must be in an action mode for the next 4 and hopefully 8 years, because if we don't, in 4 years Hitlery Crinton will be madame president, the way the demonratic party is sounding...

The Metairie, LA grass-roots organization, the Bush Victory Squad, founded by Patriot1 and myself 18 months ago for the purpose electing George W. Bush as President of the United States, enthusiastically supports your call to action. We too have tremendously expanded our network of emails, calls to local talk shows, personal phone calls, and automatic phone calls in conjunction with our protest and victory rallies in support of George W. Bush. The patriots who support our organization are ready and willing to come to the aid of our great President whenever he needs us. Now that our goal of electing George W. Bush as President has been realized, we can turn our attention to ensuring the success of his Presidency and the restoration of our great country.
Please connect this to my egroupers!
>>>To me, the number one issue is reforming the voting system. If everyone has to re-register and show a picture I.D<<<
Bump Piddy Bump!! Couldn't agree more. Lets all get behind this movement.
>>>There seems to be a lot of desire to make electoral reforms happen......point me in that direction so I can help out!<<<
Try www.register2002.org. There was a thread on this topic and somone is starting up this organization. They are just getting their act together - but I check in every so often to monitor their progress. If you hear of any other organizations like this - post it on FR.
This is a cause I can get behind. We've been had in too many elections for too long....Never Again!!

You are a nut-case!
Keep your un-informed racist remarks to yourself. If it were not for the Cuban-Americans you would be saying President Gore right now dope.
www.register2002.org takes me to a domain name registration site. Could you recheck the site name and repost? Thanks -
I, too, an anxious to see the voting system improved. It needs to be cheat-proofed. It needs safeguards to prevent political machines from manipulating it to favor their candidates. I also think we need to begin now to increase the Republican edge in both houses of congress.
Sorry SF - just never looked at the URL my browser was using for them.
Try http://www.geocities.com/register2002org/. That ought to do it.
You can also e-mail them at register2002org@yahoo.com! On their site they have a way to sign up for their e-mailing list, articles and other stuff. Looks like they are real...and realer in the future!!
I will accept any form of service you need. The liberal attacks on the new administration have already begun in full force. The Dallas Morning News published several anti W letters to the editor already (several in todays issue), MSN.com's homepage service is totally Anti-Bush and it appears that Excite.com is also on the offensive. Are these people all stupid or are they "on the take"? I was just reading that one of those idiotic animation shows "Southpark" will attack the daughters of W, as oversexed out of control lesbians. Hollyweird, Coliforma. President Elect Bush, Have a great Christmas at the ranch. We're looking out for you.
..."I also think we need to begin now to increase the Republican edge in both houses of congress"....
What good does a "Republican edge" do when they continue to vote the way they do? You could have all Reps and Senators be GOP, but if they continue voting the way they do, you've won nothing! Look at all the latest appropriations bills....they've voted to spend even more than the Pervert requested. And that is just for starters....try looking at some of the "drug control" bills they've been pushing....your rights and my rights are being violated by the "R"s just as much as they were under the "D"s.
And while you and General Maximus are concerned with getting "elections" straightened out....why are you looking at the Feds...do you not realize the Dems and the Reps have been making the legislation that guarantees either one of them is always in power....whether they follow the Constitution or not! Try looking to your own State and County elections....try working with the local elections folks to get the voter rolls cleaned up.
Thanks for the fine post. Add me to your list, for updates and to help our new administration in any way I can!! Thanks.
I second the motion!!!!! Only registered voters (who are US citizens) can vote! They can only vote once!!!!
Also, only voters who are ALIVE at the time of voting are eligible to vote!!!
President George W Bush and his Team are showing excellant strategy. Continue to meet and greet and work with the real leaders in the minority groups and speak logically and forthrightly to the majority. And pop Bill and his team every chance you get. That means throw their words back in their face. Make them the butt of jokes. Don't take them seriously in public and stay a step in front of them in private.
Where is the outrage among the Democrats? In Washington.
Hollywood is going to make a campy cult movie called 'The Return of the Chad". A soap opera based on the Miami Hearld trying to relive 5 weeks in the life of Al Gore. They eventually will throw a big party when they see that he lost. But they won't know why. Casting for the Florida Supreme Court has been so easy. The problems have been great when casting for the US Supreme Court and the lawyer Olson. It is so difficult to even understand how he could have made arguments that made sense to anyone. The real sympathetic character has turned out to be the Legal Proffessor Tribe. He was so confident for Gore the first time at the US Supreme Court that everyone knew he won the day. The next night on 'Nightline' he stammered and stuttered as if he had lost his self esteem(I mean confidence). So it will be a Tragi-comedy because there is a party at the end. The real living end.
Bush/Cheney are now in the second week of their Re-Election Campaign. James Baker will be the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs-of-Staff. His partime time duties will be mining the road in front of McAuffle of the DNC.
There is going to be some disappointment, BIG TIME.
A perfect example of throwing things in the face of the Democrats is George W. putting the Washington,D.C. license plates on his Presidential limo. He is going over the head of the Demo leaders to the voters with the statement on the Plates "Taxation without Representation".
That's it brother. He knows what he has to do.
He is a THORN BUSH.
May we also begin an aggressive effort to unseat Daschle, Gephart, Bonier, and Sanchez? When they are campaigning again, rally behind their opponents, dig up dirt (a la the Demonrats), protest and defeat!! These four are the slimiest of the slime. Likewise, begin now to boycot every corporation which supports Demonrats. Don't buy Tyson products, P&G, AOL, etc. Stop going to movies, buying CD's and records. When one supports donors to the liberals, one supports the liberal ideology
General, I intend to work on the voter fraud here in California through my local GOP party too. I don't know just what I can do yet but I will give it all I got. jan
For weeks one of the members posted an article daily: "Pray for Bush."
There is an old line, "don't pray for something you are not willing to work for." The Good Lord heard us and we got what we wanted and NOW IS ALSO THE TIME TO WORK FOR HIM. We worked for him before the election. Now is the time to show our thanks by working in whatever way we can to help make the GWB presidency an overwhelming success and to reelect him in 2004. If his election was worth praying for so also is his presidency: PRAY FOR BUSH.
I am all for election reform! Some of my personal suggestions:
1. Standardized ballots and machines
2. Vote on Saturday, so those who work have every opportunity to make it to the polls.
3. Voting booths open and close at the same exact time nationwide. This would work if voting day was on Saturday....not so much if they kept it on Tuesday or any other work day.
4. Regulate Exit Pollers to stay 150 feet from the polling place. We cannot keep them away, but we can regulate how close they can be...maybe this would render them ineffective, and the networks couldn't get a good enough report to make ANY projections, false or otherwise.
Just my thoughts, FWIW
