 Iran, China to promote cooperation on oil
Tehran, Jan 4, IRNA -- Head of the Chinese Oil Company M. A. Foukai
in meeting Wednesday with Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh
called for boosting of the Iran-China cooperation in the area of the
oil industry.
According to the Public Relations Department of the Oil Ministry,
Zanganeh referred to Iran's key role in producing the oil and gas and
to China's status as the biggest energy market in the world and hoped
that the Iran-China bilateral cooperation in the field of oil and gas
would further improve in the future .
Chinese oil company director commenting on the existing grounds
for developing the bilateral relations in oil and gas called for
expansion of the Tehran-Beijing cooperation in the various fields such
as excavation and drilling of energy rich areas as well as
petrochemical industries.
Iran holds one of the largest oil reserves in the world as well
as second position in the world, after Russia, as for the gas
reserves.


Time to start drilling here...

I believe it is against US law for foreign countries to invest any significant amount into Iran's energy industry. Whoever does so is supposed to be denied access to the United States market.

It is now time for the United States to impose sanctions against China for this investment or kill the law.
