THE TOP TEN LIBERAL IDIOTS

Like itching powder ordered from the back of a comic book on the playground of life, like catsup packets under toilet seats and ink around a microscope lens, there are liberals. I give you…

1. Steven Spielberg -
Washington…Jefferson…now add Lincoln to the list of great men sullied by the supremely idiotic revisionist machine that is Hollywood. Steven Spielberg has committed some less-than-acceptable depictional offenses such as never letting on that the hero of Amistad - a slave who "fought for his freedom" - later became a slave trader himself. Now he's about to besmirch the beloved and venerable memory of Abraham Lincoln by painting him as a racist who never would have made it into the White House without his wife's connections. One would certainly THINK that this man would be elevated as a hero to peoples everywhere, but it's not to be. Shame on Doris Kearns Goodwin for penning this exposé.
2. Julia Roberts -
What ever happened to the sweet, innocent screwball from Mystic Pizza and Pretty Woman? Perhaps her good sense went the way of her flowing red tresses when she cut them off to play Tinkerbell in Peter Pan those many years ago. Whatever the explanation, she's completely flipped her lid…or is she crazy like a Fox? It cannot be a coincidence that she's suddenly beating up George Bush in as many media outlets as she can fix her gigantic smile on. While it is lovely to see all the stars coming out of the closet wearing their Republicanism proudly, Julia Roberts must feel as though she really has to impress all the liberal jerks who are going to be responsible for getting her that Erin Brockovich statue.
3. John King -
It was revealed this week that CNN White House correspondent John King, no relation to Larry King, sent a memo to CNN heads back in January complaining about how Larry King had not only emceed the Lincoln Memorial Bush Inaugural celebration, but had - GASP - hugged Ricky Martin! (I ask you, who could pass that up?) John was apparently burned up by the seemingly cozy relationship King had developed with members of the Bush administration. Hey, Johnny, where was your memo to your CNN bosses when Larry was seen as emcee in the now tiresome footage of the Denise Rich bash where she presented the saxaphone to Billy Clinton?
4. Teddy Turner -
Stuart Varney, CNN Moneyline anchor, resigned recently after Ted Turner's pronouncement at a CNN corporate meeting that those bearing the ashes signifying the beginning of the Catholic Lenten season on their foreheads were "Jesus freaks" who should all be working over at Fox News. Any of us Jesus freaks who've read Revelation know he'll bear a seal on his forehead someday, too.
5. N.O.W. -
"Will the health and well-being of women and children be compromised if some religious groups let their beliefs about male dominance intrude on their charity?" That's how NOW is getting the word out about the Bush faith-based initiative and that's what they ask in one of their press releases. This particular piece of vitriolic madness goes on to describe how "railing from the pulpit" by a Bible belt preacher caused many women in one parish to quit their jobs causing an economic depression in the area and ultimately, "wrenching divorces." Will these swooping magpies never stop attempting to panic-manipulate every single political issue?
6. P.E.T.A. -
FISHING IS MURDER! You Boy Scouts ought to know that! Those Fishing Merit Badges are training our young people to maim and brutalize animals. "Desensitizing children to the suffering of others is a dangerous lesson," or so says PETA. I can't wait until my nephew is an Eagle Scout and oh, would you excuse me for a moment while I check the salmon fillets?
7. Democrats.com -
Hopefully they'll keep limping along with that whole "poor, persecuted Bill Clinton" schtick for a while longer so I can continue to let them have it.
8. Madalyn Murray O'Hair -
It was verified this week that the remains found in a shallow grave on a ranch in Texas were that of the famed anti-school prayer advocate. Where do atheists go when they die? Hmmmm….
9. Hillary Rodham Clinton -
Fifty-one percent of America thinks you stink, according to a poll released on Saturday. Your lies and scheming have taken their toll on you and your flimsy political career. Women everywhere are relieved to be rid of the sight of you in those hideous pantsuits exiting from the Presidential helicopter at the White House every time your slimy husband disembarked. Notice how we haven't seen Laura Bush one quarter as much as we had to look at you for eight years? Figures! We finally get a first lady we LIKE and RESPECT and we never get to see her.
10. Rosie O'Donnell -
Ding, dong the witch is dead! That TV show was the WORST. We'll suffer more, but as I warned you last week, kiddies, we still have to see her on the cover of that cheesy magazine she bought. Heaven forbid she puts on that outfit she wore in Exit to Eden for a photo shoot anytime soon. Eeekkks! Run away! Run away!

11. (should be Numero Uno in a landslide). George "Little Dumbya" Bush, aka His Fraudulence. First he socks the economy with a $1.7 trillion tax cut heavily weighted towards the richest 1%, and now we learn the actual cost is really more like $2.5 trillion. All this from a guy who can't even figure out how many agreements he has with North Korea!

Murry Mom. I'll bet you don't have a husband---and he's not dead either. Probably have a few rugrats that you draw support money from the state to keep yourself in cigarets, booze, and the rugrats in mustard bread sandwiches.

How's daytime television? You'll miss Rozie O'Donnel. When you look in the mirror you'll see her twin.

Your post is mistaken in so many ways that MurryMom can't decide whether to take the time to point out the multitude of errors. Be honest, you must have been one of those gullible Republicans who believed the Clintons murdered Vince Foster, weren't you?

Murry Mom. I'll bet you don't have a husband---and he's not dead either. Probably have a few rugrats that you draw support money from the state to keep yourself in cigarets, booze, and the rugrats in mustard bread sandwiches.

MurryMom is married now, as she has been for the past 30+ years. How many divorces have you had? As many as Bob Barr, Bobdole, and Rush Limbaugh combined?

My children are cared for with funds earned in honest labor, and MurryMom does not smoke cigarettes or drink booze. Ever since the Great Prevaricator declared that ketchup is a vegetable, the thought of mustard bread sandwiches has been too distasteful for MurryMom to contemplate.

How's daytime television? You'll miss Rozie O'Donnel. When you look in the mirror you'll see her twin.

Who's Rozie O'Donnel? MurryMom does not spend enough time in front of the boob tube, daytime or nighttime, to even understand your question.

I know that people like you exist, but I didn't expect to see one of your kind here

First he socks the economy with a $1.7 trillion tax

Are you one of those people that think looting money from the productive sector of the economy (non-government)and spending it on idiotic social engineering helps the economy? Betcha think that we can tax ourselves into prosperity too. Tell me, do you think that the increased spending after a hurricane to replace the destroyed stuff is good for the economy? Bet you do.

$1.7 trillion tax cut heavily weighted towards the richest 1%,

OOOH The evil rich again. Just who do you think PAYS the most taxes? DUH it's the richest 1% The evil rich made the mistake of making correct life choices (unlike you I suspect) and now government viciously punishes them for it. You think that there is something wrong with being rich? The average hours per week worked in the top decile of richest families is over four times higher than the average hours per week worked by the lowest decile (poorest families). So you want to punish them for chosing to work hard, and reward the indolent. Spoken like a true liberal/democrat/statist/socialist/nazi.

All this from a guy who can't even figure out how many agreements he has with North Korea!

Where DO you get your material???
The tax cut is not weighted by the President's choice toward the "richest 1%;" he didn't invent the IRS system and even if the richest 1% did get the lion's share of it, they would surely put it back into the economy via jobs, and buying goods and services.
Secondly, how do you know this will cost the American people $2.5 trillion???
Where are you getting that???
Thirdly, how do you know EXACTLY HOW MANY treaties with North Korea the President is dealing with???
Are you Molly Ivins or Maddy Albright???
President Bush is not going to follow X42's North Korea policy which is Appeasement and the selling out of South Korea...
Finally, I know I don't have to tell you that our President is smart.
I will tell you that his Presidency is not Fraudulent. He received more than enough ELECTORAL Votes on Election Night (not December 13), but November 7, 2000, which is when we elected a POTUS here in America!
We all waited patiently for 35 days while your boy Gore tried to hijack the election in Florida by staging law suits, but we all knew, even you Dims, that Bush had already won long before the SCOTUS finally made them stop the chad counting in Florida!!!

MurryMOM, liberal women like you, Rosie o Donut, and Kathy Lee Gifford like to wear the fact that they are a mother on their sleeve. You've probably had a few abortions of inconvenience, but now have decided to go ahead and let one live because the kid may not totally interfere with your busy life. So now you broadcast to the world that you're a mom, but you probably spend 30 minutes a week with your kids amd have a nanny raise them just like your Hollywood freinds.

Leave my forum, liberal swine.

Ever since the Great Prevaricator declared that ketchup is a vegetable...

A little confusion here. The Great Prevaricator declared that salsa is a vegetable for school lunch purposes. It was Ronald Reagan's people who legitimated ketchup.

This is, however, one of the few issues where Clinonistas and Reaganites can agree. As you may know, there is a great, and apparently endless war between the Ms. Grundy-type nutritionists who think schoolkids should be served asparagus and tofu (and who don't really care how much ends up in the trash) vs. those who think schools should fix meals that kids will actually eat.

I'm with the latter and, as a parent, regard ketchup as God's Plan to sneak veggies into the kids. Same goes for salsa. If it's tomato based, it's as close to a vegetable as most kids will get at school and we should count it as such.

Of course, when the Reagan people came out for ketchup, it caused a media firestorm. When the Clinton people came out for salsa, it was ignored. Surprise, surprise.

Ever since the Great Prevaricator declared that ketchup is a vegetable...

I've had great success using the Reagan Ketchup Flap to wake up friends who repeat the dumb things their TV says.

The first question I ask is: "Do you seriously think the President personally selects food categories for school lunches?"

The second is "What do you think happened when the matter came to Reagan's attention?"

It's amazing how fast people become conservative once they realize that leftists think they are really, really stupid.

How about Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney, who voted no on the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, then co-sponsored on March 17, with pro-lifer Tom Manton and Jim McManus, a breakfast to celebrate a Catholic saint. Occupied - very nice nab of MurryMom seeking to loot money from the private sector people who earn it, and who work the most hours for it. Notice the arrogance implicit in MurryMom's statement of costs when she says, the actual cost is really more like $2.5 trillion

Cost to whom? In the first place the money for the next ten years has not even been collected yet (or even earned for that matter) so how can it be "given back"?

But statists and National Socialists such as MurryMom can't wait to get their greedy hands on other people's money, thinking that they are presumptively entitled to spend in advance the rewards from the sweat of someone else's brow. They are like coveteous gangsters. (On second thought - worse. Gangsters usually are not as hypocritical about their greed.) Think of it: when liberals don't get what is not even theirs they regard it as "costing them".

I don't know what motivates such typically disgusting and repulsive liberal insanity. Perhaps it's their sense of guilt - who knows? But in the end liberals can always take the EASY SACRIFICE to atone for their own guilt (translate: make themselves feel better) - more spending of other people's money.

Cordially,

I want you to explain to me what is wrong with a tax cut for the richest 1%. I mean it, I want an explanation. The richest 1% pay the most in taxes. Explain why they don't get a tax cut. Go ahead. Make it good.

I am in the poorest 5%. I will not benefit at all from the tax cut because I do not earn enough to pay federal taxes. The richest 1% deserve a tax cut because it is the RIGHT THING TO DO. I have yet to hear a single, sensible argument as to why the rich don't deserve a break.

Actually they didn't... the "ketchup as vegetable" story started out as a joke at a DC party, and some moron didn't get that it was just a joke, and proceeded to write it up as a true story...

As far as salsa goes, depending on the type and the serving size, I can see it: chopped tomatoes, onions, chiles...

MurryMom only talks about herself in the third person when she feels she is being trifled with, for example by a poster who actually believes she watches enough daytime TV to actually understand who Rozie O'Donnel is. You may be in the same boat yourself, pubby_pub, if you were not raising similar objections to that famous film critic, Bobdole, a few years back. MurryMom understands that Bobdole suffered from lack of credibility and she wishes to avoid a similar fate.

Thanx The only way tax cuts can be said to cost something is if you assume that all money belongs to the government to start with. Then tax cuts are just another form of spending. Unfortunately this obscene philosophy is running rampant in Kongress and not just among the demonazis. I notice that although MurryMom wants to get her greedy hands on what other people have worked for, she lacks the courage to come sneaking into peoples' houses to get it (after al she's still alive to post her statist drivel). She instead relies on the government's goon squads to do her work. I haven't been on here long, but I'd be willing to bet a quarterpounder with cheese (to po the peta types) that she's for gun control too.

I thought the ketchup listing popped out of the school lunch bureaucracy at the Dept. of Agriculture (and again, it was probably the right answer to the question at hand), and the dims then took out full cry after it. This is the first time I've heard it called an urban legend, but I'll check it out.

Not that I've noticed. Bear in mind, though, that most disrupters are male. Female disrupters are something of a novelty - maybe that's why they are tolerated more, if indeed they are.

Back during the post-election hubbub, I started a thread that ended up well past 300 posts. My post mentioned that I am both atheist AND conservative, and I was curious how unusual I was in that regard. I found that there are many of us here who are either athiests or agnostics.

In my opinion, when atheists die, they return to the earth, and keep the cycle of life going. No more, no less. I sometimes wish there could be more, but wishing doesn't make it so. But I respect other views on the matter. I just don't think one's religion has one whit to do with being a conservative.

Decry Ms. O'Hair for being a sniveling liberal, but please, not for her choice of religion (or lack thereof).

Regards,

I notice that although MurryMom wants to get her greedy hands on what other people have worked for

MurryMom doesn't rely upon government handouts or even an SS check to pay her mortgage and travel expenses and her daughter's college tuition. Those expenses are all paid from her own family's earnings. My interest in a strong capitalist economy is probably not much different from yours and other posters in this forum. If I considered myself a socialist or a statist of some other guise, I would withdraw from this forum (as several have recommended over the years).

People are free to be atheist, agnostic, Christian, Buddhist, etc.

What separates Ms. O'hair is that fact that she forced her religion (or lack of one) into the lives of America's children. She did this when she succeeded in eliminating school prayer from our classrooms.

People may differ on this issue, but the way that I see it is an atheist could simply not participate in "prayer time" and use that time for whatever. Now that that time is completely gone, Christians and those who choose to pray don't get the option.

Now I don't write the "Top Ten List" so I'm speaking for myself and not the author.

MurryMom doesn't rely upon government handouts or even an SS check to pay her mortgage and travel expenses and her daughter's college tuition. Those expenses are all paid from her own family's earnings.

So what. That just means that you want other the fruits of other peoples' labor confiscated without even getting a cut of it. You haven't responded to a single one of my points. Said points being

  1. What makes you think the economy would be hurt by a tax cut? If you think that taxation and spending drives the economy you are beyond ignorant. To illustrate my point suppose (as you apparently do) that taxation drives the economy. then the higher the rate of taxation, the better the economy. Therefore 100% taxation would be th absolutely best economy. And you know what, It's been tried! Cuba approaches 100% taxation. It certaintly is an economic powerhouse isn't it. Why there are droves of people in Florida who try to cross to Cuba every day.
  2. The rich pay most of the taxes; therefore a tax CUT will naturally benefit the ones who pay the most. How is this evil? If you cut taxes for people who aren't paying taxes, this isn't a tax cut this is wealth transfer ala Marx, Lenin, and Stalin
  3. You said, "My interest in a strong capitalist economy is probably not much different from yours and other posters in this forum." Not in your wildest fantasies are you a capitalist unless you harbor multiple personalities. (see number 6 below) I suppose that the late great Murrey Rothbard's comment about communists clamoring after the fruit of capitalism while at the same time vigorously denouncing it would apply to you.
  4. Do you consider the spending that is produced after a natural disaster good for the economy? A simple yes or no would suffice, although I'd like to hear your elaboration if you want.
  5. How can you consider tax cuts cost anything unless you subscribe to the theory (and you're not the only one) that everything belongs to the government, and any money that you make and are allowed to keep is just generosity on the part of the government? Serious question.
  6. Personal comment. The only three people whom I ever met who referred to themselves in the third person were insufferably pompous (2) and borderline psychotic (1) If this is the impression that you want to leave, consider that you're doing a great job.
  7. I would withdraw from this forum (as several have recommended over the years). Nah don't bother. You serve as a marvelous example of illogic.

To: Miss Marple

I especially like the fact that she is the last liberal on the face of the earth to still think that the President is stupid. How unfortunate that the democrats in Congress are starting to wise up.

LOL! Camille Paglia is generally sympathetic to little Dumbya and his misguided policies. Here are some quotes from Camille's latest column, showing how she has wised up to little Dumbya's awkward utterances.

Back in Washington, the 2-month-old administration of George W. Bush is still getting its bearings. For every advance in order and dignity (compared to the vulgar antics of the money-grubbing Clintons) there's been an unsettling false note -- like the weirdly muted handling of Vice President Richard Cheney's cardiac episodes, which certainly look like emergencies and threaten to have a destabilizing effect abroad.

Cheney's intelligence, experience and political aptitude are unquestioned. But Bush showed poor judgment and lack of independence in selecting him for vice president in the first place. Cheney should properly have been a Cabinet secretary or principal White House advisor. His weary, phlegmatic, public manner gives a dispirited aura to what should be a vigorous new administration.

As for Bush himself, I continue to lament his lack of communication skills, which has let Democratic aspersions about his intelligence and preparation gain steam. When news first came of the Seattle quake, it was embarrassing to witness Bush's stark inability to address the nation in a simple, natural way. At a podium hastily set up on the tarmac before he boarded Air Force One, Bush bowed his head like a desperate schoolboy as he read off generic expressions of sympathy and concern from a small square of white paper. "Oh, for heaven's sake, just wing it!" I sputtered at my TV set at home.

Miss Marple meekly alleges that the Dems are "wising up" while Camille Paglia willingly admits that Dem criticisms of little Dumbya are "gaining steam" because the puny presidential pretender is so ill-prepared for his job. Who should Murry Mom believe?

Actually, this Spielberg/Lincoln thing concerns me a bit more than the usual leftist idiocies because of the rumblings about reparations for blacks circulating college campuses and other bastions of leftist drivel-----such as Follywood. This movie may be the first of many infomercials we the sheeple are about to be exposed to in support of this reparations movement. Their first order of business, it seems to me, would be to put forward the idea that Lincoln wasn't concerned about slavery as part of the Civil War agenda and thus, their issue (of slavery) remains unrequited.

MM...Guess who pays ALL the taxes...c'mon now think... (I know that is hard for you liberals...)

Have you guess it? The answer is YOU DO! REALLY! No matter WHO they tax or how much, the LITTLE PEOPLE PAY ALL OF IT! in the form of high prices for goods AND lost jobs. Take away a coupla hundred grand from a rich person and he'll survive without that new yacht- but the poor guys who would have BUILT that yacht will go hungry.. and you know that corporate tax??? GUESS WHAT- It gets ADDED TO THE COST OF THE PRODUCT!

So you see (or probably don't) Big govt takes jobs out of the private sector and makes poor people pay higher cost for bread and clothes etc.

And by the way- the richest 400 people in the country pay more taxes than the poorest 20 million COMBINED

So think MM, do you want MORE govt program like welfare? that lose 73% of the money that is supposed to go to poor people(GOVT. OWN FIGURES!), or low-income housing projects (ug- would YOU want to live in one of them??? they don't either)

I did a study once of a govt housing project in Buffalo- for all the money they spent on a low-income housing project they could have GIVEN every person a $60,000 house- and this project was being torn down because it was dilapidated.

The people who give you the auto burueau? They can give you the same quality serivce in health care...

MM I am not going to tell you you have to believe me..., I just ask you to THINK for chrissakes...and find out FOR YOURSELF

George "Little Dumbya" Bush, aka His Fraudulence. First he socks the economy with a $1.7 trillion tax cut heavily weighted towards the richest 1%, and now we learn the actual cost is really more like $2.5 trillion.

Apparently you are a genius. When you give a cashier $20 for a $10 item and she gives you $10 back, do you think you just cost the store $10? Study up on the word "surplus" today and then see if you are able to discuss the economy with a little more sense.

That's funny, Clintoon didn't pay off the deficit and the economy wasn't tanking. Gee, I guess the two aren't related. It's an interesting equation to ponder, MurryMom, but handing our income over to the government is not what stimulates or builds the economy. Having more of our income to toss around as we please DOES stimulate the economy. That's the logical equation.

Near as I can tell there are three reasons why people are against tax cuts

  1. They're parasites who live well on the labor of others - politicians, bureaucrats, government "workers" etc.
  2. They are stupid and don't realize that all taxes do is let someone who didn't work for it spend your money
  3. They are people whose moral compasses are so bizarre and warped that although they realize that government is greedy, wasteful, dangerous, destructive, and utterly irresponsible, they still worship power so much that these evils appear good to them.
I'm not sure which category murry fits in, although her habit of referring to herself in the third person would give some circumstantial evidence toward some sort of mental distortion.

Should you be president by virtue of a master's degree? Of course not. Does Bush's good performance at the best graduate business school in the world cast serious doubt on your "Dumbya" moniker? Yes, it does. Is Bush's expertise in business matters a welcome change from the economic ignorance of (mostly crooked) Democrat lawyers? It is.

It would make many of us a lot more comfortable not to have to read this continual carping at the man who is our President!

I NEVER voted for Bubba or for Gore.I fought the Gore coup attempt with every bone in my body.
With the pardons and his plea bargain, 42 proved to even his own supporters that he was corrupt and that all of the accusations made against him during his presidency were TRUE.
I come here, a Conservative website where we endorse the Bush Presidency and Administration. I support President Bush and the GOP/Conservative platform.
If I went to Democrats.com and said what I thought of the Toons, Gore and the Liberal agenda, they would be even LESS TOLERANT than we are here to you and your rant.

Nobody knows what the surplus is going to be. The fact that there IS one means the government actually can't spend all of the money they are collecting.

Clinton sure as Hell wasn'r concerned about deficit spending, and raised taxes and STILL spent more than he earned. Remember when the Republican congress tried to get him to sign a balanced budget agreement? HMMM? Do you remember what he and Gore said? Do I have to remind you? He couldn't keep his stories straight as to when we might balance the budget. Then it just fell into his lap.

The economy was doing so well in spite of the Great Prevaricator (X42), that they actually began to collect more than they could spend, not that they didn't try.

Where do you get off lying through your teeth about Reagan and W? It is imbecilic on your part to even start to think you could float your crap in this fine, clear pool of righteous thinkers! I sincerely hope that some common sense manages to soak into your cranial vacuum before you pass on into the great gray tide of old Democrat fogeydom.

Just a small note of correction: Gore is not a lawyer. He flunked out of every post-graduate exercise that he undertook, most likely in a haze of cannabis smoke.

Still hanging around this thread, I see. Not the same smug, hit-n-run poster you were before...

This is a very good sign.

Long time no see, MurrayMom. Are you Ron Klink's wife?

MM, I have TWO Master's degrees, including an MBA, like President Bush and if you think it was easy to get, THINK AGAIN!
So, yes, I have 2 Master's--so what??? You're still rude and your opinion is boring and tiresome!

You're still rude

Maybe so, but at least I'm not an intolerant hypocrite who violates the policy of this Board against vicious personal attacks.

You demonRATS need to get over it, its not healthy to keep all that anger bottled up inside of you. If you continue with all that anger, for the next 8 years, can you imagine how sick you will be?

Pardon me, but you're the one making vicious attacks!
I believe I personally and others here have been more than polite in asking you to refrain from your vicious attacks on the Conservatives.
We don't come here to here OUR President gratuitously abused!
Even your boy Gore said that Bush would be "my President."
Which part of "Conservative forum" don't you understand?

No, I'm not that lucky.

BTW, what is Ron doing now that his HR seat has been usurped by Melissa Hart? I'm surprised not see him back in the public limelight with a nice broadcasting job at KDKA or maybe even one of the national networks.

Thanks for the correction, mumbo, I had the mistaken idea that he had finally passed the bar exam.
