Thanks... bookmarked.
Thanks for looking.... I'm surprised so few have commented; I thought we were more paranoid than that!
Do you remember how back during the Y2K 'scare' there were some cities where underground bunkers were set up and cameras were installed throughout the cities as a precaution? I wonder if they still have them and if they are still operational.
Thanks for looking.... I'm surprised so few have commented; I thought we were more paranoid than that!
They're too wrapped up in the latest DC soap opera to notice they're losing their freedom...

Sometimes modern life causes me to think I'm living in a Marx Brothers' movie- I see DiFi wants a Federal law outlawing more than 2 drinks on an airplane--
Lamar Alexander had the right idea... cut their pay in half, and send 'em home half the year to live under the stupid laws they subject us Peons to....
Stanley Kubrick is more like it...
You are right- the Marx Bros. humor is missing from modern living!
Good resources for you.

Thanks for your work on this subject, this is a great source of info.
Even after they catch you, it's not over:
Tracking system keeps never-blinking eye on offenders
(satellite monitors for criminals)The yellow dot follows Roberto Molina everywhere like a spotlight from the skies.
"There he goes," said senior corrections and probation officer Shawn Satterfield Friday as the dot on his computer pinpointed the street Molina was taking on his commute from his night-shift job at a warehouse.
"He's on his way home, going 44 miles an hour," Satterfield said, studying the map grid on his computer screen. "We know that he worked all night, never left the warehouse, and he's going straight home."
Molina, on house arrest for aggravated battery, is one of 35 offenders in Palm Beach County whose daily life is tracked by satellites orbiting above the earth. The state Department of Corrections has been using the global positioning system technology for two years. . .
This is ridiculous- Kafka & Dick together couldn't write stuff like this!
Kafka was a hack. Dick a genius. The difference was religion. The former had none; the later was trying to figure it all out.
No wonder my teachers in HS loved Kafka and never mentioned PKD.
I know what you mean- Science-fiction's always played second fiddle despite having some of the best writers in any field.
Philip Dick is the best American writer since Mark Twain. Try saying that in any HS or college in America. But it is a fact.
I used to look forward to the release of every new PKD book like a little kid....
I must run, the dog's telling me she's "gonna bust!" if we don't go out.... but I think of fine writers like him, or Roger Zelazny, of even Rex Stout, who rarely get mentioned in literary circles, and then think of the "hot hack de jure" that we're supposed to lionize and worship, and I do a slow burn....
