About that "shepherd carries a lamb" concept from Isaiah - I've heard it said that sometimes a shepherd will break the leg of a rebellious, straying lamb, then carry it until the leg heals. Put it another way, if you're His child, don't run from Him - you'll only be tired when He catches you!
