The ex-United States Attorney General who stonewalled congressional investigating committees; who refused to appoint an independent counsel to investigate the illegal campaign contributions to the 1996 Clinton-Gore campaign and the Democratic National Committee, including cash from the Red Chinese; who contorted federal law to block an independent investigation into Al Gore's illegal fundraising activities at a Buddhist temple, in the White House Map Room, and in the Old Executive Office Building; who obstructed the investigations of Independent Counsels Kenneth Starr, David Barrett, and Donald Smaltz; and who oversaw the disastrous siege at Waco, wants to be Florida's governor.

I'M DOING IT FOR THE CHILDREN!!!
Oh yes, there is.......just vote, Baby!
Intrepid prediction: Jeb wins by a fifteen point margin.
How I would love to load up on the buttered popcorn, candy, and Coca-Cola and sit for hours watching the "Reno hearings" live from Capitol Hill. Hopefully she'll get hammered like Clarence Thomas did way back when.
The only thing sweeter than that would be to witness justice being served to none other than the Dragon Lady herself.
The bit*h will run hard enough to win the primary, yet will fail in the general for one reason: people reelect successful governors. Democrats who are in the know, and this does not count those ass-clowns over at Chimpworld, must be privately wondering how they are going to beat Jeb. Jeb will campaign hard and relentlessly. Janet will soak up all the campaign dollars that could go to defend seats in Wisconsin and South Dakota, among others. She will lose, probably by five to seven points. Indeed, I am ready to predict now that Jeb will take Miami-Dade County, and will run stronger in Broward than is generally thought of right now.
The 2000 and 2002 races are two different events with two different sets of candidates. Jeb has the advantage over his brother in that he is a known and liked quantity here in Florida. GW Bush was simply known as some guy from Bumfork, Texas, who happened to be Jeb's brother. The only reason GW won here was that the state party apparatus woke up in time to win the state from a concerted Gore campaign.
There's no chance of that happening this time. The plan to reelect Jeb began to get underway when GW took the oath of office. They've got a Florida working group that responds directly to Karl Rove and the President, and they're polling this thing six ways from Sunday.
And yet despite all that, I think that you'll find that Jeb will campaign his heart out, taking nothing for granted. That's what winners do.
Oh, and as a side benefit, Katharine Harris will win her congressional race in a romp.
Be Seeing You,
Chris
Hmmm..........hey, what am I saying?????!!!!
Wow..that is some record. I think she should go for it.
