What the hell kind of life do these people live?! They're having a civil war over the kind of crap you wouldn't buy from a garage sale!

This post is just a cautionary tale about how warped a human mind can become by accepting local, insular values insteading of figuring out that there's a great big world out there where the thought of killing someone over a "stash" that wouldn't stock a WalMart is totally insane. Mark W.

Are you ignorant enough of history that you don't know of the strife that has gone on in this region of India for centuries?

I'm not sure why you have such a hard-on for Muslims. Why don't you start talking about the Christian Albanian and Serb militias in the Balkans and what they are doing these days?

How about the Protestant Unionists and the IRA, killing innocents in the name of religion (supposedly)?

How about the crusades, when the streets of Jerusalem ran red with Muslim blood courtesy of the noble Christian knights of Europe?

Selective amnesia, I guess.

The game is the same in every country where Islamic Fundamentalists are trying to change the cultures of already inhabited lands. This has more to do with thinking backward from the 18th century than catching up to the modern world. They seem to be the people that time forgot. Except, of course, their *leaders* who live fat, luxurious lives at their expense. I don't know if the people who are deliberately deprived by these leaders will ever figure it out. It is frightening none the less.
Those who say it can't happen here are not paying attention.

Occupied Kashmir, Occupied Chechnia, Occupied Kosovo, Occupied Palestine, Occupied Macedonia, Occupied Timor, Occupied Phiillipines... Everywhere "innocent islamic civilians" are killing "opressors" and when they got killed they are innocent. Radical islamist terrorists use thier own women and children as a shield, or instruct children to fight for them. Read radical islamic web sites, they are VERY good soource of information and tactics. Storyline always follow radical islamic boilerplate, tuned to suit "humanitarian" ears of the liberal west. Think of Racak "massacre" and "massacre" in Kashmir village on the eve of Clinton visit to India. (available in FR archves)

Humanitarians in the West react only on several words: "innocent islamic civilians killed, women raped, babies dead". Humanitarians DO NOT react on "innocent Christian (HIndu,Jewish) civilians killed, women raped, babies dead". This is sickening.
Radical islamists are taking advantage of it. It is not their fault, it is fault of our societies and the blame is on scumbags among us who make their ploy possible.

"Humanitarians" among us DO ENCOURAGE KILLING of innocent people with their selective approach to the truth.

No. Just selective reading on your part. At one time or another I have mentioned all of these including. And having a hard on for anything would be very difficult for me. LOLOL
I don't have much respect for the Crusades in any case. The EuroChristians didn't exactly treat my people with respect either. Remember Torquemada?

Coming to a neighborhood near you...and everywhere else. Every day we sit and hear about Israel, while the rest of the worldnews is kept under a blanket. Wonder why?

>>>>Every day we sit and hear about Israel, while the rest of the worldnews is kept under a blanket. Wonder why?<<<<<<

I don't know but suspect. Lebanon fell a while ago, Cypus is occupied, Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East remaining. The last stand.

Think about "Risk" played with real people.

Prison camp China ( 1 billion slave labor) produces cheap goods for Oceania.

Islamistan produces oil and brainwashed maniacs ready to destabilize Russia or Europe, Oceania's strategic adversaries.

Sheeple of Oceania are bribed with cheap goods and cheap gas, with capacity of critical reasoning not much different to those in Islamistan. They do not care what will happen with their children in their own lifetime and they let their Republic crumble.

Life is good as long as sheeple is under control. I believe that's why other world news are under wraps.

Thanks Heaven for FR

IF the "Establishment" is as well organized as you suggest (and I'd be the last person to argue that they're not) THEN aren't you being a little short sighted about the FreeRepublic?!

In your scenario, with some people being "bribed" with cheap gas" and "cheap goods," wouldn't the FreeRepublic just be the kind of "conceptual" bribe that the Establishment would put in place to "bribe" thinking sheeple? (And wouldn't it be a perfect place and means for gathering information about what's on the minds of the angry, activist sheeple?) Mark W.

Mark, I am not short sighted, you expanded my point eloqently. FR cuts both ways, we learn about them also.
I have often been in situation to hear my own words coming back from the very same people who opposed my views earlier.
The truth needs some time to get through.

Is FR playpen for thinking sheeple or correction facility for establishment apparatchiks, let Freepers decide : -)
