With his brother Jeb and Education Sec. Rod Paige, President Bush headed to Florida today to begin promoting his education agenda. He stopped by Justina Elementary School to take part in a 'leadership forum' where he called for a 'war on illiteracy' even as worries about the weak economy began to push them down the political agenda. Before he headed to the Sunshine State, the President met with Australian Prime Minister John Howard, who was presented with a bell from the USS Canberra, built in 1943, and named in honor of the Australian ship HMS Canberra.
