Arafat Was Connected With First WTC Bombing

Israeli intelligence had evidence that Yasser Arafat was involved in the planning of the first World Trade Center bombing in New York in February, 1993. Moshe Peled, Israel's Deputy Education Minister in the Netanyahu government, declared in early 1997 that he has information connecting Arafat to the Sudanese terror network responsible for carrying out the WTC bombing.

CIA representatives met in Israel with Peled to discuss his information. Similarly, E-Kihan, the official Iranian government newspaper, accused Arafat of responsibility for the first WTC bombing. The Jerusalem Post reported in March 1997 that Yonah Alexander, a Pentagon consultant on terrorism, said, "Arafat continues to maintain a training base in Sudan where the Fatah people work closely with the regime and with Iran.

If there hadn't been an agreement with Israel, then Fatah would definitely have been on the U.S. list of terror organizations." The FBI later arrested two Sudanese diplomats in connection with planning the attack, in which six people were killed.

Arafat pushed off his meeting with Syrian President Assad, which was scheduled for today, by a few days.

IMHO, yesterday's attack gives Israel a free hand to act. If there is ONE more incident, then the IDF moves, big time..

PRESIDENT BUSH SPEECH 09-11-01 PARAPHRASED

We will identify who did this action. We will locate them. We will find out what government and country permits them to exist, either through direct or indirect support.

We will consider any country that helps them, even if it is through inaction, to be associated with these individuals. This was an act of WAR. We Americans will treat this as WAR.

The individuals whom did this directed this operation from a patch of land. Every patch of land is defined by a country. Once we identify that country, that country will experience the entire consequences of our anger. We will engage that country and the inhabitants of that country as enimies of the United States.

Because the United States is a member of NATO, all NATO allies are bound to participate with the United States against this country. If Congress determines that a state of war exists, the American people will support full operational activation of the nuclear weapons at our disposal.

The Premier of Russia has conviened with the President and has agreed to support the United States actions without question.

Is this shocking? haven't you heard this? Perhaps it is because you (any one not understanding the rage we Americans feel) do not understand the real consequences of this action. I don't know one American, not one, (and I live in Boston - Liberal Mecca of the Nation) who does not support Nuclear confliguration.

We must retaliate quickly but we must not make death quick and easy. It has to be painful and slow or they will not understand.Death is nothing to these people but pain will draw everyones attention. You cant fight terroist with conventional means.
