Panama issues state of alert for Panama Canal

PANAMA CITY, Sept 11 (AFP) -

Panama's President Mireya Moscoso declared a state of alert and reinforced security measures for the Panama Canal, on the heels of attacks carried out Tuesday in New York and Washington.

Moscoso said she had ordered extra security to be enforced in the locks and at both the Atlantic and Pacific entrances to the canal.

Both the president and the Panama Canal Authority confirmed that transit through the canal, which some 38 ships transit daily, would be normal within the state of alert.

Panama is also stepping up security around the US and Israeli embassies in the capital, and will reinforce security also in Panamanian airspace and at airports, she said.

Incorrect sympathizer jade. The two links you provided do not take us to a Thread III. J_accuse started these threads with his Thread 1 and he continued on with thread 2, but now - now j_accuse wants to stop these threads - and steer readers to some other topic. Why is j-accuse backing-off so fast? (I see his post - that he now, all of a sudden wants to discontinue posting new threads for Chinese Soldiers at the Panama Canal- Live Webcam...and he wants me to do the posting -I sure will.)

Yes, our pal j_accuse has tried to pull a fast one. Sure did. But, it didn't work. Here's whats happened:
In j_accuse's article, "Chinese soldiers at the Panama Canal! Live Webcam" - he posted his initial thread #1, and then later, his thread #2. But, when I posted to him that his thread #2 was full - and that we would appreciate a thread #3 - he posted this thread - instead - and notified me by FR mail that "Chinese soldiers.....Webcam" was now" ready:

Here is a copy of the FR mail j_accuse sent me on Sept. 18th - informing me that thread #3 for Chinese soldiers at the Panama Canal! Live Webcam" was ready:
