Still deep in debt from his unsuccessful Senate campaign, Rick Lazio is using a caustic fund-raising letter bashing the winner, Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) and her husband, former president Bill Clinton, in an attempt to turn lingering resentment of the two into cash for him.

"I wish I could shake your hand,

He stood up to Hillie the carpetbagger and that's all that counts. No matter how much the Clintons are bashed, they deserve worse.

However, I do admit to having second thoughts. During the campaign, I sent Lazio a modest check to support his efforts. He never sent me an ack or a thank you but, I figured, he was in deep and overlooked it. What has happened is that I now get calls and letters from every Republican and conservative group in the country asking for a check. Some of these campaigns are plain bogus. The calls are as bad as the siding or cable company calls.

Here, let me help:

Lest America ever forget why X-42, W(B)-97, and all their enablers should be hectored, hounded, and harried into silence, until "clintonese is only spoken in Hell," look here:

Compared to the corrupt Clintons, Rick Lazio is a breath of fresh air. After what this rogue duo put this country through (and who knows what else that imperious witch has up her sleeve) they deserve to be bashed the rest of their miserable days!

I wonder what became of the demand for the justice department to hand over evidence of Clinton cover ups by yesterday ? How convenient that the "controllers" got out of that one with out the use of executive privilege.

What a waste. Lazio shot himself in the foot, IMO. I donated gobs of money to his campaign but he rarely stood for the things I do. So to he!! with his debt. Until he gets his act together, he doesn't deserve to be anywhere near a seat of power.

Lazio cries that Bill Clinton charges $100,000 per speech.

Lazio must be jealous, he only charges $25,000 per speech.

BTW - If you had spelled my name correctly Tuco-bad I would have responded sooner.
