Adm. Moorer: Clinton Policies Led to Disaster

The catastrophe that struck America was the result of a decade of military cuts and the undermining of U.S. intelligence agencies, Admiral Thomas H. Moorer told NewsMax.com

Admiral Moorer served as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the nation’s highest-ranking military official, and brought the Vietnam war to a conclusion. He has served in three major wars.

Yesterday’s events brought back memories of Pearl Harbor, he said. Admiral Moorer, then a naval aviator, was present at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

Admiral Moorer made the following analysis to NewsMax, his quotes are in bold:

1. The Clinton administration had a similar view to intelligence agencies as the Carter administration. They didn’t like using spies. This is why we had no warning. "You absolutely need spies, you need them to melt into a society and tell you what is going on, you can’t rely on satellites and technology alone.”

2. The actions taken yesterday were the result of perceived weakness of U.S. armed forces. "President Clinton brought the military down and down. He made the military like it was before Pearl Harbor.”

3. The U.S. must significantly increase its use of human intelligence, that is spies on the ground in foreign countries.

4. America must remain vigilant. "This is like what Yamamoto said after Pearl Harbor, ‘A sleeping tiger has been aroused.’ We can’t just strike back and go back to sleep. Next time the attack could be even more serious.”

5. Soon terrorist groups will have access to nuclear weapons. "This is inevitable. Countries like Russia and China are providing countries like Pakistan, Iraq and Iran with this technology – the same technology Clinton gave to the Chinese.”

6. Missile defense is needed now. "The media is dead wrong when it says this proves we don’t need missile defense. Soon, the same countries that supported these terrorists that just attacked us will have missiles capable of hitting the U.S. We need to defend against their use.”

7. No additional attacks for the immediate future. ”I believe they reached the limits of their capabilities with these attacks. But they will try again later. They want nuclear weapons.

I have yet to see mainstream media address this issue except to point fingers at the Intelligence Community's "failure" to locate and stop these attacks. The Clintonista regime was hostile towards the Intel Community and almost... almost completely ruined it. Yearly budget cuts, the closing of collection stations and operational sites around the world, the mass firings and/or resignations/retirements of experienced intelligence officers. The Clinton/Gore mandate of forcing the Intel Community to "diversify" (another word for racial/gender quotas) has caused the Community to expend too much effort and resources on "social" issues rather than gathering/analyzing intelligence. Our nation is reaping what Clinton sowed and I pray we have enough time to rebuild those organizations created specifically for our nation's defense... in some respects we're fortunate this was a "mere" terrorist attack and not an undetected attack by a major country with the wherewithal for sustained effort.

Where the hell were these military types when Klintoon was in office. All I heard was them lining up to kiss his butt. Any idiot at the time wondered why one of them wouldn't stand up and show some balls and state emphatically that Klintoon and his policies were bad. I wouldn' let Klintoon clean my toilet, he's not worthy. And the whore he is married to should be shot for treason. See pictures of the bitch hugging Mrs. Arafat.

"Bitch hug?" ( You may have coined a new phrase! )

Lest America ever forget why X-42, W(B)-97, and all their enablers should be hectored, hounded, and harried into silence, until "clintonese is only spoken in Hell," look here:

-"until clintonese is spoken only in Hell!"--

The above is the picture that will result in Hillary either stepping down from the senate, or being soundly defeated for re-election. The photo is all it will take for New Yorkers to FINALLY wake up to the monster that she has always been. About the military: I think another institution that can be blamed just as sternly is the national press. What did they do for eight years? They rallied round their treasonous bastard of a president, overlooking his lack of any coherent foreign intelligence policies, etc. The press has also been complicit in the day to day drumbeat that George W. is an idiot, George W. knows nothing about foreign policy, that George W. has no clue. The terrorists struck when this country was its most divided politically in our history. The press exploited those divisions, and made the image of our president (who they still think was appointed and not elected) a very weak, and vulnerable one.

Slick willie will never pay as long as the northeast controls the media. Even ESPN's Dick Schaap said "I wish Bill Clinton was still president" during a radio interview on am 790 in atlanta yesterday afternoon.

The following describes the kind of woman we are dealing with 100%. Nothing more need be said until Barbra Olson's book comes out. And then there is Mrs. Clinton's introduction to the chapter titled "Children Don't Come With Instructions" ( from her book, "It Takes A Village" ): There I was, lying in my hospital bed, trying desperately to figure out how to breast-feed....as I looked on in horror, Chelsea started to foam at the nose. I thought she was strangling or having convulsions. Frantically, I pushed every buzzer there was to push. A nurse appeared promptly. She assessed the situation calmly, then suppressing a smile, said, "it would help if you held her head up a bit, like this. "Chelsea was taking in my milk, but because of the awkward way I held her, she was breathing it out of her nose. The woman was holding her baby upside down. From the new book by P.J. O'Rourke, "The CEO Of The Sofa", p.56

BTTT. And I hope someone asks Bubba, who's conveniently out of the country BTW, why he didn't attempt to spare us this by attacking Bin Laden in December, when Bubba KNEW where Bin Laden was.

When children ask about why this had to happen, give them this quote from Thomas Jefferson who said, "The price of liberty is eternal vigilance." This is what happens when you have a leader who doesn't care to pay the price.

I agree with your every word, and the only thing I'd add is that the media, both news & entertainment, were implicit and complicit in the rise to power of "America's First Family of Crime..."

They knew, from the beginning, what rotters the clintons were, but chose to keep flyover country in the dark. Reporters of national stature all knew about "the dirty joke governor" in Arkansas, but stayed silent about it....

Have you seen that picture of the three firefighters raising a flag at the rescue scene? I think of it as this generation's Iwo Jima. That picture says it all really, about what happens when we don't care enough to be vigilant.

I'm speechless.... and she wants to run the country? And everybody else's lives?

These are some of the repurcussions of what Billy boy reaped and what we are sowing. I also get angry at my fellow Americans that put him in office, not once, but twice !!! You didn't care about character, just your money !! Shame on you.

If "senator" Clinton isn't censured by the rest of the Senate, the possibility of her running for president may turn out not to matter much compared to what damage she may do as a Seantor in the coming days. She, and Schumer and their gang are dangerous to us now while they're in the loop.
