Police in Dillon are investigating whether the child shown bound and bruised in a photograph found in a grocery store parking lot is a boy reported missing from Florida.
The police say they've received many tips since this photograph was found outside a city market last month.
The most reliable is from Clearwater, Florida. Police there say the child could be eight year old Zachary Bernhardt. Zachary disappeared from his home a year ago.
The FBI is trying to enhance the photo of the child, to make it easier for a positive identification.
I know that he is in God's hands, no matter where he is. I wept and prayed for this little boy on Monday night, and in a waking dream I saw the hand of God upon him, as plain as day. No matter whether he is dead or alive, this little one is held in the palm of God's hand right now. I have seen it... and that I do not take lightly.
Thank you Dandelion for this...the thought of a helpless child in the hands of monsters is...I have no words to describe the feelings...
Father, I stand with Dandelion, maestro and pubmom in prayer for this dear child of Yours. Send his rescuers to him quickly. Surround him with Your strong angels, heal him of his wounds, and let someone who can help see him and call the authorities. Thank You Father! In Jesus' name...Amen!
