Bush: 'When I take action I’m not going to fire a $2 million missile at a $10 empty tent and hit a camel in the butt. It’s going to be decisive.'
Washington and the liberal media may be getting the message: George Bush is for real and he's no Mr. Nice Guy when it comes to war.
Even Newsweek's Howard Fineman, a liberal Bush-basher, has had to do a double take this week.
Writing in his column of an Oval office meeting with four U.S. Senators -- including Hillary Rodham -- Fineman described Bush "relaxed and in control."
Fineman, drawing a comparison with Winston Churchill's defiance during World War II, quoted the president as telling the Senators: "When I take action,” he said, "I’m not going to fire a $2 million missile at a $10 empty tent and hit a camel in the butt. It’s going to be decisive.”
No doubt, Hillary must have shuddered when she heard that, a clear hit on her husband's eight years of appeasement with terrorists and their backers.
Fineman says Bush is "exceeding expectations, learning on the run before our eyes. . . . his feet were on the ground, his bearings set: a late bloomer blossoming in the nick of time. ... Cheered on by voters’ hopes, he’d become, in the words of a priest at the National Cathedral, "our George”: the designated dragon slayer, a boyish knight in a helmet of graying hair."

GWB is one tough customer....during the china incident....his advisors had to literally hold him back...he is a very protective type of guy...he loves this country and all it stands for....I Thank the Lord that we have him in office....he is the best of the best....and is led through prayer and understanding....and of course factual intel....

Yes, Bush is our man of the hour, no doubt of that, hopefully he will reign in the Congress in thier overeaction when they try to take our "freedoms for SECURITY". Cross my fingers anyway.

Anyone else see Schumer and Hillary on the morning shows this morning? I've never heard suchy effusive praise from a Republican as Schumer gave to Bush. He said "I wanted to hug him, but of course I couldn't because he's the President." Never thought I'd see the day...

Absolutely wonderful. I also hope he will lead us in repentance as a nation for turning against God and instead supporting things like abortion though....as a nation we are guilty, even if we don't personally support the immorality that we have in some cases and our rejection of God in public. I just pray Bush will rise to the occassion, kick the heck out of all terrorrists and destroy their countries, then lead us in repentance to Almighty God for our national sins. It is only then that God will once again extend his mighty hand of protection.

Hah, he saw what happened to Mahty Meehan and he isn't taking any chances!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also heard Schumer say on TV the other night that when he asked for $20 billion the president said you've got it but that Western republicans didn't want NY to get the money. I would like to know exactly to whom he was referring.

Clinton involved us in more foreign actions than any President before him.
Somebody explain how bombing innocent civilians in Serbia is "appeasement."
Somebody tell the 18 U.S. Soldiers killed in Somolia that they were there "appeasing" terrorists.
