Where is Hollywood? Has anybody heard anything from them? Any fund raisers being planned by the "stars"?
Their silence is DEAFENING.

Well that slut Madonna is finally going to donate some of the proceeds from her recent concert to the families of the victims. I think her "violence begets violence" comment wasn't taken too well. Probably figures she better part with some cash to stay in the good graces of her fans.

I've been wondering about this myself.

Yeah, deafeningly WONDERFUL!
The last thing we need are those bimbos giving their opinions!
But, never fear, they will start worming their way out from under their rocks again.

Traitorous wretches are often quiet during times of war.

Probably out stocking up on guns & ammo. But seriously, I expect the blame-America-first cockroaches to come out of the woodwork any time now. I'm sure B.S. will have some briliant insights for us to ponder ... i.e. when she's done blowing Billy Jeff.

Chuck Norris was interviewed on Fox News today, but he's not a Hollywood Lefty. As for the rest of the scurvey bunch, I say as loudly as I can: WHO NEEDS THEM! I hope most of them keep their mouths shut and their heads ducked.

I think Hollywood is trying to figure out how to make movies out of this disaster, while at the same time blame Republicans, President Bush (both of them), religion, gun owners and the wealthy for the terrorist's actions.
For what it is worth, the silence is quite welcome at this time. Anything they would have to say would just add to the garbage spewed by the news anchors these days.

Maybe its time to thank Jane Fonda for her disgusting displays in Vietnam. She totally disarmed modern day Hollywood.

They're all down at the recruiting office enlisting, or donating scads of cash to the red cross, or writing pro-victory screenplays, shows and songs, aren't they? (sarcasm extreme)

I know Bruce Willis was in USA Today the other day talking about how disgusted he was by it and he cancelled a press junket because of it. Of course, he's a Republican, so I don't know where the Hollywood Libs are (excluding Arnold, Charlton, Tom Selleck, Mel, and the handful of others).

Well, Madonna spoke out against war. That's the last time I buy her records. I was tempted to buy the web-site, "boycottmadonna.org", but I have restrained myself. UGH!

Actually, there is a song in the works. I don't know much about Jacko's politics, but.. Jackson, Pop Stars Look to Aid Attack Survivors Updated 6:31 PM ET September 16, 2001 LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Reminiscent of 1985's ``We Are the World'' fund-raising effort, a group of pop stars led by Michael Jackson plan to record a new song to raise $50 million for survivors and families of victims in Tuesday's terror attack. Jackson, Destiny's Child and Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys all plan to record a new song, titled ``What More Can I Give,'' that Jackson will produce personally, according to a statement on Sunday. Other singers committed to the effort include pop sensation Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake of 'N Sync, and Mya. ``I believe in my heart that the music community will come together as one and rally to the aid of thousands of innocent victims,'' Jackson said. ``There is a tremendous need for relief dollars right now and through this effort each one of us can play an immediate role in helping comfort so many people.'' Proceeds from the song's distribution will go to a relief fund for the victims' families and survivors. The pop singer known worldwide for hit albums like 1982's ''Thriller'' and 1987's ``Bad'', is currently working on the ``What More Can I Give.'' Jackson's New York-based spokesman, Howard Rubenstein, said the song will be released as soon as possible, and more celebrity singers are lining up to be part in the effort. The effort is similar to Jackson's work on ``We Are the World,'' which he co-wrote and performed. That song, in which scores of pop stars participated, has raised $65 million for the USA for Africa fund that aids victims of starvation in Africa. ``We have demonstrated time and again that music can touch our souls. It is time we used that power to help us begin the process of healing immediately,'' Jackson said. Along with an English-language version of ``What More Can I Give,'' Jackson and the other singers plan to record a Spanish language version.

"Chuck Norris was interviewed on Fox News today..."
I saw him also and what a decent guy! I think Norris is a born-again Christian. Anyone know for sure?
Speaking of missing persons...usually when things like WTC happen our newscasters trip over themselves to interview pols and ex-pols. Anyone else notice Madame Albright hasn't been interviewed?
Freepers, please post other x-Clinton admin honchos who we haven't heard a peep from. Thank you.

Maybe its time to thank Jane Fonda for her disgusting displays in Vietnam. She totally disarmed modern day Hollywood. Actually, Ron Reagan got his political start campaigning against commies in post-world-war II Hollywood. They were trying to take over the industry clear back then. I'm glad that he can't see their victory.
