Islamic fundamentlaists last night issued a chilling call to young Midland Muslims - urging them to travel to Afghanistan and fight to the death against America and her allies. Four days after the atrocity in New York, members of the extremist Al-Muhajiroun group told a packed meeting in Birmingham that those who carried out "martyrdom operations" would be rewarded in heaven.
And they even instructed the crowd to turn on their fellow moderate Muslims in this country if they continued to back the British government's anti-terrorism stance. "Dying in the name of Islam is the ultimate sacrifice and you will be rewarded in heaven", a spokesman for the group known as Zahir, said. "If the alliance of the devil attack the Taliban, then it is every Muslim's duty to support the Afghans verbally, financially or better still - physically. The aim of everyone here today, and all the Muslims in the world, should be to achieve martydom in the defence of Islam"
About 50 mainly young Muslim men,and a handful of Muslim women who listened behind a screen, heard Zahir as he made his passionate speech at a function hall in ladypool Road in the heart of Birmingham's Balti belt. Entitled "Who are the real terrorists?" the two hour lecture began with a diatribe against the USA and its allies. Zahir accused them of butchering Muslims all across the globe from Chechnya to Iraq, but then astonishingly attacked Saddam Hussein himself for being a *puppet* of the west and not a true Muslim.
He warned moderate Muslims who had condemned last Tuesday's attack that they too, would be the target of "true Muslims."
"I was born in this country," he said. "I went to nursery,infant and secondary school,college and then university in this country. But am I British? Absolutely not. I am a Muslim first and foremost. We will never be accepted by the Kufr so we should never pander to their whims or support of their actions like some so-called Muslims have been doing. If they continue to do so, it is our duty to persuade them not to. But if they do not listen, they are Kufr too and so it is our duty to fight and even kill them"
Zahir said he believed Saudi-born millionaire about Osama bin Laden when he denied being behind the destruction of the World Trade Centre. "Why would bin Laden lie about his involvement?" he asked. "bin Laden knows the taking of civilian lives is against Islam and he would never endorse that. In the past when military targets have been destroyed, as a Mujhadeen he has proudly admitted it. He has no reason to lie. Zahir warned Muslims to prepare for a backlash against Islam and urged them to fight back. "This is a war that the West cannot win for Allah has told us so," he said. "The taking of innocent civilian lives is not allowed in Islam and there are no two ways about this - but we must put this attack in context and see why anyone would want to commit such an act against the USA. No other country has committed more crimes,murdered more innocent people, pillaged more resources,enslaved more nations than the USA,apart,perhaps,than Britain. History bears testimony that only America has ever used nuclear weapons against a civilised population." A captivated audience of Muslim youths, some sporting combat fatigues, heard Zahir accuse the media of "whipping up the masses into a frenzy against the Muslims." Last year the Sunday Mercury reported how Al-Muhajirouns called for Britain to become an Islam state so that the flag of Islam will fly over 10 Downing Street. He said Tony Blair was a "legitimate target for assassination if he ever steps foot on a Muslim land".
Scary.
I wonder whether they'll fight to the death like the "experienced, war-hardened Republican Guard". Or something.

All radical Muslims, get to Afghanistan immediately! Fight to the death! Fight until every last one of you has given your life for your cause!

A lot of the older Muslims moved to Britain because they felt there children would have more of a chance of a life, the last time there was a wide spread move to recruit Asian youngsters it caused a big split in a lot of the mosques, just imagine what spilt will be caused when the pride and joy and all I have worked for starts coming home in a nice coffin or what’s left of them.
The main threat is not us and America but the various alliances ranged against the Taliban.
The whole movement is built on a house of cards, very shaky at the bottom, the Taliban especially the so called young tigers and foreign Arab mercenaries with there Pakistani advisors are deeply resented much of that resentment has turned to outright hatred.
The Taliban need Bin Laden and others of his ilk just to control the parts of Afghanistan they already occupy, more and more of Afghanistan is waking up to realise that they have kicked out Soviet Occupation to replace it with Pakistan.
Food stocks will run out by next week a very harsh winter is coming, the Afghanistan’s will look for some one to blame, lets help with the finger pointing Pakistan and Bin Laden.
Lets stop relying on our size and technology and use the greatest weapon God gave us are brain. Let Afghanistan be a bloodbath and vortex for Pakistan and the Islamic movement, lets support the little guy on the ground

Why even fly to Afghanistan? Why not just kill his British neighbors? This is idiocy.

I thinking air-dropping relief supplies in conjunction with psyops and a popular resistance movement will turn the tide.
Maybe we can supply the pilots too. We'll have the pilots parachute out of the jet and leave a chimpanzee behind the controls.
This is not astonishing at all. Saddam Hussein has never really been a Muslim. When the Gulf War was getting under way, he re-invented himself as a Muslim to gain support from Muslims.
I presume by your screen name you're familiar with the country.
