WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Those directing their anger against Muslims in the wake of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon should be "ashamed," President Bush said Monday.
"Muslim Americans make an incredibly valuable contribution to our country," Bush said. "They need to be treated with respect."

Interesting, especially in view of the recent post noting Democrats.com claiming Bush has failed to denounce violence against innocent Muslims. I have several Muslim friends who have much to lose by the terrorist attacks - they tend to be more capitalistic than many Americans and don't want to see our economy go down (not to mention the obvious regret over lost lives).

It's great political jujitsu. Around the world, a photo op 'in the house' is gonna make just the right impression. I'm surprised more people don't see the irony here. I'm especially ashamed of that Bob Burnett guy, he could've at least taken a breath to speak out against the terrorists that blew up American kids, but he didn't, why
