(Excerpt from Politically Incorrect 9/18/01)
Dinesh D'Souza: Bill, there's another piece of political correctness I want to mention. And, although I think Bush has been doing a great job, one of the themes we hear constantly is that the people who did this are cowards.
Bill Mahr: Not true.
Dinesh D'Souza: Not true. Look at what they did. First of all, you have a whole bunch of guys who are willing to give their life. None of 'em backed out. All of them slammed themselves into pieces of concrete.
Bill Mahr: Exactly.
Dinesh: These are warriors. And we have to realize that the principles of our way of life are in conflict with people in the world. And so -- I mean, I'm all for understanding the sociological causes of this, but we should not blame the victim. Americans shouldn't blame themselves because other people want to bomb them.
Bill Mahr: But also, we should -- we have been the cowards lobbing cruise missiles from 2,000 miles away. That's cowardly. Staying in the airplane when it hits the building, say what you want about it, it's not cowardly.

Dinesh tried to explain so carefully, and Bill was dumb as a stump. Some people will never "get it."

Time for ABC to pull this show instead of worrying about showing the pictures of the WTC. They have their priorities screwed up!

Bill Maher is obviously an idiot:

Cowards are men who kill harmless women and children to further their political cause while hiding out in remote caves lest they be found and retribution meted out.

An legitimate question - what is Maher's viewership? His ratings? His audience share per time slot? I'd be very interested to know just how many people actually watch him...
I'm convinced that he went on air as a FOB favor in the first place, and I'd love to know what is keeping him on the air at this moment. If not ratings, if not numbers, then what?

As many of you know, I help with the FreeRepublic fundraisers. It is not always easy or fun sitting at a computer for hours and hours monitoring those threads. Everyone who work the threads VOLUNTEERS to do so. We spend days and weeks helping to keep FreeRepublic running.
Ask yourself these questions:
Where is the first place I go to get my news?
Am I getting any benefit from FreeRepublic?
Am I learning from FreeRepublic?
FreeRepublic is not free. It costs Jim Robinson tens of thousands of dollars to keep this forum running. There are over 60,000 registered users on FreeRepublic and only 1,000 help keep this forum running. Those who do not have the ability to donate money could help by bumping the threads once in a while. Those who who do should be ashamed of yourselves. You are a FReeploader.
Go ahead, flame me. I don't care. I contribute to FreeRepublic, and I for one do not want to see this forum dead.
If everyone who registered donated one measly dollar a month, we would never have to have a fundraiser again.

Freepers watched Mahr? I watched his brief comment about Barbara Olson and the chair and then immediately moved on to another channel because I knew that would be the limit of his decency.

Far lower than it was on Comedy Central, that's for sure. He was actually funny on HBO, when no one really watched him and he could actually BE incorrect, but now that he's sold out to ABC (is it ABC? I never watch him anymore), he's as PC as can be.

We'll see how cowardly we are when our commandos get these bastards face-to-face and blow them away.

If I were to say that I felt like grabbing that puny d*ckhead Mahr by his hair and smashing his face into a brick wall as hard as I can, would JimRob consider that a "violent" post?

Well he has to be in PETA (People for the ethical treatment of animals), Because he couldn't be in PETA (People for the ethical treatment of Americans).
To: truthandlife
Most of the people Bill Maher associates with personally probably are cowards. No reason for me to be surprised at his remarks.
To: truthandlife
I've just emailed my local ABC affiliate to pull the show altogether.
To: AppyPappy
What did Bill Maher say that is not true?
To: truthandlife
Dinesh D'Souza: Not true. Look at what they did. First of all, you have a whole bunch of guys who are willing to give their life. None of 'em backed out. All of them slammed themselves into pieces of concrete. Excuse me. Was Osama bin Laden flying one of those planes? No, I don't think he was. Did the "brave guys who slammed themselves into concrete" attack our military men who volunteer to put their lives on the line? No, they flew planes full of women and children into defenseless men and women who only volunteered to do an honest day's work.
Cowards, one and all.

Of course, Bill Mahr did not mention who the coward was that ordered the missiles launched.
