Sears Cancels Advertising on ABC's 'Politically Incorrect' HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill., Sept. 19 /PRNewswire/ -- Sears, Roebuck and Co. has cancelled its advertising on ABC's late-night ``Politically Incorrect'' show hosted by Bill Maher. In the Houston area, the show is carried on Channel 13.
Sears took this action after reviewing a transcript of the September 17 conversation among Maher and his guests in which the U.S. military was described as cowardly.

It's about time... I live in Katy, Texas......stopped watching network TV years ago...Channel 13, 11, 2 in Houston all stunk...years ago.... I'd imagine today putrid might begin to describe their programming.....

WOW! AND I just delivered my ultimatum to the store manager at my local Sears this morning. Make sure you notify all local affiliates and THEIR ADVERTISERS that you will boycott them also.

So did Fed X. There's alot of outrage over this. I read where Fed X got around 100 calls.

Now I cannot remember why I had been boycotting (sp?) Sears from before....was it Boy Scouts?
