...and the orders were issued by a coward draft-dodging Commander-in-Chief named Bill Clinton.
But I have to admit it bothers me when we call people who get on an airplane and slam it into a building, killing themselves, "cowards."
They aren't cowards. That takes a bravery and dedication to a cause that is rare indeed, similar to the Kamikaze pilots of Japan.
But what it is, is pure unadulterated EVIL, when you are using such inhuman dedication to kill innocent civilians.
They aren't cowards, they aren't insane. They are EVIL, representatives of an EVIL CAUSE, and they have to be destroyed.
But they aren't cowards.
While I vehemently disagree with his comment about our military, he is right about the terrorists.
I hate them with a passion, but they are anything but cowards.
Are you out of your freaking mind????? Killing yourself requires bravery? How brave is one to kill oneself instantly at the expense of innocent people unable to defend themselves? The ignorance of your post is mind boggling! All suicide victims who are so brave as to put a gun to their head and pull the trigger are braver then those that day after day so gutlessly strive to live another day huh?
I guess that means that if someone wanted to say Martin Luther King was nothing more than a filthy N####R ABC would have an obligation to let them air their opinion?
Everyone knows liberals love Bill Mahr. Afterall he's one of them. This is the real reason the ABC producers aren't even offended by this because deep down all liberals I know (and here in the Northeast that's about all you run into)feel this way. This "freedom of expression" reasoning is a joke! The left beleive in freedom- hell they don't even understand it!
Do you see Maher stopping D'Souza from calling them "Warriors" ?
By not stopping him, or correcting him he endorces the statement!
By not stopping him, or correcting him he endorces the statement!
That's an interesting justification for misquoting someone. I guess the other people on the panel also called them "warriors" by that reasoning?
I'm still trying to figure out what the objection to the word "warriors" is. President Bush said the terrorists committed an "act of war." If warriors don't commit acts of war, then who does?
I'm only speaking of the actual perps who hijacked the planes.
Those who masterminded it are most definitely cowards.
they're feeling the pressure!

I AM FORWARDING YOU AN APOLOGY ISSUED BY BILL MAHER TODAY REGARDING A STATEMENT HE MADE ON MONDAY'S SHOW.
Bill Maher's statement:
Thank you for the opportunity to clarify my comments made on Monday's "Politically Incorrect" which should have been expressed differently.
In no way was I intending to say, nor have I ever thought, that the men and women who defend our nation in uniform are anything but courageous and valiant, and I offer my apologies to anyone who took it wrong.
My criticism was meant for politicians who, fearing public reaction, have not allowed our military to do the job they are obviously ready, willing and able to do, and who now will, I'm certain, as they always have, get it done.

Your response re-affirms my decision to not bother watching Bill Mahr. If this is ABC's attitude I will re-evaluate what other shows your network provides and contact the sponsors in the future.
You obviously don't care about our country, but FedEx and Sears seem to.

It takes dedication but not bravery.
Killing innocent men, women and children, striking without warning against civilians who can't defend themselves, is a profoundly cowardly act no matter how it's carried out. The Kamikaze pilots, by contrast, flew their planes into ships that could shoot back.
I'm with Bush on this one. These people were cowards.
I understand your point about suicides, but consider the difference: A suicide is simply running away from life.
These people were running TOWARD death, embracing it eagerly because they knew they would be taking a lot of innocent people with them, and accomplishing some tangible objectives.
Look at what they have done. They have brought the U.S. airline industry--and perhaps the U.S. economy itself--to the brink of disaster. They have ensured that American life will be inconvenienced and disrupted on so many levels. They have frightened and disoriented large numbers of the American populace.
In short, they had a vision about what they wanted to accomplish, they planned it out and they executed it--and themselves, at the same time.
That is so far different from merely taking a gun to one's head and snuffing it, it doesn't even bear discussion, IMO.
I'll go with that. It makes me wonder, though: Where do they find these guys, and convince THEM to die while the "big boys" go on living, safe behind their wall of deception and intrigue and lying?
I don't get that part at all.
Your vile suggestion that our military are cowards is an insult to all of the brave men who served and died in battle to give you the right to denigrate them. Why don't you and ABC management acknowledge who the real coward was...Clinton, the commander and chief who was too cowardly to take the political heat that would have occurred if he had used real force in lieu of the easy way out.
Laher, you are a sorry excuse for an American. I'm ashamed that our nation has granted you privilages that you are not worthy of.
