Hey everyone, I was trying to think of something to get your mind off the terrible events, and I realized the fall season is beginning next week. What shows are you Freepers looking forward to?
I'd have to say (And I have my flame suit on) that I love the West Wing. Yes, even though I don't agree with ANY of the policies on the show. I can get beyond that and look at the beauty of the American Political System.
I'd also have to say Frasier and Survivor

I had the thought that maybe our recent patriotic surge would help to sink Sally Field's new star turn as a liberal U.S. Supreme Court judge!

The Simpsons. That's it. And even that's been getting to be more and more of a chore the last few seasons.

Alias, West Wing, Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Dark Angel, The Tick. Scary when you open a listing of TV shows and start planning what machine will be taping what shows each night. Tivo is still my favorite toy, and I have had it for a year now.
And yes, I do realize I am somewhat addicted, but there are worse things. Its not like I don't still go out to shoot, ski, play paintball, etc.

While I certainly disagree with the majority of the political stands taken on "The West Wing," not to mention those held by its star, Martin Sheen, I have to admit that sometimes Sheen's character seems a lot more "presidential" than Clinton and many others ever were. I don't understand why, but I just can't help but like Martin, anyway. Go figure. I quit trying to.

Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda, Titus, Enterprise (although I'll stop watching if it's as bad as Voyager was), Thieves, Grounded for Life, and Wolf Lake (it's supposed to be the worst new show, so of course I have to watch it).
I'm also looking forward to ABC showing the Bond movies.

Hey, you go girl! I love the Vikes too. Although, seeing as how we have such a hard schedule and a lazy, loud mouthed superstar (Moss) I don't think we'll even make the playoffs this year.

CSI, JAG, Providence, The District, and Ed!!!!
BTW - Band of Brothers Sunday nights on HBO is excellent.
Wayne Brady Show is on the Fall schedule also!

Providence, that can be cute-- I may watch it.
Also, the Simpsons are pretty good too, but they they don't primere until later.
