These Moslim immigrants that are coming into this country, Are asking the Americans not to show the American flag or have the Lord's prayer in school because it offends them.

Me, personally, I'm tired of this. The American flag stands for freedom and liberty for all. To all these foreign companies, that have brought these immigrants, over to America by way of Visa's, that if they don't like our American flag and the Lord's prayer,

they don't have to come over here. The country is starting to remind me of a divided country just like Bosnia.

Congress says, we must be tolerant of others.

I think it's time to take Americans back from diversity to make it the United States of America.

Globalism are the U.N. has created this terrorist act on our country. From military exchanges to science exchanges, ect. Teachers, police, and open boarders.

Congress must accept some responsibilities from not protecting the United States citizens. They have signed onto by the way of treaties and laws to this internatinal U.N. World Order.

Now, because of the mistakes Congress has made, they want to make laws for our freedom, constitution, and bill of rights to be taken away from us.

It's time to vote all out of office

..at ABC News, as Barbara Walters explained on "The View" on Thursday, wearing the flag is discouraged because it may confuse the audience.

Exactly. If Barbara Walters wore a flag, some viewers might actually think she gives a damn about the USA.

Really? Link for this accusation? I know of no immigrant group that has done anything of the sort so I would be interested in learning. I would be quite surprised to learn that Moslem people who come to this country from all over the world would have this view that you are attributing to them.

Flag flap is overblown, Dade firefighters say

BY SARA OLKON AND NICOLE WHITE

nwhite@herald.com

They've ridden with the U.S. flag attached to their fire engines before. Countless times, said Miami-Dade firefighters James Moore, Terry Williams and William D.C. Clark.

But this week, the trio were thrust into the spotlight and suspended from the Fire Department over an incident they said was not only a misunderstanding but a matter blown way out of proportion.

Some supervisors have alleged that the trio refused to ride in a truck Sept. 15 unless the flag were removed.

Not so, they said.

They did have reservations about the flag, which has morphed into the ultimate symbol of patriotism since the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. But firefighters Moore, Williams and Clark said they objected to the flag's being on the truck last Saturday in part because it obstructed their view.

``What the flag means to white America is totally different from what it means to myself,'' said Williams, 29, a North Miami resident who has been with the department for eight years.

``As a black man in this country, as someone being subjugated, as my ancestors who have been mistreated so, of course I have reservations about the American flag,'' Williams said.

But those feelings have never prevented them from doing their jobs, Clark said.

The 18-year veteran wondered whether the terrorist attacks had robbed this country and its residents of their right to free speech.

``We are in no way insensitive to the feelings of those who lost loved ones; I, like the other two gentlemen, have friends and people who lost loved ones in the attacks on the World Trade Center,'' said Clark, 45, who also lives in North Miami.

But, Clark said, ``This is hypocrisy. The American flag is supposed to mean freedom and justice and equality for all who are protected by the laws of this country. It is supposed to protect those who have a difference of opinion, except in this case.''

By Thursday all three had been suspended with pay. ``Relieved of duty pending an investigation,'' said Miami-Dade Fire Department spokesman Louie Fernandez. ``Due process will now ensue.''

Fire Chief R. David Paulison, who after the fire station incident ordered all county fire engines to carry the U.S. flag, issued this statement: ``We regret the anguish this situation has caused our department.

``Our personnel consistently respond to calls for help, and currently are assisting in the relief effort at the Pentagon and New York City in the wake of the greatest disaster on American soil.

``We assure the public that this is an isolated incident, and our Fire Department -- with representatives from all ethnic backgrounds -- stands united in providing quality and patriotic service to the community.''

This week, County Manager Steve Shiver ordered that all county vehicles be fitted with flags.

``The flag is a symbol of what makes this country great,'' said Shiver, who said he would support whatever disciplinary action the chief ultimately makes.

Howard Simon, executive director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Florida, wondered whether this may be a case of overkill.

``I think there was a rush to judgment, particularly if these men were concerned for their safety.''

Still, Simon said the Fire Department has a right to post the flag anywhere it wants because that in and of itself does not impose any views on the employees.

What happened that day is still in dispute. Lt. Michael Simon, a supervisor, said Moore called the flag a symbol of oppression to black people.

``Firefighters Moore and Williams also stated that they would `go home sick' if they were required to ride on an apparatus that displayed the American flag,'' Simon wrote in a memo. ``The conversation escalated to a hostile nature.''

The three firefighters said they were consulting attorneys. They said they were worried about their future with a department they've served collectively for 46 years.

``There have been threats,'' said Moore, 49, of Broward County, a firefighter for 20 years. ``Right now, I can't go to work. No one will speak to me.

``You have freedoms here as long as it goes along with the program.''

Combine the IQ's of the viewers of "The View" with those of "Oprah" and you'd be just approaching room temperature. Those people are confused by life itself.

I'm tired of all this! Wave the flag or don't wave the flag.!! If you have the flag, let her fly, if you have the flag pin wear it with pride. If our symbol of freedom and those who have died for it is so offensive to foriegners, then perhaps it is time to pull their visa's and ask them to leave. If I were a guest in another country, I'd have manners enough to keep my opinions of their politics, country, countrymen, and flags to myself. As my mother always taught me...if you can't come to the party and be nice...stay home!

NBC's Tim Russert wore a red, white and blue ribbon Sunday on "Meet the Press." Yet at ABC News, as Barbara Walters explained on "The View" on Thursday, wearing the flag is discouraged because it may confuse the audience.

Can't risk having someone mistake them for Americans, right?

So Blaba Wawa thinks her audience is too ignorant to discern the meaning of a ribbon or flag?! What should we expect from an old wrinkled cow who hosts such insipid drivel as The View and gave air time to Obubba Been Laiden's favorite humidor?

"This is not the flag of the Bush administration or the Democratic Party. This is the flag of the country itself," Hume said in an interview Thursday. "If you're an American and choose to display the flag, it's difficult for me to see when that would ever be inappropriate." Hume doesn't believe flag-waving would leave journalists reluctant to ask difficult questions of American leaders.

As usual, Hume is the sane voice in the TV wilderness.

``As a black man in this country, as someone being subjugated, as my ancestors who have been mistreated so, of course I have reservations about the American flag,'' Williams said.

Then I suggest this poor put-upon fellow sell everything he owns, pack his family and possessions and movie to that utopia called Africa. We all know what a gleaming jewel of human rights that country is.

Anyone who is offended by the American flag in America, does not belong here. I don't say they should be molested or abused, but they sure as hell should not be given the power to restrict patrotic Americans from waving or wearing Old Glory anywhere. It's our country, it's our flag, and if burning it is a form of protected free speech, then wearing it and honoring it is sure as hell free speech too. I am offended by those who burn it, but no one gives a damn how offended I am. I'll wear it, honor it, and display it anywhere I damn well please and to hell with those who are offended by it.

Love me-love my Flag- or go home!

The familial battle at the News 12 Networks illustrates a wider debate within television about use of the potent political symbol.

Leave it to the anti-American leftists in the press to consider anything patriotic to be political.

You better look around.

Since 1992 to the present day, due to immigration, population increase, California 25%, Texas 18%, Florida 18%, Pennsylvania 15%, New York 20%, Ohio 15%, ect...on and on and on.

And to show you, how many immigrants have come to this country, destroying their schools, social security, health care, ect. I have a question for you, from the founding of this counrty to 1913-What book did the schools of this country use to educate the students? Let me give you a little hint, the book only contained the Lord's prayer and the U.S. Constitution.

That's why I personally think we are fighting a lost cause here in America. Little by little those bastards are stealing our freedoms from right underneath our noses! After reading all the disgraceful acts from some powerful anti-American born citizens, I DOUBT our country will ever be the same again! :( There are not enough of us, true blue Americans, to continue the fight to return America back to the principles that were once it's foundation. ONE NATION UNDER GOD...OOOPS..I MEAN, ONE NATION UNDER GODS. You think for one moment that GOD ALMIGHTY is willing to share His throne...think again!

The idea that Americans wearing/showing the American flag is 'divisive' or 'confusing' is simply an absurd, fall-back excuse for PC gone insane. Ignore these idiots.
How many of us would go to another (free) country and complain that the showing of that countrys flag was offensive or divisive to you? No sane person does this and we should not give any respect to those who ask it of us. This is America, not some third-world country with tribalism, religion, geography, ancestors or class dictating what we do and who we are or can be. The flag is a symbol of that unity and freedom.
I'm not too interested in what some person here on a visa thinks about us; it's our country, we respect it and expect them to do the same. Immigrants have done this for almost 200 years and our country has grown stronger for it. Now, the United States flag is 'divisive'? Nonsense. Ignore these fools who call our flag of unity a divisive symbol. It's a symbol of freedom. Maybe that's what bothers them so much.

``As a black man in this country, as someone being subjugated,

Some people will always try to take advantage of a situation to move their cause foreward, they are not our friends.

Subjugate THIS!
