TONIGHT WE CONTINUE TO PUT THE AFTERMATH OF THE ATTACKS "IN PERSPECTIVE." IN AN EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW WITH ME THIS AFTERNOON, THE BAY AREA'S RICHEST "TECH TYCOON" CALLED FOR A NATIONAL I.D. CARD TO COMBAT TERRORISM. THAT'S WHAT LARRY ELLISON TOLD ME AT HIS ORACLE HEADQUARTERS. AND WHAT'S MORE, HE'S OFFERING TO GIVE THE TECHNOLOGY TO CREATE SUCH AN I.D. CARD FREE-OF-CHARGE TO THE GOVERNMENT. VERBATIM:

IT'S WORTH NOTING THAT WHEN ELLISON STARTED "ORACLE" 25 YEARS AGO, HIS FIRST TWO CLIENTS WERE THE C.I.A. AND THE F.B.I. HE STILL WORKS CLOSELY WITH THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY TODAY.

AND ORACLE SUFFERED PERSONAL LOSSES LAST WEEK AS WELL, DIDN'T THEY? YES THEY DID. ONE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES WAS A HERO ON-BOARD THE PLANE THAT CRASHED IN PENNSYLVANIA, WHICH WAS DIVERTED BY THE PASSENGERS ON BOARD. AND SEVEN OTHER EMPOYEES WHO WERE AT THE WORLD TRADE CENTER ARE STILL MISSING.

How nice of them . . . NOT ! !

we don't need Joe Lockhart's old employer and another Clinton-worshiper "helping" us out. Just my opinion.

If I'm not mistaking, ORACLE is the company that invented the Digital Angel, the comupter chip designed to be placed under the skin?????
I'm pretty sure this is the company that is making them !!!!
To: Recovering_Democrat
Sheesh, the dems want to help now. I don't think I even like their little ploy.

I'm sure any national ID that comes down the pike will never ever ever ever be counterfeited, like drivers licenses and SSN cards, and we'll all be safe from evildoers.

I just figured out why Liberals are being so nice about all of this.....they probably figure guns will be taken away from everyone and now this national ID card. I see now...they knew some freedoms would be killed.

they can't do it without the help of the republicrats

"He also gave a ton of money to republicans. But he is a CS that's for sure. "I don't think he gave a ton of money to the Pubbies but for the purposes of this discussion it doesn't matter. We do not need a national ID card. It will not affect the outcome of this war one bit. It will, however, give bureaucrats one more way to make outlaws out of more citizens. I bet Tom Ridge comes out right away supporting this garbage.

This appears to be the transcript of a TV broadcast from a couple of hours ago. Where is KPIX, and what is their credibility?
Answer: CBS affiliate in San Francisco (Channel 5). Judge for yourself.

applied digital solutions is who you're looking for I do believeYes, the the ones taking credit, but many other companies helped foot the bill - a lot!.
I read ( World Net, I think) about the Digital Angel, and there was a list of companies involved in it. It told who contributed what, but I can't find the article in their archives.

have you checked hal lindsy's site? I'm sure I saw it there also. be right back.

That is Larry's stomping grounds. Why wouldn't he give the story to a local CBS affiliate ? Did you expect him to fly to NYC and announce it? Make no mistake, he will not be donating much of anything. There is a huge bonanza waiting for the administrator of such a database if it is ever created. Ask Ross Perot who put together a little ongoing concern known as EDS.
