WASHINGTON -- Eleven Puerto Rican nationalists granted clemency by President Bill Clinton were freed from prison Friday amid a political furor over their release. Most of them headed for Puerto Rico for a big welcome home.

Ricardo Jimenez left the federal penitentiary near Terre Haute, Ind., in style, riding through the gates in a gold Mercedes-Benz.

I haven't forgotten, and on this now truly SAD anniversary, we cannot let the REST of the world forget Bill Clinton's dismal record on his "war against terrorism". Not only did Bill Clinton FREE convicted terrorists, he also NEVER took steps against active terrorists: his actions against Osama bin Laden and the aspirin factory in Sudan were ONLY taken once, and ONLY when Monica Lewinsky was testifying before the Grand Jury. His ONLY meaningful actions against Saddam Hussein were take ONLY when the House was about to vote to impeach him.

Every liberal who voted to acquit this JOKE of a President should be defeated at the ballot box next election cycle: Robert Byrd, Tom Daschle, Paul Wellstone, Bob Graham, Mary Landrieu, ALL OF THEM. THEY ALL TURNED A BLIND EYE TO THE INACTIONS OF BILL CLINTON. PUT CONSERVATIVES IN THEIR PLACE!!

WOnder how much money these terrorist jerks came up with to satisfy the voracious appetite of bill and hill? Follow the money and you'll find out the guy who provided the gold mercedes for the drive out of one of the prisons where these lowlifes, these takers of innocent American lives were incarcerated, and you'll find a coin trail that leads to a bank, somewhere on this globe that houses clinton blood money. I'd bet on it.

None of his pardons came cheap.

But almost all of of the clinton duo's pardons crushed the purpose of the pardon exemption and crushed our rule of law.

"The enemy within needs to be rooted out, exposed, and brought to justice as much as the enemy overseas"

No doubt about it; the HOW about it, only a little more daunting. . .

"Klein cites this devastating quote from a senior Clinton official: "Clinton spent less concentrated attention on national defence than any other president in recent memory. He could learn an issue very quickly, but he wasn't very interested in getting his hands dirty with detail work. His style was procrastination, seeing where everyone was, before taking action. This was truer in his first term than in the second, but even when he began to pay attention he was constrained by public opinion and his own unwillingness to take risks."

In the immeadiate days following the WTC attack I researched the FALN question, and this is what I came up with:____________________

Three links for a review of the release of 14 convicted FALN terrorists by then President Clinton:

Clemency for the FALN--A Flawed Decision?

Prepared testimony of Congressman Dan Burton,
Chairman before the House Committee on Government Reform

http://www.jonathanpollard.org/1999/092199.htm

Puerto Rican nationalists to be released after two decades in prison.

World Socialist Web Site

http://www.wsws.org/articles/1999/sep1999/faln-s09.shtml

Fourteen of Eligible 16 Have Accepted Clemency Offer

ABC News

THIS HAPPENED ON SEPTEMBER 10, 1999!     TWO YEARS, ONE DAY BEFORE WTC ATTACK!

Lets not forget who befriended nearly every terrorist he could find.

9/11/1999 was a Saturday. The article you posted says the terrorists were released on Friday.

HOWEVER, it might be interesting to find out what the '12 Days of September" are.

Sept 1-12

Yes he was. They are still in demand since that day to turn them over. Also a sentencing hearing was supposed to happen that day for a terrorist at the Federal Courthouse in NYC as well. For some reason that story seems to have slipped as well in the media.
