MORE EVIDENCE OF CLINTON'S FAILURE

Fascinating report in the left-wing British paper, the Observer, about the extent of the Clinton administration's responsibility for hobbling our intelligence operations in the last ten years.
Vast files of intelligence from Sudan, specifically about Osama bin Laden, were simply ignored or spurned by Clinton officials.
According to the Observer, "One senior CIA source admitted last night: 'This represents the worst single intelligence failure in this whole terrible business. It is the key to the whole thing right now. It is reasonable to say that had we had this data we may have had a better chance of preventing the attacks.'
He said the blame for the failure lay in the 'irrational hatred' the Clinton administration felt for the source of the proffered intelligence - Sudan, where bin Laden and his leading followers were based from 1992-96.
He added that after a slow thaw in relations which began last year, it was only now that the Sudanese information was being properly examined for the first time."
Quick, Sandy (Berger-Clinton NSA head). Better leak something to the New York Times to spin this one away.

Sandy said on CNN a few weeks ago that this attack probably only took a couple of months to plan (in other words, Bush time, not Clinton time......har!)

.....this is the Observer eh? Trust or not trust the Marxist rag ? But then again it sounds just like the dems'n'clints
to sell us out big time. After all , Billy did everything else on the books , why not sell us out also. Don't be naive in believing Clinton was consistently idelogical - he had no core beliefs - he's a hollow shell.
However he was consistently self-promoting - whatever he could do to build his so-called
"legacy" or to enrich himself - get cash into his secret bank accounts - would influence his policies.

I have seen this same story at other venues. Seems there was a vast amount of information Sudan wanted to present to us that slick willie refused. More than likely it was because he did NOT want to act. By seeing no evil, he became evil. But then, billandhill were always evil through and through.

That claim that we missed OBM by an hour didn't get much mileage, maybe they should try again?
By the way, where was that claim while spooj was the President?

Vast files of intelligence from Sudan, specifically about Osama bin Laden, were simply ignored or spurned by Clinton officials. I can believe that, especially when we learned Clinton bombed an aspirin factory in the Sudan in the middle of the night. Clinton, the liar, said he bombed a chemical plant.

To: Illbay; Mitzi; NYCgal,
NY Times item 9/30: "This was a top priority for us over the past several years, and not a day went by when we didn't press as hard as we could," said Samuel R. Berger, national security adviser in the Clinton administration.
Oh sure, Sandy. When we thought you Clinton worshippers were spending most of your time spinning Clinton's sex life,
when he was getting monica-ed in the Oval Office, and helping Islamic terrorists drive the Serbs out of Kosovo,
you were actually totally focused on hunting down their pal bin Laden.
In the last analysis, the eight miserable Clinton years will be reduced to nothing more than Monica's
bj's in the Oval Office and defining what the meaning of is is. And, oh yes, blaming it on the VRWC.
