Send Us Real Men
by Jennifer King

Things in America changed forever in on September 11th.

It has been hilarious to watch those who misunderstand this entirely; Peter Jennings, Bill Maher and Maureen Dowd; now backpedaling furiously from the tidal wave of anger unleashed by their thoughtless diatribes. Oblivious schoolteachers and college professors; whose knee-jerk anti-Americanism in the wake of this attack have also suddenly felt the weight of the united wrath of the American public, pressing down upon their necks.

CNN, Reuters and ABC News; all accelerating their already precipitious slide down the slope of irrelevancy by refusing to call the terrorists "terrorists", and by prohibiting their journalists from wearing patriotic ribbons. The entire elected leadership of Berkeley, California, stuck forever in a dope induced haze left over from 1969; pro-Marxist Congresswoman Barbara Lee their intrepid mascot for her lone dissenting vote on utilizing force to combat the terrorist threat.

America has changed, but Americans haven’t. And, the reason the media elitists don’t understand the phenonmenon that has swept the nation since 9/11 is because they’ve never really understood us. Our patriotism for our country, our loyalty to the ideals expressed in our founding, our willingness to fight, and even to die, throughout the years in order to keep them both alive. We’re the Red Zone people, folks who believe that duty, honor, country and God are not just words to be sneered at by some candy-ass Professor steeped in anti-Western post modernist theory. You had your chance, fancy boy, now get the hell out of the way and let the real Americans do the job you should have done; but didn’t, when it was your turn.

Three weeks ago, the Wall Street Journal published a column on - of all things - male body hair. It seems that the gorillas of Wall Street had taken a page from the, (and I quote) "mainstreamed gay culture" and were having their entire bodies waxed in order to look like the dudes in Men’s Health. I think the terrorists might be able to take credit for, singlehandedly, crashing an entire budding industry. What kind of a guy is gonna worry about being hairy, now?

In fact, I predict that hairy is going to be the next big cultural trend. Hairy, large, strong and powerful men are suddenly, and thankfully, in. Out are the effeminate whiny boys on Friends; in are the burly, fearless, selfless and brave New York firefighters and policemen. Out are the kumbayah-singing-can’t-we-all-get-along long-haired pacifist dopes; in are the steely eyed, strong-willed and steadily resolved fighting men of the United States Marine Corps.

No longer will we sanction unqualified, yet certified nevertheless by PC frightened officers, women Navy pilots who promptly jettison their aircraft off the flight deck. No longer will we tolerate absurdities about women being stationed on submarines, or being cleared for active combat duty. The men of our armed forces need to be trained as rigorously as possible so that they can perform their duty, not dumbed down to lower standards so the girls don’t get their feelings hurt.

The failed feminist social experiment which started with the flaccid Clinton years should end promptly, replaced immediately with the vigor and potency of our traditional military forces. Those forces that won wars, and big ones at that.

Right now, we want John Wayne, Charleton Heston, Clint Eastwood. Right now, we want men, real men, men who understand what the fight is all about, and men who are willing to fight it.

So, out of the way, wussy boy journalists, whining victimologists and frenzied, harpy feminazi types. We don’t need you anti-American posers.

We don’t need to know why the terrorists hate us; it’s enough just to know that they do. We don’t need to "listen" to them; we need to shut them up. We don’t need to "examine our role" in precipitating the terrorist attacks; because there is - flat out - no excuse for what they did, regardless of what prior insult they imagine to have been inflicted upon them.

The Left doesn’t like to admit the possibility of evil, because they are irreligious at best and atheistic at worst. Nevertheless, evil does exist, and it’s pretty much embodied in a person who is willing to hijack civilian airliners and then use them as missiles in the attempt to kill as many innocent noncombatants as possible. Who then goes and hides out, like a cockroach in a kitchen cabinet, showing just what a chickenshit he really is.

He did this to us, we Americans, on our very own soil. He did this, deliberately, to our fellow Americans, to our citizens - of every religion, color and income level. Those of us who are proud to be Americans will not forget this and we will surely not forgive it. We will stay, united as one. We will stay fiercely angry, and fiercely determined, until justice has been exacted for every one of those American lives, so horrifically sacrificed, by this craven cowardly cockroach.

We will get Bin Laden, and we will get the terrorists. And we will send our men, our real men, our red-blooded American men, patriots all, to do the job; as they always have. No journalists need apply. ***

Perfect!

Somehow, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Patricia Rodham Schroeder, Jane Rodham Fonda and Lorena Rodham Bobbitt have forgotten that the MEN of Tailhook and others like them will save our country!

I wouldn't want to depend on a vegan for anything requiring upper body strength.

Great article; thank you.

Yes, makin' mock o' uniforms that guard you while you sleep
Is cheaper than them uniforms, an' they're starvation cheap;
An' hustlin' drunken soldiers when they're goin' large a bit
Is five times better business than paradin' in full kit.

Then it's Tommy this an' Tommy that an' "Tommy, ow's yr soul?"
But it's "Thin red line of 'eroes when the drums begin to roll.

Just as true today, isn't it. And when this little job is done, let us neither forgive nor forget those mockers in our midst. If America is to be again a country fit for heroes, she cannot also be fit for cockroaches.

speaking of playing along, terrorists aren't like a country we're going to conquer and then all the inhabitants play along as the properly defeated. this is a worldwide fabric of pissed off, suicidal people who will never be completely rooted out, and never be conquered without us conquering ourselves (killing our freedom, commerce, and many of the other things we've held dear). to pretend otherwise is to invite more attacks from the craziest, angriest, most suicidal people on the globe.

as a coworker from years ago wisely said one night when we had the opportunity to get into a fight with somebody who was plainly out of his gourd, "never mess with a crazy person."

if we don't respond with very tight tactics (both protective and aggressive), and THEN get the hell out of all of these countries where we don't belong, we may as well convert all our stock holdings to designer gas mask manufacturers. we certainly can't continue allowing the dumbass feds to control this situation; they're the ones who got us where we are today -- viewing the likely death (the permanent kind) of our way of life.

chest thumpers don't belong in positions where they can drive foreign policy. if we don't learn that lesson soon, it's all one big crumblefest from here on out. i'm tired of morons making my life more dangerous.
