"All signs point to war. But America needs to hold its fire," a prominent California student newspaper said in an editorial yesterday.
While President Bush threatens to wage war on countries that harbor terrorists, the Daily Bruin, the student newspaper at the University of California at Los Angeles, calls for diplomacy.

Maybe we can send Sarah Brady ,Rosie O'Duma ss ,& Slick Willie over there to install triger locks on bin Ladens AK's. I wonder if the fine leftist As@#**@#*les of the Peoples Republic of California would be saying that had LA been hit, and their family members incinerated and crushed beneath tons of rubble? I'm all for peace and love, but I don't care to sit by while those who wish us ill develop more sinister methods of extermination. I've travelled thru three states in the last few days and keep seeing the "United We Stand" stickers and signs.Perhaps there are those who don't recall the last three words in that phrase.

"The Mainstream Media" IS "The Leftist Media". It's so-called "journalists" are the distributors of "bad ideas" and dysinformation. They're what got us into this mess in the first place.

"Our own government, through much of the past 50 years, has been the world's leading 'rogue nation,'" responsible for innumerable "plainly illegal or unauthorized uses of force" that killed "thousands, if not millions, of innocents, most of them children." Traitor

I have been looking for a place to post this. The following
link is a good place for Freepers to find out if a peace protest is coming to a place near you. I had this idea that the information would come in handy for those who would like to Freep the peaceniks.

These are not universities of higher learning, they're Communist, anti-American bastions of bearded, 60's radicals spewing their poison under the protection of tenure. Why any parent would cough-up the tuition for their brat to become indoctrinated in such evil, is beyond my comprehension.

The Lotus Flower Movement is out there, as evidenced by Phil Donahue.
This Administration is riding something a hell of a lot bigger than a tiger in the way it is "handling" this. One does not want to look impotent in a case like this, and right now, that is how it is looks.

If the college papers are parroting the Nation and Progressive, then the communists have indeed taken over academia.

"Hello, is this the Taliban? Yeah, this is Unocal.
Listen, we're cutting this kind of close. We can either deal now, right away, or the deal will be made after the war that's heading right at you, buddy.
What's that? Oh, sure, everybody feels that war is the best way to get all those pipeline-attacking guerillas out of the picture, it's true. But you know, maybe we can still slice you in on a piece of the pie..."

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 3. More on THE GREAT OIL WAR. In the 1970s, the USSR made a decision to find and drill HUGE amounts of oil under its central Asian republics...but the Soviets needed that pipeline through Afghanistan. Their decision to invade Afghanistan in 1979 was not merely because of political unrest and rebellion in that country. It was about OIL.
